Abstract

ABSTRACT Backgorund: Gonorrhea infection in Indonesia ranks highest among all types of sexually transmitted disease.Cases of sexually transmitted Infections diseases continue to increase, the phenomenon of an increased and spreading case of sexually transmitted Infections that occur in high risk group so quickly, one of the high risk group are women sex workers. Vaginal douching increases the risk of sexually transmitted disease. Another problem that sexually transmitted infectious diseases have the potential increases the risk of HIV transmission through sexual intercourse which became a global problem. Objective: analyze the effect of sexual activity and vaginal douching with incidence of gonorrhea. Method: Observational case control starts with identifying the outcomes of case Group (women sex worker with gonorrhea) and the control group (women sex worker not infected gonorrhea). Results: The results of the multiple logistic regression statistic in the case to the control shows that the variables that influence the occurrence of gonorrhe (value of p < 0.05) on control is: how sexual intercourse with more than two categories (OR = 2.5; 95% CI = 0.8 – 5.5). Conclusion: The most influential Way sexual relationship affect the occurance of gonorrhea

Abstract

Introduction: The epicentrum of HIV / AIDS the highest in the man sex with man(MSM) followed by female sex workers (FSW). The MSM community is a community that has not yet been opened and is difficult to intervene them. Low condom use and higher MSM estimates are one of the reported increases in HIV / AIDS. Goals: the goal to identified of a sexual role, characteristic of MSM, and also discusses MSM negotiation techniques for both old and new couples. Method: this research is a quantitative study with cross sectional research taken at MSM services at Buleleng Health Center 1. The samples taken were 58 respondents with interview techniques through questionnaires, negotiations and condom use. The analysis used was univariate, bivariate and multivariate are carried out with logistic regression using software. Results: The results of this study found that the most heterosexual role was 43.1%. Effective negotiation is carried out on new partners is the risk information (AOR: 7.2 95% CI 1.2-40.3) and on old couples by direct request (AOR: 2.3 95% CI 0.2-227,9). Conclusion: condom negotiation by MSM is still very low and based on the type of partner. The new partner is more effective in the delivery of profitable information techniques while the old partner is more effective by asking directly.

Abstract

The lotus birth method of delivery is a method of delivery that does not involve clamping or cutting the umbilical cord, so the umbilical cord is left with the baby and is connected to the placenta, until the umbilical cord is dry and falls off by itself.(Sedana, 2022). This study aims to determine the clinical characteristics of pregnant women who gave birth using the lotus birth method at the Permata Bunda Maternity Clinic for the period 2012 – 2019. The location of this research is located at the Permata Bunda Maternity Clinic, Buleleng Regency, Bali Province. This type of research is descriptive observational research with a cross-sectional research design. The population used in this study were all pregnant women who gave birth using the lotus birth method at the Permata Bunda Maternity Clinic for the period June 2012 - December 2019. The sample for this study was taken using a random sampling technique that met the research inclusion criteria. The variables in this study were the patient's age, weight, gestational age, uterine fundal height, blood pressure, parity, previous delivery method, and pregnancy spacing. The data obtained will be presented using Microsoft Excel software and analyzed using the SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science) program. The data that has been collected will be processed and presented in table form. Based on the results of research conducted regarding the characteristics of pregnant women who gave birth using the lotus birth delivery method at the Permata Bunda Maternity Clinic for the period 2012-2019, the following conclusions were obtained: from the results of this study it was found that (87.9%) of the subjects of this study were aged 20-35 years , (60.6%) multigravida, (60.6%) had a pregnancy interval of more than 1 year, (100%) gave birth vaginally, had an average body weight (64.83 kg), (100%) patients gave birth at term ( term), (78.8%) uterine fundal height according to gestational age, and (100%) normal blood pressure.
