Abstract

This study aims to complete the safety management system document and change the layout of the sheet metal workshop at PT. Merpati Maintenance Facility Surabaya. The authors found a decrease in the level of safety and efficiency based on the results of field observations. Based on the existing conditions, the author will process the data using qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches or HIRAM (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Mitigation) and gap analysis to analyze and process existing data using the HIRAM method which is then followed up by making a new layout. The conclusion of this study is to find the risk of hazards that have a high value so that controls must be carried out to reduce the risk of the hazard to an acceptable level of risk and create a new layout of the sheet metal workshop. Suggestions from the results of this paper are that PT. Merpati Maintenance Facility carries out mitigation measures from the results of this research and makes minimum layout changes as designed by the authors.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the results of the data record condition of safety in maintenance unit issued by the safety and quality department of PT. Avia Teknik Dirgantara who explained that every year starting from 2017-2021 there were several incidents that caused minor injuries to the workers in the company. There are two research variables that will be analyzed related to their relationship. The data analysis technique used in this quantitative analysis is parametric statistics in which there are simple correlation techniques and simple linear regression. The objectives and targets of this study are to determine the correlation and effect between the work environment and safety risk management, and the relationship between the two can be explained through the regression equation. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between the two variables. Obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.876 which indicates a very strong level of relationship between work environment variables and safety risk management. The work environment contributes 76.7% to safety risk management. The effect of the work environment on safety risk management is obtained by the regression equation Y = 1.389 + 0.487X.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya jumlah dan kompetensi guru bidang produktif sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK), khususnya bidang produktif SMK Penerbangan. Data pemerintah tahun 2019 menunjukkan guru produktif yang mengajar materi pelajaran sesuai bidang keahliannya masih rendah, di bawah 35%. Dampak dari peningkatan kualitas guru produktif akan mempengaruhi kualitas lulusan SMK penerbangan, sehingga link and match dengan dunia industri penerbangan akan semakin membaik. Di sisi lain, Program Studi Teknik Pesawat Udara (TPU) PPI Curug memiliki kualifikasi dosen dan kurikulum yang telah memenuhi persyaratan CASR 147, termasuk untuk program perawatan Airframe dengan salah satu kegiatan pendampingan pengembangan modul praktik dan job sheet. Sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab pengabdian kepada masyarakat, dosen dapat memberikan pendampingan pengembangan modul praktik dan job sheet sehingga guru memiliki pemahaman dalam mengembangkan modul praktik dan job sheet. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMKN 29 Jakarta yang memiliki jurusan Airframe and Powerplant, kegiatan ini meliputi Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan guru SMKN 29 serta review dokumen terkait kebutuhan modul praktik yang akan disusun. Dari hasil FGD disepakati materi yang akan disusun dalam modul praktek adalah bending, rolling riveting dan, sedangkan untuk pemilihan benda kerja yang akan dibuat dalam job sheeet adalah bracket and clip. Kemudian kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan penyusunan modul praktik serta penyusunan job sheet. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di SMKN 29 Jakarta berupa modul praktek dilengkapi soal ujian dan job sheet. Dengan adanya modul praktik dan job sheet ini, SMKN 29 Jakarta memiliki bahan ajar praktek untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa pada kompetensi  bending, rolling dan riveting.

Abstract

Aircraft repair merupakan kompetensi yang diujikan untuk siswa SMK Penerbangan. Untuk meningkatkan daya saing lulusan SMK Penerbangan Bina Dhirgantara dibutuhkan kesesuaian bahan ajar dengan kompetensi yang dipersyaratkan oleh DKPPU. Kegiatan PKM ini dimaksudkan untuk menyelaraskan bahan ajar yang tersedia dengan kompetensi yang dipersyaratkan oleh DKPPU. Kegiatan pendampingan dilaksanakan secara offline dan online selama 3 hari. Hasilnya adalah pendampingan penyusunan bahan ajar teori aircraft repair untuk siswa SMK Bina Dhirgantara ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya saing lulusan SMK Penerbangan Bina Dhirgantara

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pengajar di SMK Negeri 29 Jakarta dalam bidang teknik pesawat udara, khususnya melalui pelatihan troubleshooting pada sistem kelistrikan pesawat terbang. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pengajar yang umumnya memiliki latar belakang pendidikan kejuruan umum dan kurangnya pengalaman di industri penerbangan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi perumusan tim, identifikasi sasaran, analisis masalah, dan pelaksanaan pelatihan yang terdiri dari teori dan praktik. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui kuesioner untuk mengukur kepuasan peserta dan efektivitas pelatihan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini berjalan dengan baik dan memberikan manfaat langsung bagi mitra. Diharapkan kegiatan ini berkelanjutan dengan program pelatihan lainnya untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut untuk pengajar di SMK Negeri 29 Jakarta. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, tetapi juga menunjang pengembangan sumber daya manusia di sektor penerbangan di Indonesia.

Abstract

The psychomotor ability of students is one of the important aspects of the learning process. To achieve optimal psychomotor abilities, effective and efficient learning methods must be applied. This literature review article discusses three learning methods that affect students' psychomotor abilities: Project-Based Learning, Inquiry-Based Method, and Demonstration Method. Previous studies have shown that these three learning methods can help improve students' psychomotor abilities. Project-Based Learning can enhance the creativity and cooperation skills of students in a structured learning environment. The inquiry-Based Method can help students improve problem-solving and critical thinking skills through their experiments and discoveries. The Demonstration Method helps students acquire physical skills through observation and direct practice. Although these three learning methods have been proven effective, the selection of the appropriate learning method should be tailored to the characteristics of the students and the learning context.

Abstract

In aircraft maintenance, it is necessary to calculate the workload, to find out how much manpower is needed for a job. Determining manpower requirements to ensure maintenance work is carried out in an efficient manner and at a high level of quality. The Aviation Facilities Calibration Center (BBKFP) still applies a conventional approach in carrying out maintenance, with crowds without a clear manpower estimate for the work carried out by technicians. The method for calculating workload on Maintenace Phase 1 King Air B200 series is the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method. The purpose of this research is to find out the amount of workload in Maintenance Phase 1 of the KingAir B200 series, to find out the suitability of the optimal number of manpower in Maintenance Phase 1 of the King Air B200 Series, and to find out the number of technicians that corresponds to the workload from the FTE calculations in Maintenance Phase 1 of the King Air B200 Series. The results of this research showed that 63.63% of the sections were still in the Overload condition, 9.09% were in the Underload category and 27.27% were in the Fit / Normal Category.
