Abstract

Penelitian ini dilator belakangi adanya penyandang tuna netra yang merasa sedih, minder perasaan tidak berharga dengan ketunanetraan yang mereka alami dan merasa tidak ada masa depan yang cerah untuknya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) Gambaran dukungan sosial pada penyandang tuna netra, (2) Gambaran kebermaknaan hidup pada penyandang tuna netra dan, (3) Hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan kebermaknaan hidup pada penyandang tuna netra. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 50 penyandang tuna netra yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan 32 partisipan. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket. Sedangkan untuk analisis data menggunakan klasifikasi persentase. Hasil penelitian tentang hubungan dukungan sosial dengan kebermaknaan hidup pada penyandang tuna netra di Panti Sosial Bina Netra “Tuah Sakato” Padang dilihat pada (1) Gambaran dukungan sosial pada penyandang tuna netra berada pada kategori tinggi, (2) Gambaran kebermaknaan hidup pada penyandang tuna netra berada pada kategori tinggi dan, (3) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan kebermaknaan hidup yang menunjukkan arah hubungan yang positif dengan koefisien sangat kuat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan peserta didik dari keluarga broken home yang cenderung mengalami kurangnya perhatian dan kasih sayang, sehingga berdampak pada tumbuh kembang, disiplin, serta motivasi berprestasi. Kondisi tersebut menuntut peran guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) dalam membimbing serta membentuk karakter peserta didik agar mampu menghadapi tantangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peran guru BK di MAN 2 Pesisir Selatan dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik broken home melalui empat aspek, yaitu sebagai pemimpin, penggagas program, fasilitator, dan konsultan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan fokus pada peran guru BK dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik broken home. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru BK memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam mendampingi peserta didik, baik melalui pemberian motivasi, dukungan emosional, maupun bimbingan berkelanjutan. Peran tersebut terbukti menumbuhkan semangat belajar, rasa percaya diri, serta meningkatkan resiliensi peserta didik, sehingga mampu meminimalisir dampak negatif broken home. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan hasilnya sebagai acuan praktis bagi guru BK dalam merancang strategi pembentukan karakter yang lebih efektif untuk mendukung peserta didik dari keluarga broken home.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of academic procrastination, which is still widely practiced by seventh grade students at SMPN 1 Ranah Batahan, such as postponing assignments, not doing homework, and submitting assignments late. The objectives of this study were to determine (1) the level of academic procrastination among students, (2) their learning outcomes, and (3) the effect of academic procrastination on learning outcomes. This study used a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression method. The population and sample in this study were 50 students (total sampling). The instrument used was a questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using percentages and simple linear regression. The results showed that (1) academic procrastination was in the high category, (2) learning outcomes (second-semester math test scores) were in the low category, and (3) there was a significant effect of academic procrastination on learning outcomes of 29.7%. This means that the higher the academic procrastination, the lower the learning outcomes. These findings provide an important basis for schools in designing strategies to reduce procrastination to improve learning outcomes. Keywords: Academic procrastination, learning outcomes, students

Abstract

This research is motivated by the limited collaboration between guidance and counseling (GC) teachers and subject teachers in addressing student bullying behavior. The objectives of this study are to describe the collaboration between GC teachers and subject teachers in overcoming student bullying behavior, reviewed from: 1) the forms of collaboration, 2) the challenges of collaboration, and 3) the effects of collaboration. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive data. Key informants in this study were a GC teacher (IAH) and a subject teacher (RP), along with three additional informants: a homeroom teacher, the vice principal for student affairs, and students. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation studies, while data analysis techniques used the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that 1) the forms of collaboration established between GC teachers and subject teachers are carried out through information exchange about students, case discussions, and the fostering of positive behavior. 2) The challenges faced include differences in perspective, lack of communication, and time constraints. 3) The effects of this collaboration are very tangible and positive, especially in improving student discipline, honesty, and responsibility. Collaboration also impacts the improvement of teacher professionalism and the overall quality of the learning environment. Based on the research results, it is recommended that GC teachers and subject teachers actively improve communication and align perspectives through routine discussions, and utilize technology for efficient information exchange to strengthen collaboration in fostering positive behavior and addressing bullying behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh maraknya perilaku bullying yang terjadi di sekolah, seperti memeras teman, berkata kotor, mengejek, hingga tindakan fisik yang menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan dalam proses belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan bimbingan kelompok dalam pencegahan perilaku bullying pada peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 27 Padang, ditinjau dari indikator bullying verbal, fisik, relasional, dan elektronik.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high number of bullying cases perpetrated by students at SMKN 3 Padang. These behaviors include teasing, calling parents names, pushing, and even physical and social violence. The purpose of this study is to describe the bullying behavior of students and to design a group guidance service model using the role-playing method to reduce this bullying behavior. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a sample of 32 grade XII AKL students. The instrument used was a questionnaire, with data analysis techniques using percentages and narratives. The results showed that bullying behavior was in the "quite high" category at 34%. The researchers developed a service model in the form of a module that includes RPL and materials that can be used by BK teachers as a guide in implementing the role-playing method to reduce bullying behavior.
