Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of harokah in Islamic education which was initiated by Sayyid Qutb. By using library research method, this research produces several harokah ideas related to Islamic education. One of them is according to Sayyid Qutb, Education is the movement of one's life, every movement of one's steps is worship that must be decorated with the value of monotheism. The purpose of education also in the conception of harokah is how he becomes a servant of Abdullah and the caliph who should have the ability to become a politically literate person, which in the end also leads to an Islamic education curriculum that combines religious, social, political history and social education. Education is like harakat in ahruf hijaiyyah, sometimes it becomes fathah with firmness for a teacher, when he becomes a student let him be like harokat kasroh, be a person who is humble, and harakat dommah also directs to education it is like knowledge that must be practiced and taught in accordance with Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Sukun also refers to the meaning that sometimes to gain knowledge, we have to reflect and ask God, sukun does not mean death but is tabadulul a'mal or job change.Keywords: Sayyid Qutb, Islamic education, harakat, tabadulul a'mal.

Abstract

Many textbooks, including those for Arabic language, exhibit weaknesses in terms of language or content. Research on textbooks is extensive, especially with diverse contents. Errors in Arabic language textbooks can be attributed to linguistic issues, including errors, mistakes, and lapses. In the realm of Arabic linguistic analysis, errors can arise in areas such as syntax (nahwu), morphology (sharaf), and others, even in textbooks developed by reputable institutions that ideally should be error-free. This study aimed to calculated, explained, and analyzed the sharps of error in Arabic textbook which arose in the most crucial aspects of Arabic language. This type of research was content analysis research, which aimed to analyze more deeply the content of Arabic textbooks for the class VII in Madrasah Tsanawiyah. The method used was the study of documentation. This research was expected to contribute to improving the quality of Arabic textbooks and Arabic language education in Indonesia. The results of this research can also be used as a reference to improve the quality of writing Arabic textbooks in the future.  Conducting a feasibility analysis of Arabic language textbooks is considered essential to ensure that they meet the necessary criteria for effective learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine educational methods in the hadiths of  Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and their relevance to modern education. Using a qualitative method based on library studies and content analysis, the research finds that the hadiths contain methods of  exemplary behavior, dialogue, motivation, storytelling, and  habituation. These methods have been proven relevant for character building and improving the quality of learning. The study concludes   that the educational approach in the hadiths is practical and can be effectively integrated into contemporary educational contexts.
