Abstract

This study examined student creativity in using audio-visual media in material presentation in class. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. It is a case study research conducted on first-semester students of the PIAUD study program at STAIN Mandailing Natal. In this study, the research data was students' usage of learning media obtained from students and lecturers. Data collection techniques involved observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the students' use of learning media increased their creativity, with the lecturers only providing themes, input, and directions. The students designed and compiled learning videos for the lecture processed their creativity, generated new ideas, and created innovation to make the learning more interesting and to add insight into science and technology. In addition, students' use of learning media increased their creativity and generated ideas on what materials to use for their videos; as a result, the media could be put to good use, and the lectures could run more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan di Kecamatan panyabungan, dengan tujuan memberikan penyuluhan kepada keluarga gterutama para ibu yang memiliki anak dari usia balita hingga 17 tahun, metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini menggunakan metode PAR, focus Group diskusi juga dilakukan untuk menunjukan adanya keterlibatan peserta dengan pemateri sehingga isi dan inti dari materi di dapatkan sevara menyeluruh. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini melibatkan 15 orang ibu yang pelaksanaannya melibatkan tiga orang pematri yang kompeten, sehingga didapatkan temuan dilapangan bahwa banyak ibu yang sudah pernah tahu akan tetapi tidak bisa menerapkan dengan sempurna apa yang mereka ketahui tentang konsep keluarga. Kedua adanya factor pernikahan dini yang dilakukan sehingga membuat komunikasi anak  dan orang tua serta anggota keluarga yang ada menjadi sedikit lebih tidak terarah dan terkesan maunya sendiri. Kesimpulan yang bisa diambil dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah; konsep keluarga akan  tercipta dengan adanya uswatun hasnah dari keluarga sebagai patron kepada anak, harus adanya kesadaran untuk terus belajar mengenai konsep keluarga untuk memberikan pembelajaran kepada anak, dan penerapan parenting education melalui penguatan prinsip komunikasi Islam akan memebrikan dampak terhadap terwujudnya keluarga yang maslahah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kegiatan yang dilakukan komite sekolah/ madrasah dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di MTs Yayasan Hutapungkut, dan untuk mengetahui keterlibatan komite sekolah/ madrasah dalam pendidikan formal dan non formal, serta untuk mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi komite sekolah/ madrasah dan cara mengatasinya dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di MTs Yayasan Hutapungkut. Kec. Kotanopan. Kegiatan komite sekolah/ madrasah antara lain sebagai: Badan pertimbangan (advisory agency), Badan pendukung (supporting agency), Badan pengawas( controling agenci), Badan perantara(mediator), keterlibatan komite sekolah madrasah dalam pendidikan formal dan non formal serta kendala dan cara mengatasinya dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat di simpulkan bahwa komite sekolah/madrasah sangat berperan penting dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di MTs Yayasan Hutapungkut.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between democratic parenting and early childhood independence in RA Roihanul Jannah Pasar Maga. The type of research used is quantitative research, quantitative methods can be interpreted as research methods based on the philosophy of positivism, used to examine certain populations or samples, data collection using research instruments, quantitative data analysis with the aim of testing predetermined hypotheses. The subjects in this study were parents of students from RA Roihanul Jannah Pasar Maga. The research techniques used were observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The results of the study can be concluded that the results of this study using a normality test with a significance result of 0.200> 0.05, it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed. Reliability test with the results of Democratic Parenting (X) data of 0.929 and Independence (Y) data of 0.877. Linearity test with a significance value of 0.144> 0.05. The correlation test of the relationship between democratic parenting and early childhood independence with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05 so that the decision is to accept the hypothesis which states that there is a significant relationship between democratic parenting and independence. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between democratic parenting and early childhood independence with a significance level of 0.001 <0.05 so the decision is to accept the hypothesis which states that there is a significant relationship between democratic parenting and independence. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara pola asuh demokratis dengan kemandirian anak usia dini di RA Roihanul Jannah Pasar Maga. Jenis penelitisn yang diginakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif, metode kuantitatif dapat diartikan sebagai metode penelitian yang berlandaskan pada filsafat positivisme, digunakan untuk meneliti populasi atau sampel tertentu, pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian, analisis data bersifat kuantitatif dengan tujuan untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah ditetapkan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua siswa dari RA Roihanul Jannah Pasar Maga. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah Observasi,Angket, dan Dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Hasil penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas dengan hasil signifikansi sebesar 0,200 > 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa data berdistribusi secara normal. Uji realibilitas dengan hasil data Pola Asuh Demokratis ( X) sebesar 0,929 dan data Kemandirian ( Y) sebesar 0,877. Uji linearitas dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,144 > 0,05. Uji Kolerasi hubungan antara pola asuh demokratis dengan kemandirian anak usia dini dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 sehingga keputusannya adalah menerima hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikansi antara pola asuh demokratis dengan kemandirian. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu terdapat hubungan pola asuh demokratis dengan kemandirian anak usia dini dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,001< 0,05 sehingga keputusannya adalah menerima hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikansi antara pola asuh demokratis dengan kemandirian. Kata Kunci: Pola Asuh Demokratis, Kemandirian Anak Usia Dini.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Islamic songs in the spiritual development of early childhood in RA Arafah Sipolu-polu, Panyabungan District, Mandailing Natal Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data used in this study include observations, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the data analysis show that Islamic songs have a role in helping early childhood in introducing the concept of divinity and religion, understanding and values of Islam, increasing love for Allah and the Messenger, getting used to worship from an early age, providing peace of mind to those who listen to it, and helping in the formation of character and morals in early childhood. Supporting factors include the active involvement of teachers and parents, the use of appropriate media, and a supportive learning environment. Conversely, inhibiting factors include a lack of support from parents, limited access to appropriate songs, and a lack of understanding of the importance of songs in early childhood learning. Islamic songs contain various spiritual values that help children understand and practice religious teachings. Some of the spiritual values contained in Islamic songs include: Faith Education, Worship Education and Moral Education

Abstract

This research explores the transformation of Islamic education in the digital era within the context of classical pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) in Mandailing Natal—namely Ma'had Darul Ikhlas, Raihanul Jannah, and Abinnur al-Islami—with a focus on the vision of “Santri 5.0.” Employing a multisite qualitative approach, the study reveals that traditional methods such as sorogan and bandongan remain dominant. However, 70-80% of santri (students) use mobile phones primarily for non-academic content, indicating cracks in the fortress of tradition. Social media emerges as a double-edged sword: 65% of santri utilize it for informal da'wah (Islamic outreach), while 40% are exposed to secular and radical narratives due to limited digital literacy. Although santri express a desire for innovation (50-60%), static curricula and institutional resistance to technology hinder integration, leaving the potential of “Santri 5.0” unfulfilled. This study concludes that without pedagogical adaptation, pesantren risk losing relevance in the global era, underscoring the urgency of developing Islamic education that is responsive to digital challenges while preserving local identity.

Abstract

Changing values and priorities in urban societies affect interest and preference for religious education, with many Tahfidz schools becoming an increasingly popular option in response to changing social, cultural, and economic dynamics. The purpose of this study is to look at the preferences of parents of urban communities in choosing schools for their children in terms of social life and the challenges they face. This research is a qualitative research, which uses a sociology approach and a historical approach as an approach to explore the phenomenon that affects the interests and preferences of parents in choosing a school for their children. The results of this study show that parents choose tahfidz schools to increase their children's religiosity, hope for blessings, and rewards of the Qur'an. Other factors such as excellent programs, facilities, and education costs, also influence their decision. The challenges that parents face are time limitations, costs, children's social adjustment, and psychological challenges.

Abstract

This study explores the role of religious leaders in promoting Islamic education and fostering community harmony, particularly in communities where social norms and religious values are not widely upheld. As moral role models and spiritual guides, religious leaders are crucial in addressing behavioural issues and raising religious awareness within society. The research uses a quantitative approach, with simple linear regression analysis using SPSS software to examine the relationship between religious leadership and the development of Islamic education. The analysis reveals that 64.9% of the variance in the development of Islamic education can be attributed to the influence of religious leaders, while other factors influence the remaining 35.1%. These findings indicate that religious leaders can significantly impact educational outcomes through guidance and active community engagement. However, the study also highlights the need for better strategies to increase public enthusiasm for religious activities, particularly in communities that are less aware of or do not practice proper religious behaviour
