Abstract

Civics curriculum from year 1975-2013 are ultimately aims to make citizens say, act, and behave, based on Pancasila or spirit in everyday life that are run from the time school education to become a high school mature and become the pride of the nation bless yourself, family, school, state and nation with the moral soul/good and intelligent character who can advance and competitive in national and international era. Civics strength is on the Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, values, morals, local knowledge and diversity in cultured. There are weaknesses in the teaching of Civics monotonous and more innovative not only focuses on the cognitive, affective and psychomotor while dispensed and not included on the national exam. Opportunities Civics still need a lot of development in the scientific body of knowledge. Threats of civics is free sex of number of students who make the nation weak morals and act not see the value of Pancasila (say and behave without values). Civics solution through a process of learning and practice of students in the school are monitored and assessed as a form of moral evaluation and student behavior.

Abstract

Indonesia, which is a multicultural nation, will not be separated from the rampant cases of intolerance between religious communities that lead to religious blasphemy, clashes between religious communities and even the destruction of houses of worship that harm many people and cause chaos in society. To deal with this, it is necessary to strengthen understanding of inter-religious tolerance which aims to increase public understanding of the importance of maintaining national unity, since in principle every religion teaches goodness to its people. Therefore, in realizing tolerance between religious communities, it can be done through good communication between religious leaders, a culture of harmony and mutual respect for differences as well as helping fellow humanity towards other religions. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, with data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the people of Jungjang village, Arjawinangun district, Cirebon have a very good culture of tolerance and are able to create a peaceful atmosphere in the community even though there are houses of worship nearby the location.

Abstract

This research was conducted to look at the implementation, achievements, constraints, and efforts of the West Java’s Government Program, it’s called Sekolah Perempuan Capai Impian dan Cita-cita (Sekoper Cinta) to developing family welfare values in Community Civic. This topic based on curiosity about West Java Government Policies  in overcoming family problems by promoting women as agents of family welfare development in West Java. Sekoper Cinta is a non-formal education program that collaborates with the concept of Community Civic. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. Data and information was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation study. This study was conducted in Galanggang Village, Batujajar District, West Bandung Regency as a pilot project location of this program. The conclusion in this study describes the urgency of developing family welfare in the Sekoper Cinta program through Community Civic, then the achievements and methods used in the process of internalizing the values of family welfare

Abstract

This research was conducted to describe approaches, strategies, obstacles, efforts to develop the faith, piety, and noble morals towards students character in SMP Negeri 10 Bandung. The approach chosen is a qualitative approach with the method is case study. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation techniques, and study documentation. Techniques in data analysis namely collection data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The final results of this study show that there are various approaches and strategies used by the informants. Then there are also obstacles faced, both from students, the social environment, and government policies. Then there are efforts made together, both of schools, communities, and parents of students. So that the approach and strategy gives good results in developing the faith, piety, and noble morals towards the character of students.
