Abstract

Abstract. The shift of business into the digital era demands the banking industry to innovate in serving customers. One of the innovations by PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia is the e-channel service named Brilink, which is spread across all regions. Local entrepreneurs are appointed as Brilink agents with the aim of providing banking services to individuals who are not yet served by banks, both unbanked and unbankable as stipulated in Article 16 of POJK No. 19/POJK.03/2014. Public distrust towards Brilink agents is attributed to the quality of service provided by these agents, which does not align with BRI's service standards, particularly in utilizing the Brilink application. Therefore, this research aims to examine the influence of the service quality, customer satisfaction, and trust variables on customer loyalty at Brilink agents in North Sumatra, Indonesia. This study employs a quantitative approach with a sample size of 400 respondent customers of Brilink agents. The research offers insights into the role of Brilink agents in marketing products, thus facilitating their understanding and utilization by customers. Furthermore, it holds social benefits in enhancing financial literacy and inclusion among the population in North Sumatra, ultimately contributing to welfare improvement and economic growth. Keywords: service quality, customer satisfaction, trust, customer loyalty.

Abstract

The retail sector plays a significant role and contributes greatly to the national economy. The slowdown in domestic economic growth and decreased consumer purchasing power have significantly impacted the retail business in Indonesia. This is evident from the high number of retail companies declared bankrupt and many large retail companies closing their stores. The aim of this study is to assess the health level of retail companies, determine the differences in scores among the research models, and evaluate the accuracy of the Springate, Zmijewski, Grover, and Altman models. This research is a quantitative study with a descriptive approach. The research objects are retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2019-2021. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that the highest accuracy level is achieved by the Grover model with an accuracy of 77.7%, followed by the Zmijewski model with an accuracy level of 72.2%. Meanwhile, the Springate and Altman models have the same accuracy level of 66.6%.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has heightened awareness among Indonesian citizens regarding the significance of investing. The increased market capitalization of the IHSG has contributed to enhanced stock liquidity during this period. Prospective investors assess both internal and external factors of companies to make informed investment decisions, aligning their capital allocation with the perceived potential of the target firms. The objective of this research is to empirically analyze the determinants of stock liquidity, including firm size, profitability, leverage, firm growth, inflation, and dividend policy, focusing on non-financial companies listed in Indonesia during the COVID-19 period. The empirical results indicate a negative and significant relationship between stock liquidity and company size, profitability, leverage, growth, inflation, and dividend policy among non-financial firms listed on the IDX30 for the period February to July 2023.

Abstract

The Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) serves as a key indicator of sharia-compliant stock performance on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study investigates the impact of macroeconomic factors—interest rates, exchange rates, inflation, oil prices, and gold prices—on ISSI volatility from January 2015 to December 2024. Utilizing a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis, the findings reveal that interest rates significantly negatively affect volatility (coefficient -0.509, significance 0.001), indicating that higher interest rates reduce market volatility. In contrast, the exchange rate and inflation show no significant effects (coefficients -0.308 and 0.144). World oil prices have a marginal negative impact (coefficient -0.200), while gold prices are not significant (coefficient 0.045). ANOVA results confirm that all independent variables collectively influence ISSI volatility significantly (significance 0.005). This research underscores the importance of macroeconomic factors in investment decision-making within the sharia market and suggests future studies incorporate sectoral analysis and additional control variables for deeper insights.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze non-financial factors that influence underpricing in companies conducting Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2021 to 2023. The variables analyzed include industry sector, issue size, underwriter reputation, auditor reputation, and legal consultant reputation. The research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory design and uses binary logistic regression analysis. The sample consists of 187 firms selected using purposive sampling. The results show that the underpricing phenomenon remains prevalent in Indonesia. Among the variables studied, issue size and auditor reputation have a significant influence on underpricing. These findings indicate the importance of strong market signals in reducing information asymmetry between issuers and investors. This research contributes to the IPO literature in emerging markets and provides practical implications for companies, investors, and capital market authorities.
