Abstract

The pandemic caused by Covid 19 has made changes in learning. Previously, students came to school to study in class and meet directly with the teachers. Now, learning has been done online, where students learn from home. During this online learning, there were several problems related to discipline which caused the learning atmosphere to be less conducive. Based on these problems, the aim of the research is the application of the habituation method by Christian teachers can help students familiarize themselves to Christian values in applying discipline during online learning. The research method is descriptive qualitative research method by taking data based on observations and teaching results during the implementation of the Field Experience Practicum and literature study. The research shows that the application of habituation methods can shape student discipline during online learning. Therefore, it is concluded that the habituation method can be applied and suggested to the teachers in helping students have noble character through habituation in applying student discipline during online learning.

Abstract

Learning discipline is needed to create effective and conducive learning conditions to achieve learning objectives. The problem of student discipline is a topic that teachers encounter quite often, especially during the current online learning period. Violation of classroom rules in online learning makes teachers confused about what kind of consequences will be given to students. This disciplinary violation needs to be followed up by the teacher. The sinful nature in the student causes him to deviate from God's truth, and Christian teachers have the responsibility of bringing students back to God's truth. However, the disciplinary action that the teacher gives must be in accordance with the principles of discipline according to God's Word and bring shalom in the classroom community. As a solution, the teacher takes a communication and relational approach that includes six methods for disciplining PAUD students. This approach is based on a disciplinary principle that refers a biblical Christian viewpoint. The teacher acts as a servant and shepherd, that is, the teacher becomes a living example who guides students to return to God's truth. The purpose of this paper is to describe the role of Christian teachers in presenting the Shalom Community in the classroom through disciplinary principles based on literature studies based on a biblical Christian view.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka memiliki konsep kurikulum yang menuntut kreatifitas guru di mana guru sebagai pendidik memiliki keleluasaan untuk merancang modul ajar yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik peserta didik, kebutuhan peserta didik dan ketersediaan sarana prasarana yang dimiliki sekolah. Adapun tujuan dari Kurikulum Merdeka adalah untuk menjawab tantangan pendidikan di era revolusi industri 4.0 dalam menyiapkan generasi muda agar dapat berkontribusi dan menghadapi tantangan di era globalisasi. Oleh karena itu, guru memerlukan kemampuan untuk merancang bahan ajar yang di dalamnya terdapat komponen-komponen seperti tujuan pembelajaran, langkah pembelajaran, penilaian dan media pembelajaran. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan, didapati guru-guru di SMP Fellycia belum sepenuhnya memahami konsep Kurikulum Merdeka. Hal ini menyebabkan guru-guru memiliki kesulitan dalam membuat, memodifikasi, dan mengembangkan modul ajar.Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, tim memberikan pelatihan pembuatan bahan ajar dengan berdasarkan pada Kurikulum Merdeka. Tujuan kegiatan PKM adalah membekali guru SMP Fellycia agar dapat membuat bahan ajar, memodifikasi, dan mengembangkan berdasarkan pada Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode pelatihan adalah dengan ceramah, tanya jawab, brainstorming, dan presentasi peserta. Hasil kegiatan PkM adalah 71% guru-guru di SMP Fellycia dapat memahami esensi dari Kurikulum Merdeka dan dapat membuat, memodifikasi, dan mengembangkan bahan ajar Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar.
