Abstract

The present paper critiques and analyses three articles ‘Measuring Employee Expectations in a Strategic Human Resource Management Research: Job Satisfaction’ which appeared in the journal ‘Procedia Social and Behavioral Sciences’, published in 2011, ‘Shattered but smiling: Human resource management and the wellbeing of hotel employees during COVID-19’ which appeared in the journal ‘International Journal of Hospitality Management’, published in 2021, and ‘Innovation Culture and Strategic Human Resource Management in Public and Private Sector within The Framework Of Employee Ownership’ which appeared in the journal ‘Procedia Social and Behavioral Sciences’, published in 2015. This review will begin by summarising the articles. It will then briefly analyse the effectiveness of the article based on how it was structured – investigating how the information is set out and whether the readers can access it effectively and with ease. And finally the article will be critiqued based upon its authority and accuracy, and how current and relevant the information presented is. The review will also analyse any graphs and tables before finally judging the article’s accessibility and credibility. The central theme of the paper is to present a ‘conceptual framework encompassing a range of organization's overall issues relevant to strategic human resource management’. The framework provides a foundation for organising the existing and the growing literature on international competition and ‘creating a map of the field’. The chosen articles can be used for both teaching and future research, but more importantly they are most beneficial for manager of multinational corporation. Which is aimed at providing then with ‘relating and synthesizing the different perspectives and prescriptions that are currently available for global strategic management’.

Abstract

The role of employees in the organization is a crucial part to be able to maintain the company and compete with other companies. The reason is, the role of human resources is used as a role within the organization to form a cooperation strategy in order to develop the company for the better. The method used by the researcher is a systematic literature review. The results prove that the role of human resources in the company can be used as a strategic partner for the company, especially when focused on partner organization strategies and the balanced scorecard. So, based on these results, it can be concluded that reliable and quality human resources will make a major contribution to the progress of the organization.

Abstract

Background: The birth of a baby is the most impressive, enjoyable, and even life-changing life experience for a woman. Every woman wants every birth plan according to her hopes and desires. Birth planning is a simple, clear statement of a woman's preferences for childbirth. The current weakness is that providers often plan births according to their wishes. But less in support as desired by every mother. One alternative in preparing for childbirth is to provide counseling through the provision of modules. The delivery preparation module contains information about a fun delivery guide, it is hoped that every mother can develop a coveted birth plan The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of counseling using the delivery preparation module on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women in the third trimester of childbirth. Methods: Quantitative research, quasi-experimental type with pre-test-post-test control group design. The subjects of this study were 3rd trimester pregnant women. Sampling was done by randomized assignment method, the treatment group was in the Pasar Rebo Health Center area and the control group was at the Ciracas District Health Center. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon test, independent t test and Mann Whitney test. Results: there was a significant difference in the mean score of knowledge (p= 0.0001) and attitude (p= 0.0001) of third trimester pregnant women in post-test-pre-test measurements between the treatment group and the control group. There is a higher difference in scores for the knowledge and attitudes of third trimester mothers who are given intensive counseling using the delivery preparation module in readiness for childbirth Conclusion: the knowledge and attitudes scores of mothers who were given intensive counseling using the delivery preparation module were significantly higher than those who were not given intensive counseling.

Abstract

Developments that occur within the company require the role of employees in order to help improve company performance. In this development, it is necessary to have a commitment given by employees to the company. Of course, it is necessary to have a factor that can affect the commitment shown by employees, namely through the work-life balance and the satisfaction felt by the employees. The method used by the researcher is a systematic literature review that focuses on work life balance, job satisfaction and commitment. The results prove that the role of work-life balance and the satisfaction felt by employees are able to shape the desire of employees to give their commitment. The role of work-life balance and job satisfaction can affect organizational commitment. The commitment given by employees must be based on satisfaction in order to form high loyalty behavior. The more satisfied the employee, the more committed the employee will be to the company.

Abstract

Sejak merebaknya Covid 19 di Indonesia, penerapan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) dan PPKM membuat perkantoran baik pemerintah maupun swasta menerapkan bekerja dari rumah. Akibat adanya perubahan aktifitas fisik dan perubahan pola konsumsi di balik gaya hidup hybrid di masa Pandemi yaitu peningkatan Indeks Masa Tubuh (IMT). Tantangan terbesar kesehatan masyarakat global saat ini adalah epidemi obesitas, dan merupakan peringkat tiga besar penyebab gangguan kesehatan kronis. Diseluruh wilayah, obesitas lebih tinggi pada perempuan dibandingkan pada laki-laki. Pada wanita, obesitas sangat memiliki dampak yang besar, seperti hilangnya kepercayaan diri, menganggap diri menjadi tidak cantik dan dapat pula mempengaruhi proses persalinan. Berjalan adalah suatu bentuk aktivitas fisik yang sederhana, murah, hemat waktu dan dapat dilakukan oleh semua orang, tetapi membutuhkan pengukuran yang objektif. Jumlah langkah yang diambil dapat direkam dengan pedometer. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian potong lintang untuk melihat hubungan antara aktivitas fisik berdasarkan rerata jumlah langkah perhari pada ibu menopause pada masa pandemi covid 19. Populasi penelitian adalah menopause berusia 45-65 tahun. Data diuji terdistribusi normal dan dilakukan uji t-tidak berpasangan. Hasil analisis didapatkan rata-rata umur menopause wanita adalah 56.9 tahun dengan standar deviasi 3.9 tahun. usia termuda 45 tahun dan umur tertua adalah 63 tahun, rata-rata berat badan 68.1, mempunyai rata-rata tinggi badan 157.85 cm, status gizi (IMT) rata-rata 27.7 dan aktivitas berdasarkan rerata jumlah langkah yaitu sebesar 6601.25. rerata aktivitas 1730 langkah perhari untuk aktivitas kurang dan 10181 untuk rerata dengan aktivitas fisik aktif Diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat perbedaan rerata jumlah langkah yang bermakna antara kelompok subyek pada ibu menopause dengan obesitas dan kelompok subyek menopause tanpa obesitas (p< 0.05). Rekomendasi agar wanita yang sudah mengalami menopause dapat meningkatkan aktivitas fisik dengan berjalan secara rutin dan menyeimbangkan asupan zat gizi sesuai anjuran konsep gizi seimbang.

Abstract

Adolescent girls as prospective mothers have the risk of pregnancy and childbirth and are exposed to other health problems that have an impact on mental health, economic conditions and social welfare in the long term. Pandemic conditions have limited access for adolescents to health services and information, including health education. Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of educational videos on the level of knowledge and attitudes of young women about readiness to become healthy mothers-to-be. Methods: This study uses quantitative research, the type of research is quasi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test control group design, in this study using two groups. non parametric test that is Wilcoxon test. The test used was non-parametric for the two groups that were not paired, namely the Mann Whitney test. Results: there was a significant difference in the mean score of knowledge (p = 0.00001 ) and attitude (p = 0.0001) of young women in the post test - pre test measurement between treatment group and control group. There is a higher score difference for the knowledge and attitudes of young women who are given intensive counseling using educational videos in readiness to become healthy mothers-to-be. Conclusion: the knowledge and attitude scores of young women intensively using educational videos on readiness to become healthy mothers for young women were significantly higher than those who were not given intensive counseling.

Abstract

Introduction: The puerperium or puerperium is the period that occurs immediately after giving birth. The postnatal period is a critical period, known as the recovery period, which begins when the placenta is born and ends when the reproductive organs return to their pre-pregnancy state. Pregnancy and childbirth have a great impact on physical fitness. Healthy individuals with uncomplicated pregnancies may experience a prolonged decline in physical fitness. Methods: This research was conducted with a quantitative approach. The research design used was cross sectional, with primary data and a sample of 80 postpartum mothers. The analysis used is chi square and multiple logistic regression. Results: The behavior of postpartum women at the Depok Jaya Inpatient Clinic showed more than half of postpartum fitness. However, this already illustrates that postpartum mothers already have good knowledge and behavior towards efforts to improve postpartum fitness which of course cannot be separated from the support of their husbands who are the closest people to postpartum mothers. Postpartum mothers who have good knowledge have a 3 times higher chance of having good behavior towards postpartum fitness than mothers who have less knowledge, but cannot be separated from their husband's support. Conclusion: Husband's knowledge and support are two things that cannot be separated that can affect postpartum fitness in postpartum women. Health workers, especially midwives in basic services such as TPMB or Puskesmas, need to involve their husbands in providing care during the postpartum period. Recommendations for basic level services such as TPMB or Puskesmas in providing services to postpartum mothers and conducting health education, especially physical health, psychological health should involve husbands to be directly involved in improving postpartum fitness

Abstract

Pendewasaan usia perkawinan (PUP) adalah upaya untuk meningkatkan usia pada perkawinan pertama yaitu usia minimal 21 tahun bagi perempuan dan 25 tahun bagi lakilaki, dimana pada batasan usia ini dianggap sudah siap menghadapi kehidupan keluarga dari sisi kesehatan dan perkembangan emosional. Pengabdian ini dilakukan pada 150 remaja di Kelurahan Baru Kecamatan Pasar Rebo. Hasil pemeriksaan, 48% peserta memiliki status gizi gemuk dengan nilai BMI lebih dari 25,1, 31% memiliki status gizi normal, dan 21% memiliki status gizi dengan kategori kurus. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini ialah adanya kesadaran remaja akan pentingnya pendewasaan usia perkawinan, sehingga para remaja dapat mengambil sikap dalam memutuskan untuk ke jenjang pernikahan. Harapannya agar tertanam dalam jiwa remaja untuk tidak menikah diusia muda.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT. Pesat Jaya Utama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel non probability sampling, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan cara menyebar kuesioner kepada karyawan PT. Pesat Jaya Utama yang di uji menggunakan SPSS 21. Hasil dari pengujian menunjukkan jika hipotesis diterima dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 dimana lebih kecil dari 0,05. Maka motivasi kerja secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Pemilihan tempat belanja menjadi bagian yang sangat penting bagi masyarakat dalam memutuskan pembelian untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keluarganya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah pilihan tempat belanja berpengaruh terhadap kebutuhan keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan menerapkan penelitian survei, terhadap 100 warga pada 2 RT di Setu, Cipayung Jakarta Timur dengan menggunakan software statistic SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pilihan tempat belanja berpengaruh terhadap kebutuhan keluarga. Penghasilan menjadi tolak ukur bagi masyarakat dalam memilih tempat belanja.
