Abstract

This activity aims to prevent the negative impacts that gadgets can have on children. This activity is important because many children in MIM Kupang Karangdowo, Klaten use gadgets not only to learn but to play. The implementation method for community service uses a socialization approach, namely lectures, dialogue, discussions and problem solving. The results of the implementation of PKM activities with the theme "Education: The Impact of Using Gadgets on Children at MIM Kupang Karangdowo Klaten" can be concluded that this activity was carried out well in accordance with the expected objectives. Participants came to know and understand the socialization material related to "Education: The Impact of Using Gadgets on Children at MIM Kupang Karangdowo Klaten". Abstract

A balanced diet is a combination of daily foods that contain sufficient nutrients for a child's body. A balanced diet is important to prevent nutritional problems. It involves the principles of food types, physical activity, hygiene, and maintaining normal body weight. To keep children healthy, providing them with health-promoting nutrients through a balanced diet will help them reach their maximum potential. Community service activities entitled Education on Healthy Food Giving Strategies for Children in Playgroups, Raudhatul Athfal and SDIT Darul Ulum which aims to provide education, especially about healthy food for children, participants in this community service activity are students of Playgroups, Raudhatul Athfal and SDIT Darul Ulum along with parents of new students of Playgroups, Raudhatul Athfal Darul Ulum. The educational methods used in this community service activity include socialization, lectures, questions and answers, sharing experiences, and problem solving. The results of the implementation of community service activities on "Education on Healthy Food Providing Strategies for Children in Playgroups, Raudhatul Athfal and SDIT Darul Ulum" have been implemented in accordance with the planning prepared by the community service team. Participants became aware and understood about the strategy of providing healthy food for children.

Abstract

Oral hygiene in an effort to maintain oral health is very important, problems in oral health occur due to lack of awareness in performing oral hygiene. The mouth and teeth are one of the entrances of microorganisms such as fungi, bacteria and so on which can cause health problems. This community service activity aims to increase early childhood knowledge about the practice of maintaining oral health. The method of activity that the author uses is counseling and mentoring with lecture, discussion, and demonstration methods on how to brush teeth properly and correctly. This activity was attended by 25 participants. The results of the questionnaire showed that most of the participants had not implemented good oral hygiene behavior. Participants followed this counseling with enthusiasm and the evaluation results showed that all participants understood the behavior of maintaining oral hygiene, namely knowing how to brush their teeth and how to maintain cleanliness in brushing their teeth.
