Abstract

Optimal employee performance is influenced by factors such as hard-skills and soft-skills. The aim of this research is to identify influence of hard-skill and soft-skills contribute achieving the performance of the Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) infrastructure project. The research method using a survey and the number of saturated samples is 57 employees of the Jakarta MRT infrastructure project (from 6 companies consortium). Technique of data analysis is using correlation, simple & multi regression with the SPSS program. The results of this study are following; 1) hard-skills partially influence significantly on the performance of the MRT infrastructure project employees, although only contributed 10% in the achievement of employee performance; 2) the mathematical model Y = 2,284 + 0364 X1 can be used to predict the performance achievement of employees infrastructure projects; 3) soft-skills in partial or simultaneal with hard-skill does not give a real influence on the achievement of employee performance of infrastructure project; 4) for more types of work relying on technic-skills related to high accuracy, the performance of its employees is more influenced by hard-skills; 5) The need to include a soft-skill that is in accordance with the hard-skills learned in the process of learning as a hidden curriculum.

The subjects in this study were the Headmaster of the Vocational High School (SMK) Bina Husada Mandiri, homeroom teacher students class Medical Laboratory Engineering (TLM) SMK Bina Husada Mandiri, parents of class XI TLM SMK Bina Husada Mandiri, students class XI TLM SMK Bina Husada Mandiri and Counseling Guidance Teachers/ Counselor. The technique of collecting data is use observing the e-counseling process, distributing questionnaires for the effectiveness of application media Zoom, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique consists of reduction, data exposure and conclusion drawing. Based on the findings from interviewing informants, observations, and distributing questionnaires, it is concluded that the e-counseling process with Zoom media in XI grade students of the Medical Laboratory Engineering at SMK Bina Husada Mandiri school. The application is carried out once a week, the duration of the counseling is 30 minutes, the Zoom application account uses a personal account. The e-counseling stage consists of three stages, namely pre-counseling (designing and scheduling Zoom), counseling (Activating Zoom room) and post-counseling (making reports and follow-up). Then the effectiveness of Zoom media as a means of E-counseling for class XI students of the Medical Laboratory Technique at the Bina Husada Mandiri Vocational School can be concluded that it is effective as a media of e-counseling, as long as the facilities and infrastructure support and the e-counseling service program implemented is group.

Abstract

The present study aims to identify the implementation of a peer-tutor method and self-efficacy towards the students’ mathematics learning outcomes. This experimental study involved two classes (each consisting of 35 students) as the research sample, which were extracted by a simple random sampling technique. Moreover, the data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, two-way ANOVA, and Tukey test. The study involved variables as follows: the peer tutor method was the experiment variable, the lecture method was the control variable, and the moderator variable was the self-efficacy indicator that was analyzed using instruments of learning outcomes test and questionnaire. The results reveal that: a) the learning outcomes of experiment class (peer tutor method) is higher than control class (lecture method); b) there is an interaction between the learning method and self-efficacy towards the learning outcomes; c) students with higher self-efficacy have higher learning results when taught by peer-tutor method compared to those who were taught by lecture method; d) for those with lower self-efficacy, both peer-tutor and lecture method generate similar learning results; e) for subjects like mathematics, peer-tutor method is suggested.

Abstract

TPACK stands for technological pedagogical content knowledge is a learning paradigm which integrates technical knowledge into content and pedagogical ideas. With education trends in the digital age heavily reliant on the incorporation of technology in the teaching and learning process, TPACK model has become a necessity for lecturers. The purpose of this study is to assess the pedagogical proficiency of UIA instructors and to offer suggestions for improvement. This study design is for a survey. The whole student body of UIA Jakarta is the target demographic. While the undergraduate students in the sixth semester make up the small population. Simple random sampling was utilized as the sample strategy. Data are collected via questionnaire, and descriptive statistics are used for analysis. The results showed that the average score of lecturers' pedagogical competency was 3.51 (excellent), and that greeting and prayer at the start and conclusion of the course received the highest score of 3.63. In order to close the accomplishment gap in learning, pedagogical proficiency is crucial. The study's implications include urging UIA lecturers to take part in Instructional Techniques Training (PEKERTI) for professional certification, incorporating the TPACK model into their instruction, and making sure that there is sufficient access to and high-quality ICT resources to support academic activities on campus.

Abstract

Study Comparative of Creative Assignments, Participatory Collaborative Learning, and Learning Satisfaction in Digital & Non-Digital Learning Media. Objectives: This study aims to comparative of creative assignments, Participatory Collaborative Learning, and learning satisfaction in Digital & Non-Digital Learning. Methods:  The study employed experimental and survey methods with a sample of seven State Aliyah Madrasah schools in East Jakarta. Each school consisted of two groups using digital learning media and two groups using non-digital media, randomly selected in the twelfth grade. Research instruments were previously tested for validity and reliability, and data analysis was conducted using the mean difference test (t-test). Findings:  The findings are: (1) The creative assignment results in the group using digital media are higher than the non-digital media. (2) The participatory-collaborative learning activity is more active in the group using non-digital media than the digital media. (3) The student learning satisfaction in the group using non-digital media is higher than the digital media. Conclusion: This indicates that both digital and non-digital learning media have their respective advantages and disadvantages. Teachers are required to design creative tasks that follow learning objectives because different learning objectives will produce different learning outcomes even though the learning media is the same. Teachers must focus on determining the learning objectives of creative assignments and selecting the appropriate media. Keywords: creative assignment, participatory collaborative learning, learning satisfaction, digital and non-digital media.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v14.i3.2024129

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discover the impact of continuous learning through strengthening competence, and innovation literacy on the improvement of performance. The research method used is a quantitative explorative technique with surveys with respondents being employees of the money management department at Bank Indonesia. The study samples are 160 out of the 272 total population, which were selected using simple random sampling. The data collection process was employed using a questionnaire. Subsequently, the data analysis process used descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression, and before the regression analysis, requirement analysis was conducted using tests of normality, heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation & multicollinearity. The findings in this study are: a) competence and innovation literacy affect the level of achievement of employee performance in Institution X; b) the correlation between competence and innovation literacy on the performance of Institution X employees shows ‘positive’ and ‘strong’; c) competence and innovation literacy contribute to the achievement of Institution X’s employee performance by 52.8%, and the remaining 47.2% by other factors; d) innovation literacy has a higher level of sensitivity in achieving Institution X employee performance compared to competence; e) the results of this study imply the need to strengthen competence and innovation literacy through a decent & effective continuous learning in organizational, and the learning model of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPCK) can be used as a continuous learning model in organizations/Institutions.
