Abstract

ABSTRAK Rencana strategis didasari dengan adanya ide dan inovasi strategis.Kepala bidang keperawatan sebaiknya memiliki kemampuan menyaring ide-ide strategis agar dapat diimplementasikan untuk mewujudkan tujuan organisasi. Tujuan penulisan ini untuk menganalisis konsep implementasikan rencana strategis kepala bidang keperawatan dalam menerapkan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Keperawatan (SIMK) di rumah sakit. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literature.Hasil telaah yang diperoleh yaitu dalam menjalankan peran kepemimpinan sebaiknya kepala bidang keperawatan mampu merealisasikan ide yang berfokus pada tujuan atau visi organisasi. Pengembangan ide disesuaikan dari beberapa aspek, antaralain: berfokus pada tujuan; komprehensif; oportunistik; berorientasi jangka panjang; dibangun berdasarkan masa lalu dan saat ini; dan adanya hipotesis. Merealisasikan ide menjadi tindakan nyata dapat dilakukan dengan memotivasi staf, menghargai staf dan menerapkan perencanaan strategi. Adapun rekomendasi yang disampaikan ialah kepala bidang keperawatan diharapkan mampu menyusun rencana strategi terkait pengembangan SIMK agar ide yang dituangkan dapat direalisasikan. Abstract

Professional nursing is needed to provide quality services with assertive behavior. Assertive behavior for nurses is important because nurses work always interacting with others. The purpose of this study was to describe a description of assertive behavior in hospital nursing. Research renewal can be used to optimize conflict management, assertive behavior in nursing. The method used in this study is descriptive research with survey methods. Implementation of research starts from situation analysis, problem identification, determining priority problems, making action plans, implementation, and evaluation. The study sample involved 55 nurses who were randomly selected in the inpatient room. Sample calculation uses the Rule of Thumb formula and obtained 55 nurses. The identification results showed that there were nurses who were not assertive, namely 53% of passive nurses and 25% of nurses being aggressive. Non-assertive behavior in work can cause conflicts, such as task conflicts, communication conflicts, structural conflicts, intrapersonal conflicts, and conflicts between groups. Conflict management abilities, especially assertive techniques aim to limit and avoid violence, by encouraging positive behavioral changes for the parties involved, especially assertive behavior. Conflicts that can be managed properly can have the effect of quality nursing services. The recommendations provided are able to strengthen regulations and increase conflict management knowledge, especially assertive behavior in nursing.Keywords: Assertive, Conflict Management, Nurse

Abstract

Smoking is an unhealthy lifestyle. Effects of smoking not only give the impact  to that smokers but also those near the smoker. Quitting smoking requires the support of a healthy conditions. The purpose study to determine the experience of stopping smoking to ex-smokers in the Village of Semarang Tembalang. Qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Samples carried out with a purposive method, consists of 4 participants. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews. Result showed that the smokers addicted due to smoking is something that brings pleasure because of the nicotine content. The impact of smoking is a physical disorder, social, economic and psychological. The way to to quit smoking by committing. The kind of support that obtained ex-smokers made up from external, friends and also internal, family.

Abstract

Pelayanan yang berpusat kepada pasien merupakan inti dari mutu pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit. Perawat memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga mutu kualitas asuhan pelayanan bagi pasien. Perawat Penanggung Jawab Asuhan (PPJA) harus memiliki kompetensi yang unggul agar dapat memberikan asuhan terbaik selama 24 jam bagi pasien. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan perawat tentang konsep PCC dan peran PPJA. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat antara lain metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan pemodelan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui Zoom CloudMeeting serta melibatkan 227 perawat dari beberapa rumah sakit. Melalui kegiatan abdimas ini diharapkan perawat PPJA mampu menerapkan asuhan keperawatan yang berpusat kepada pasien sehingga mutu layanan keperawatan semakin meningkat.Kata kunci: Mutu Keperawatan; Patient Centered Care; Perawat Penanggung Jawab Asuhan AbstractPatient-Centered Care (PCC) is the core of the quality of health services in hospital. Nurseshave an important role in maintaining the quality of service care for patients. Primary Nurseof care must have superior competence in order to provide the best 24 hour care for patients.This community service aims to increase nurse’s knowledge about the PCC concept and therole of Nurse in Charge. The methods used in community service include lecture, question andanswer and modelling methods. This community service though Zoom Cloud Meetings andinvolved 277 nurses from several hospital in Indonesia. Through this community serviceactivity, it is hoped that nurses will be able to implement the PCC to the patient so that thequality of nursing service will increase.Keyword: Nursing Quality; Patient-Centered Care, Primary Nurse

Abstract

The use of social media is increasing, including in the world of nursing. Nurses use social media in all domains of practice, enabling nurses to connect with colleagues and share information. Social media is also used at the organizational level and at the individual level to communicate with other nurses. The purpose of this study was to explore the experience of nurses in social media at Eka Hospital. This research is a qualitative phenomenological study conducted by in-depth interviews with eight informants obtained by purposive sampling. Transcription was analyzed using colaizzi analysis to identify categories and themes. The results of the study obtained three themes, namely, an overview of the use of social media in nurses, the advantages and disadvantages of using social media in the health sector, and ethics in using social media in the health sector. It is hoped that the results of the study will be useful for nurses to use social media appropriately.

Abstract

Conflict is a dispute both internal and external that occurs because of differences in views in an interpersonal relationship. Professional nurse is required to have expertise in conflict management, especially assertive techniques to prevent conflict and deal with conflict effectively. Assertive behavior is the ability to communicate firmly and honestly in an appropriate way so as not to hurt yourself or others. This community service aims to increase the knowledge and skills of nurses in applying conflict management and assertive technique. The implementation method consisted of a survey, PICOT analysis, and a seminar on a group of nurses. This seminar involves 75 nurse participants. The result of data analysis showed that there was an increase in the knowledge of nurses based on pre and post-test. The conclusion of this community service is the importance of practicing assertive techniques on individual nurses as the ability for conflict management in nursing services.

Abstract

The leadership style of a nurse manager has an important role in determining the performance of her staff. An effective leader can bring success in achieving the vision and mission of the hospital. The field study of leadership style in the hospital is one of the efforts to find an overview of the application of effective leadership styles. The method used was literature study which was supported by the results of visit; data collection was carried out usinginterview techniques and observation of leadership style. The results of the field study showed that there were still nurses who were not committed to the team, high workloads and head nurse’s span of control. Thus, the head nurse is required to use a combination of democratic and authoritarian leadership styles to overcome weaknesses and threats that occur in the ward.

Abstract

Perawat sebagai tenaga kesehatan yang paling terdepan dalam penanganan covid-19 berisiko tinggi tertular penyakit. Posisi ini membuat banyak perawat yang mengalami masalah kesehatan dan terpapar bahaya di tempat kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis keterjaminan kesehatan dan keselamatan diri perawat pasca pandemi melalui kajian policy brief. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain literatur review. Pendekatan menggunakan PEO. Literatur dikumpulkan dari beberapa peraturan di Indonesia dan hasil penelitian lainnya yang mengulas tentang keterjaminan kesehatan dan keselamatan diri perawat selama dan pasca pandemi. Hasil temuannya menyebutkan bahwa regulasi terkait kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja sudah tertera tetapi masih dirasa kurang tegas. Banyak pengelola fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan tidak melaksanakan kegiatan yang telah diamanahkan oleh peraturan. Disisi lain fokus penanganan masih kepada fisik belum sampai kewajiban berkala untuk mengatasi masalah psikologis perawat. Hal ini juga diperparah belum ada standar yang dibuat oleh organisasi profesi keperawatan untuk memperkuat pentingnya kepedulian pengelola untuk menjamin kesehatan dan keselamatan diri perawat. Kesimpulan dari kajian ini adalah belum optimalnya keterjaminan kesehatan dan keselamatan diri perawat selama dan pasca pandemi. Rekomendasi menjadi pertimbangan bagi pemangku kebijakan dalam menjamin kesehatan dan keselamatan diri perawat sehingga pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan tetap berjalan dengan optimal

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Shift Worker Disorder (SWD) masih menjadi masalah sampai saat ini. Perkiraan prevalensi gangguan kerja shift (SWD) bervariasi antara 5 - 35,2%. Banyak dampak yang diakibatkan oleh SWD kepada perawat.Tujuan: Penelitian bertujuan melakukan analisis tentang strategi manajemen shift work disorder (SWD) untuk perawat di rumah sakit.Metode: l Desain penelitian ini adalah systematik review menggunakan diagram alur PRISMA. Peneliti menggunakan PICOs dan mencari artikel bahasa inggris yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2018 sampai dengan Maret 2023. Database yang digunakan meliputi ProQuest, MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, PubMed, ClinicalKey Nursing, Science Direct, dan Taylor & Francis. Peneliti memanfaatkan tool Covidence untuk proses seleksi data sampai dengan ekstraksi serta menggunakan instrument the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) untuk mengevaluasi artikel.Hasil: Sepuluh artikel telah diidentifikasi dan dianalisis. Ukuran sampel dari studi dilaporkan berkisar dari 16 sampai dengan 4275 yang dilakukan di berbagai wilayah geografis. Perawat bisa melakukan manajemen stres, menerapkan sleep hygiene, dan terapi perilaku kognitif untuk mengurangi SWD. Manajemen jadwal dinas, dukungan social dan pengaturan cahaya lingkungan menjadi poin yang dapat diperhatikan di level organisasi oleh manajer rumah sakit dalam membantu mengurangi SWD.Kesimpulan: Strategi untuk manajemen SWD dapat melalui sleep hygiene, pengaturan cahaya lingkungan, terapi perilaku kognitif,  dukungan sosial, manajemen stres, dan penjadwalan dinas.
