Abstract

During the current COVID-19 pandemic, school principals need good leadership skills to master competencies as school principals in building quality education. On this basis, researchers conducted research on the Principal's Strategy in Maintaining Education Quality During the COVID 19 Pandemic at PAUD ADINDA, Tebing Tinggi City. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach, the research subject is the principal and the object of research is the quality of education, which is located in ADINDA PAUD in the road Tuanku Imam Bonjol Lk, Tambangan Hulu Village, Padang Hilir District, Tebing Tinggi City, North Sumatra. The data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis used Miles and Huberman, namely da a reduction (data reduction), data display (data presentation), and conclusion drawing/verification (drawing conclusions). The results of the study indicate that there is an awareness of the importance of the quality of education in schools during the Covid-19 pandemic, which is followed by the implementation of the various roles of school principals in maintaining the quality of education, by providing the best service to students, parents and the community.Keywords: Principal, Quality, Early Childhood Education.

Abstract

Perkembangan kognitif adalah proses dimana individu dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dalam menggunakan pengetahuanya. Perkembangan kognitif mencakup peningkatan kemampuan memahami memori. Dalam penelitian ini, peniliti menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Di TK.Anisah Rahma ini anak sudah hampir keseluruhan perkembangan kognitifnya berkembang sesuai harapan , dimana anak-anak disana sudah bisa membalas argumen yang kita berikan secara langsung, serta keberanian anak dalam melakukan sesuatu patut diacungi jempol. Ketika sedang bermain anak juga sudah bisa mengatur strategi apa yang dia gunaka untuk permainan tersebut. Dalam mengembangkan kognitif guru harus mampu meningkatkan wawasan pemikiran yang luas pada anak. Melakukan berbagai pendekatan pembelajaran sangat bermanfaat bagi guru dalam mengembangkan kognitif anak, guru dapat memberikan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak. Kata Kunci: Perkembangan Kognitif, Anak Usia Dini, Peran Guru dalam pengembangan Kognitif AUD

Abstract

The findings of this study indicate that work environment, job satisfaction, and motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on the commitment of teachers and staff at Petukangan Selatan 01 Public Elementary School. This shows that a conducive work environment, such as adequate facilities, supportive colleagues, and a comfortable atmosphere, can increase the sense of belonging and loyalty among employees. Job satisfaction, which includes aspects such as fairness in rewards, recognition of achievements, and appropriate workloads, also contributes to strengthening work commitment. In addition, motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, plays a central role in encouraging employees to perform their duties with responsibility and enthusiasm. These findings also reinforce the importance of creating a balance between external factors (such as work environment) and internal factors (such as motivation and job satisfaction) to achieve strong commitment. Therefore, the implication of this research is that school management needs to continuously improve working conditions, develop fair reward systems, and provide opportunities for career development. By doing so, the commitment of teachers and staff can be maintained and even enhanced, which in turn will support the achievement of school goals more effectively.
