Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out what were the factors that influenced a shift in the role of meraje in the indigenous peoples of semende in dusun Pamasalak, Sinarbaru village district of Sukoharjo, district of Pringsewu. The method used in this research was descriptive method. Data collection technique used observation techniques, questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and literature. Data analysis techniques used qualitative data analysis. From this study showed that there are two factors, external factor and internal factor in the shift of meraje role. External factors were influenced by the culture of other communities either because of the intermingling between the tribe or because of the neightborhood, while the internal factors include increasing and decreasing population, education, family, development of the modern era.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pergeseran peranan Meraje dalam masyarakat adat Semende di Dusun Pamasalak Pekon Sinarbaru Kecamatan Sukoharjo Kabupaten Pringsewu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, angket, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kepustakaan. Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan analisis data kualitatif. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa factor pergeseran peranan meraje ada dua yaitu faktor ekstern dan intern. Faktor ekstern dipengaruhi oleh kebudayaan dari masyarakat lain baik karena pembauran antar Suku maupun karena lingkungan tempat tinggal, sedangkan faktor intern meliputi bertambah dan berkurangnya penduduk, pendidikan, keluarga, perkembangan zaman yang modern.Kata kunci : meraje, pergeseran, semende

Abstract

This research discusses the role of mediation models in handling conflicts between students in the school environment. Conflict between students can affect their academic and social well-being, as well as the overall climate at school. The mediation model has been identified as a potential approach to resolve such conflicts in a constructive and inclusive manner. This research involves implementing a mediation model in a school as a conflict resolution strategy. This research aims to find out how the mediation model is implemented in managing student conflicts at SMP Plus Darus Sholah Jember. This research was conducted through a qualitative descriptive approach using interview instruments, documentation and literature study. The subjects of this research were the principal and students at SMP Plus Darus Sholah Jember. The results of the research show that conflicts between students that often occur are truancy, dating, violence and bullying. The results of the mediation services carried out by the school show that there is student awareness, an attitude of peace, and the re-establishment of harmonious relationships between students and parents. The mediation service provided by the school can be said to be effective, because all parties starting from students, teachers, homeroom teachers, guidance counselors, parents and school principals participate in conflict resolution.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the main health problems faced by people around the world, including Indonesia. Hypertension is known as a "silent killer" because it often does not show symptoms until it reaches a serious stage. At the Tamansari Health Center in Tasikmalaya City, hypertension is the highest disease most suffered by the community with a total of 586 cases from January to October 2024. The high prevalence of hypertension in the Tamansari Health Center work area, a prevention and control program is needed through screening or early detection programs and counseling about hypertension. The implementation method carried out in this community service is to provide information using the lecture or counseling method. To measure public knowledge, pre-test and post-test are carried out. In addition to providing counseling, this activity also provides basic health checks. Based on the results obtained, there was a difference in the level of community knowledge before and after the provision of counseling which can be seen from the difference in the average percentage of pre-test and post-test.

Abstract

The low literacy rate of children in Indonesia demonstrates the need for strategic efforts to foster reading interest from an early age. Storytelling is an effective method for stimulating children's literacy skills, as it develops language, imagination, and moral values through a fun and communicative medium. This community service activity aims to foster a culture of literacy through mentoring storytelling activities for teachers and parents at the Al-Amin PAUD in Jurit Baru Village, Pringgasela District, East Lombok, as the implementation partner. The methods used include interactive lectures, discussions, storytelling practice, as well as mentoring and evaluation. The program was implemented in stages, starting from socializing the importance of literacy, training in storytelling techniques, providing age-appropriate reading books, and mentoring implementation in the classroom. The results of the activity showed an increase in the knowledge and skills of teachers and parents in using storytelling as a literacy medium. Children became more enthusiastic about reading, dared to tell stories, and were able to understand the content of the stories better. This activity also strengthened the relationship between teachers, parents, and children in building a culture of literacy in the school and home environment. The results of this community service confirm that storytelling is not merely entertainment, but an effective educational tool for instilling a love of literacy and character-building in children from an early age. Therefore, storytelling mentoring needs to be developed sustainably in other early childhood education institutions to create a literate generation with intelligence and character.
