This research was aimed to find out the difficulties faced by students in learning of reciting Al-Quran activity, to find out the factors that cause the difficulties for students in learning of reciting Al-Quran and factors that support the students in learning of reciting Al-Quran, to find out the strategy that conducted by teacher in overcoming the learning difficulties of reciting Al-Quran of grade 3 students at MDTA Muhammadiyah Panggorengan village at year 2019/2020. this research was field research in form of qualitative descriptive. Data sources of this research were primer and seconder data. The data was collected by interviews, observation and documentation. The result of this research showed that the difficulties faced by the grade 3 students of MDTA Muhammadiyah Panggorengan village in learning of reciting Al-Quran activity was difficulty in learning about law of recitation, especially on tafkhim and tarqiq material. The causative factors of the student’s difficulties in learning of reciting Al-Quran were internal and external factor. While the supportive factors in learning of reciting Al-Quran also had internal and external factor. Teacher strategies in overcoming the student’s difficulties were (a). conducting special monitoring, (b). giving motivation, (c). direct the students. Teachers also conducted BTQ activity (recite and write Al-Quran) and literation.

The Izzur Risalah Islamic Boarding School in Sipapaga Village, Panyabungan Mandailing natal District, makes students become leaders and have religious knowledge and is able to encourage the community to improve community moral values. Izzur Risalah Islamic Boarding School, Sipapaga Village, Panyabungan District, has made various efforts to improve the moral values of the people of Sipapaga Village, Panyabungan District, including conducting recitations every night. The background of the study participants varied from the level of occupational profession, age, gender and education. Besides that, the kyai also provide encouragement and provide role models to the community in their daily behavior. Not infrequently the community consults with the kyai when there are religious problems in the community. This study aims to determine the efforts of the Izzur Risalah Islamic Boarding School in increasing the moral values of the people of Sipapaga Village, Panyabungan, Mandailing Natal district. And to find out the impact of the Izzur Risalah Islamic Boarding School in increasing the moral values of the people of Sipapaga Village, Panyabungan, Mandailing Natal district. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research sample consisted of 88 households or 15% of the entire population, using a stratified random sampling technique or random samples. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive analysis technique with percentages.

Abstract This study aims to: Knowing the application of reward and punishment, knowing about the involvement of pesantren residents in the implementation of reward and punishment awards, knowing the kinds of rewards and punishments in Ma'had Darul Ikhlash, Panyabungan. This study uses a qualitative research type. Meanwhile, in obtaining the data, the author uses the method of observation, interviews, and documentation with ustadz/ustadzah informants, dormitory teachers, OPM and students. The results of this study are: 1) Application of reward and punishment if there are students who have good morals, carry out good activities. 2) There is involvement between fellow pesantren residents in the implementation of rewards and punishments in the Ma'had Darul Ikhlash environment starting from teachers, homerooms, caregivers dormitory to the principal. 3) Various kinds of rewards and punishments given to students can be in the form of repeating lessons until they can answer questions, give warnings or advise children, do cleanliness, stand in front of the class. Suggestions for this research are: 1) There is a written order and punishment for students who violate that is placed in school. 2) Not only students, it is better as a dormitory brother to participate so that the rules run even better. 3) Researchers hope that there will be directions for students before entering the class. 4) In the teaching and learning process, teachers should be more varied in providing material related to rewards and punishments. 5) The school is expected to make a program or policy related to reward and punishment. This research is motivated by a deep need to understand the impact of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning with a multicultural perspective on harmony between students. Meanwhile, the approach in this research uses field research, which explores the influence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning with a multicultural perspective on strengthening harmony between students at SMP N. 1 Rao. Through descriptive qualitative research methods, data was obtained through participatory observation, interviews, and document analysis regarding 1) the level of students' understanding of multicultural-based PAI learning, 2) the role of teachers and students in learning, and 3) the positive and negative impacts of multicultural-based PAI learning. The research results show that multicultural-based PAI learning contributes significantly to social dynamics and relationships between students in the school environment. These findings provide in-depth insight into the role of PAI in strengthening harmony in multicultural schools, with practical implications for the development of more inclusive learning strategies.

Latar belakang masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah santri di Asrama Tahfidz H. Abdullah Musthafa Nasution Pondok Pesantren Musthafawiyah Purba Baru Mandailing Natal, menghafal Al-Qur’an dikhususkan pada kelas 1-6 (Wustha dan Ulya) saja dalam jangka 3 tahun ditargetkan selesai 30 juz. Namun tidak sedikit para santri yang belum bisa memenuhi target yang ditetapkan oleh pihak sekolah. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pelaksanaan Tahfidzul Qur’an di Asrama Tahfidz H. Abdullah Musthafa Nasution Pondok Pesantren Musthafawiyah Purba Baru, Apa saja problematika pelaksanaan tahfidzul Qur’an dan apa saja upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi problematika pelaksanaan tahfidzul Qur’an di Asrama Tahfidz H. Abdullah Musthafa Nasution Pondok Pesantren Musthafawiyah Purba Baru. Sedangkan tujuannya adalah Mengetahui pelaksaan tahfidzul Qur’an di Asrama Tahfidz H. Abdullah Musthafa Nasution Pondok Pesantren Musthafawiyah Purba Baru, mengetahui apa saja problematika pelaksanaan tahfidzul dan untuk mengetahui apa saja upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi problematika pelaksanaan tahfidzul tahfidzul Qur’an di Asrama Tahfidz H. Abdullah Musthafa Nasution Pondok Pesantren Musthafawiyah Purba Baru. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data dengan triangulasi sumber data. Teknik analisis data yakni dengan memaparkan penelitian ini apa adanya serta menarik kesimpulan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analisis.

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Peran musyrifah dalam pembinaan birrul walidain di pondok pesantren Musthafawiyah. 2) Peningkatan akhlak santriati setelah pembinaan birrul walidain di pondok pesantren Musthafawiyah. 3) Hambatan musyrifah dalam menerapkan pembinaan birrul walidain di pondok pesantren Musthafawiyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh dari kepala sekolah, pembina asrama, guru asrama dan Siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan perpanjangan keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamatan, dan triangulasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Peran musyrifah dalam pembinaan birrul walidain santriati di pondok pesantren musthafawiyah adalah guru harus berperan sebagai pengajar, guru sebagai pemimpin, guru sebagai pembimbing, guru sebagai pengatur lingkungan, guru sebagai partisipan, guru sebagai ekspeditur, guru sebagai motivator, 2) Adanya peningkatan akhlak santriati setelah pembinaan birrul walidain di pondok pesantren musthafawiyah melalui metode-metode yang sudah diterapkan, dapat dilihat dengan adanya perubahan-perubahan sikap santriati. 3) Hambatan yang dihadapi oleh musyrifah dalam pembinaan birrul walidain santriati di pondok pesantren musthafawiyah adalah santriati yang tidak mendengarkan nasehat oleh guru, didikan dari orang tua di rumah dan di lingkungan tempat tinggalnya.

This study explores the role of religious leaders in promoting Islamic education and fostering community harmony, particularly in communities where social norms and religious values are not widely upheld. As moral role models and spiritual guides, religious leaders are crucial in addressing behavioural issues and raising religious awareness within society. The research uses a quantitative approach, with simple linear regression analysis using SPSS software to examine the relationship between religious leadership and the development of Islamic education. The analysis reveals that 64.9% of the variance in the development of Islamic education can be attributed to the influence of religious leaders, while other factors influence the remaining 35.1%. These findings indicate that religious leaders can significantly impact educational outcomes through guidance and active community engagement. However, the study also highlights the need for better strategies to increase public enthusiasm for religious activities, particularly in communities that are less aware of or do not practice proper religious behaviour

This study aims to describe the implementation of a love-based curriculum in Aqidah Akhlak learning at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Mandailing Natal and to examine its impact on pedagogical relationships, learning motivation, and students’ character formation. A qualitative case study approach was employed to explore classroom practices through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the love-based curriculum is implemented through integrative learning strategies emphasizing role modeling, dialogical communication, and the internalization of compassion values. This approach contributes to a more humanistic classroom atmosphere, increased learning motivation, and the development of empathy, responsibility, and discipline among students. However, several challenges remain, including limited teacher understanding, insufficient training, and inadequate supporting facilities. These findings suggest that the love-based curriculum holds significant potential as a transformative approach for strengthening Aqidah Akhlak learning and fostering holistic character development in Islamic educational contexts.

This study aims to analyze the impact of teacher training programs on improving teaching competency in inclusive schools based on a literature review over the past ten years. The research method used library research with a literature review approach. Data sources came from articles from reputable international journals and accredited national journals for the 2015–2025 period that discussed teacher training in inclusive education. Data collection techniques were carried out through a Google Scholar search using keywords such as teacher training, inclusive education, and competency, then selected using inclusion and exclusion criteria to obtain 10 relevant articles. Data analysis techniques used thematic synthesis to identify patterns, themes, and main conclusions from various studies. The results showed that teacher training programs have a significant effect on improving pedagogical competency, learning differentiation skills, identification skills for Children with Special Needs (ABK), and the preparation of Individual Learning Programs (PPI/IEP). The most effective training model is ongoing training based on real practice through coaching, mentoring, and lesson study. Conversely, short, theory-oriented training tends to have a limited impact. The success of training is also influenced by the support of school leadership, collaboration between teachers, and the availability of infrastructure. In conclusion, teacher training is a crucial strategy for improving the quality of learning in inclusive schools. Consequently, teacher professional development policies need to be geared toward contextual, sustainable, practice-based training models supported by the school system to ensure optimal inclusive education services for all students.
