Abstract

Abstract. Breakwater is one of coastal structures to overcome problems of abrasion. Due to difficulties in obtaining rock material at the coast area, so the using of sandbags as a breakwater providing advantages in utilizing local materials. Therefore, the problem of the rock material supply can be overcome. The environmentally oriented conservation of the coastal protection is necessarily built without damaging the beauty of the coast itself. That is why this research on behavior of the stability of submerged sandbag breakwater is carried out this experimental research conducted in 2-D physical model and take place on the flume tank of Laboratory Ocean Engineering Department, ITS Surabaya for stability test, it shows that the deformation of the sandbags is influenced by the elasticity of sandbags which depends on its dimension and density. The sandbags size influences the grip zone. As a result, the deformation of sandbag depends on the wave forces, as a consequence of the change of slope and cross areas due to sandbags shape and formation type. The formation of SK1 has relatively high stability; the structure with mild slope is more stable, and the sandbag shapes B1 more stable than B2 Abstrak. Pemecah gelombang merupakan salah satu struktur pantai yang digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan abrasi. Namun sering sulit ditemukan material batuan di lokasi tersebut, maka penggunaan kantong pasir sebagai pemecah gelombang menguntung karena menggunakan material lokal. Sehingga permasalahan suplai material batuan dapat terselesaikan. Pengaman pantai yang berwawasan lingkungan sangat diperlukan untuk mengamankan pantai tanpa merusak pemandangan pantai. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini melakukan studi mengenai perilaku stabilitas pemecah gelombang kantong pasir tipe tenggelam.Penelitian ini berbentuk pengujian model fisik 2-D skala lab, yang dilakukan di Flume Tank Laboratorium Jurusan Teknik Kelautan, ITS Surabaya. Pada uji stabilitas menunjukkan bahwa respon kantong pasir dipengaruhi oleh elastisitas kantong pasir, sedangkan elastisitas kantong pasir tergantung pada dimensi kantong dan kepadatan kantong. Ukuran kantong berpengaruh terhadap zona jepitan, dimana zona jepitan ini dipengaruhi oleh perbandingan panjang dan tebal kantong. Perilaku deformasi kantong pasir tergantung pada elastisitas kantong. Sesuai hasil pengujian, deformasi kantong pasir tergantung pada gaya yang bekerja pada kantong, jadi deformasi kantong dipengaruhi oleh kemiringan dan luas penampang kantong, sebagai akibat perubahan bentuk kantong dan jenissusunan. Jenis susunan SK1 mempunyai stabilitas relatif tinggi; struktur dengan kemiringan landai lebih stabil, dan bentuk kantong B1 lebih stabil dibandingkan bentuk B2 untuk susunan yang sama.

Abstract

Kepulauan Kangean merupakan gugusan pulau-pulau kecil yang terletak di sebelah timur laut pulau Madura, dengan kepulauan terbesar adalah pulau Kangean. Pulau kangean sendiri termasuk dalam wilayah kabupaten Sumenep dan terbagi dalam Tiga wilayah kecamatan yaitu kecamatan Arjasa, Kecamatan Sapeken dan Kecamatan Raas. Aktivitas wisata bahari diantaranya adalah santai dipantai/menikmati lingkungan alam sekitar pantai, berenang, tour keliling (boat tour, cruising/extended bongat tour), surfing, diving, water sky dan sailing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan manganalisa permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam pengembangan wisata bahari Kepulauan Kangean, serta menganalisis rencana starategis pemetaan pengembangan wisata bahari di Kepulauan Kangean Kabupaten Sumenep, Madura. Hasil penilaian kesesuaian pulau kangean untuk wisata bahari diperoleh hasil 708 yang artinya sangat sesuai, sedangkan untuk analisa Internal Eksternal Faktor Analisys Summary (I-EFAS) adalah 2,8 – 2,9 yang artinya kondisi internal dan eksternal memiliki kekuatan untuk mengatasi situasi yang ada. Skala prioritas untuk pengembangan wisata bahari di pulau kangean berdasarkan analisis SWOT dan AHP adalah: 1). Peningkatan infrastruktur wisata bahari, 2). Pengelolaan wisata bahari berbasis masyarakat, 3). Promosi dan publikasi obyek wisata, 4). Peningkatan kerjasama antar sektor terkait, 5). Pembinaan dan pelatihan wisata bahari, 6). Peningkatan stabilitas keamanan wilayah, 7). Pembagian zonasi pemanfaatan perikanan dan pariwisata. Sedangkan untuk data citra ALOS diperoleh data dari masing-masing lokasi yang disurvey memiliki lokasi yang berkarakteristik dan memiliki kelemahan dan kekuatan masing-masing namun demikian secara umum lokasi ini dinilai semua kawasan ini berpotensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai kawasan wisata bahari.Kata Kunci: AHP, identifikasi, pemetaan, sumberdaya, SWOT, wisata bahariTHE IDENTIFICATION OF RESOURCE POTENTIAL AREA OF KANGEAN ISLAND, SUMENEP REGENCY, MADURA AS NAUTICAL TOURISM AREAABSTRACTKangean Islands is a cluster of small islands located at the north east of Madura Island. The biggest island is Kangean Island. Kangean Island is included in the territory of Sumenep Regency area and divided into three districts areas which are Arjasa, Sapeken and Raas Districts. The activity of nautical tourism some of which are relaxing on the beach/enjoying environment around the beach, swimming, touring around (boat tour, cruising/extended boat tour), surfing, diving, water skyingand sailing. This research had the objective to identify and analyze the problems dealt in developing nautical tourism in Kangean Islands, as well as to analyze the strategic plan of development mapping for nautical tourism in Kangean Islands, Sumenep Regency, Madura. The finding showed that Kangean Island was suitable for nautical tourism, the result was 708 which meant that it was highly suitable. While the Internal External Factor Analysis Summary (I-EFAS) was by 2.8 – 2.9 which meant that both internal and external conditions had strength to deal with the existing situation.The priority scales to develop nautical tourism in Kangean Island which was based on SWOT and AHP analysis were: 1). Improvement for nautical tourism infrastructure, 2). Community-based nautical tourism development, 3). Promotion and publication of tourism object, 4). Cooperation improvement among the relevant sectors, 5). Training and development of nautical tourism, 6). Improvement of security stability of the region, 7). The zone division of fisheries and tourism utilization. While for ALOS image data, there found the data of each surveyed location that they were characterized location which had their own strength and weakness. Abstract

Law 27/2007 is the very basic rules for making the composition as well as planning and management tool on the ocean / beach / small islands. Law 27/2007 assumed less informed and not recognized by the staff of the government or society in general. This paper aims to identify the extent of socialization of Law 27/2007 by the relevant stakeholders, identify what factors or variables that have been well received and well prepared to implement Law 27/2007. Coastal and marine areas are relatively large with a variety of problems into consideration in determining Sidoarjo regency as a research location. There are two factors that were assessed, namely the level of knowledge of the material or content of the Law 27/2007 and the level of readiness for the implementation of Law 27/2007. Factor is defined by a number of variables and indicators. Methods of analysis using the Multi Dimensional Scaling with ALSCAL procedure to map a number of indicators. Identify the level of knowledge and level of readiness for the implementation of Law 27/2007 on the respondents showed very weak. There are varying levels of knowledge, although the general information about the Act is informed by good, but the policies, programs and tools to implement the government or community level have not adequate yet.

Abstract

Perairan pantai di Kabupaten Bangkalan merupakan kawasan strategis pengembangan kawasan pesisir, terutama pasca Jembatan Suramadu. Meningkatnya pemanfaatan areal pantai berpotensi menimbulkan gangguan terhadap ekosistem dan keseimbangan pantai, salah satunya dengan konversi tanaman bakau menjadi areal pertambakan maupun pemukiman. Luasan bakau yang rendah memiliki kerentanan relatif tinggi terhadap gelombang dan arus laut yang potensial menyebabkan erosi, sehingga terjadi kemunduran garis pantai (retrogration coast) yang bersifat erosi aktif. One-line model berdasarkan persamaan CERC merupakan salah satu metode pemodelan numerik untuk mengetahui perubahan garis pantai, dengan salah satu parameter utama adalah gelombang. Angin digunakan untuk mendapatkan properties gelombang, dan dilakukan analisa refraksi. Model divalidasi menggunakan citra Landsat. Estimasi model menunjukkan ada perubahan garis pantai pada hampir sebagian besar sel, terutama pada sel 96 dan 316. Garis pantai di lokasi penelitian relatif stabil, kecuali di daerah dermaga Kamal dan sekitar Suramadu.Kata Kunci : Oneline-model, Stabilitas pantai The Shoreline Stability Analysis at Bangkalan Regency. Coastal waters in the Bangkalan regency made up a strategic area for the development of coastal areas, especially after the Suramadu bridge was built. Development of the coastal area cause an increase the utilization of coastal areas in which it might cause to interference of the ecosystem and the beach equilibrium, one of them is change the mangrove ecosystem into both aquaculture and residences. The small mangrove area has a vulnerability is relatively high as compared to the waves and ocean currents causing erosion. As a result, there are retrogration coast that are actively erosion. One-line model based on CERC equation is one of the numerical modeling to know shoreline changes with main parameters is wave. Wind speed used to wave properties for refraction analyze. The validation of model used satellite imagenary. Abstract

The coastal area as a densely populated area with high socio-economic activity is currently experiencing impacts in various sectors due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak. However, the efforts to minimize the impact of the pandemic are still general and have not taken consider the conditions of communities in coastal areas. This analysis aims to determine the factors that cause the coastal community of Kenjeran to experience a decline and a decrease in trade and economic activity and identify the probability during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this analysis is Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). The result shows that the main factors causing the decline are decreased fish sales, decreased community income, decreased activity at sea, and decreased activity of traders in the market with the probability factor of 0.2494 or 24%. Mitigation recommendations for the coastal community of Kenjeran Beach are a collaboration between the fishers and the policy of cooperation between the trade office and the marine service to conduct clustering for fishers so that they can supply scarcity of marine fish and limited marine product, also monitoring the health protocols with the swab and rapid tests for traders by permanent health service.

Abstract

Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit Indonesia, many fishery households on Indonesia's coast have been affected. Therefore, an analysis of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic was carried out on the health and economy of fisheries households in the coastal areas of Kenjeran Beach, especially in Kedung Cowek Village, Bulak, Surabaya. The Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method is used to find the probability of decreasing fisheries household welfare and the Event Tree Analysis (ETA) to find the level of risk for each factor causing the decline in the welfare of fishery households. The analysis result shows that 21 factors cause household welfare in Kenjeran Beach to decline, grouped into two intermediate events: decreasing fisheries household income and decreasing fishery household health. The probability of fishery household welfare decreases by 0.0171212. Decreasing welfare of fisheries households has a risk that fisheries household income will not experience a decrease in income, and there is no spread of COVID-19, with a risk probability of 0.0052 and having a medium risk index level. Based on this, stakeholders in the income and health of fisheries households such as the government, analytical institutions, and households have a role in mitigating the impact of COVID-19.

Abstract

The Stability Characteristics of Sandbag Submerged Breakwater. Breakwater is one of coastal structures to overcome problems of abrasion. Due to difficulties in obtaining rock material at the coastal area. The using of sandbags as a breakwater provides advantages in utilizing local materials. A Sandbag has a smooth surface, so the internal shear forces are relatively small. According to these phenomena, the research for parameters that are expected to affect the stability of the sand bags. These parameters are a slope, shape and formation of sand bags. This experimental research conducted in two dimensional physical model and took place on the flume tank of Ocean Engineering Department, Faculty of Marine Technology, ITS. Scaled model 1 : 10. The bag was made in shapes, B1 and B2. Sand bags were prepared with the slope 1 : 1.5 and 1 : 2,0, width of top was 60 cm. The waves were regular waves, period of 1.5 seconds. The wave height was adjusted with the level of stability sand bags. It showed that the response of the sandbag was influenced by interlocking between sandbags. As a result, the stability depended on the change of wave forces, as a consequence of the change of slope and cross areas due to sandbags shape and formation type.
