Abstract

The research is aimed to analyze the effect of design and technical quality implementation on technical and economic efficiency in the batik SMEs (small medium enterprises) in the Central Java province, Indonesia. Implementation of the technical quality is measured by process management implementation. Implementation of the design quality is measured by access to the development of the batik designs quality. The data are collected by direct interview approach to 100 manager-owners of batik business. Efisiensi teknis dan ekonomi diestimasi melalui stochastic efficiency frontier analysis. Furthermore, analysis of the implementation of design and technical quality on technical and economic efficiency uses a regression analysis with dummy variables. Competitive strategy orientation was used as the control variable. The final results are: (1) the role of entrepreneurs in the implementation of design and technical quality does significantly on technical efficiency, (2) the entrepreneurs role in the implementation of design and technical quality does significantly increase economic efficiency. The application of quality management significantly increase economic efficiency primarily in companies with focus and differentiation strategy. Economic efficiency are higher in entrepreneurial implement design and technical quality, and using focused and differentiation strategy. The conclusion this study is the design and technical quality implementation has an effect on the batik SMEs revenue efficiency.

Abstract

Work Perfomance at WFH policy of PPNPN Satker Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional Wilayah I Provinsi Jateng is greatly influenced by discipline, creativity and responsibility. The problems in this  research is to knowing the effect of discipline, creativity and responsibility at WFH Policy on Work Perfomance of PPNPN Satker Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional Wilayah I Provinsi Jateng. In this study the type of research used is explanatory research. The population referred to in this study are 134 employees. The results of a simple correlation analysis for disciplne variables on work perfomance obtained tcount 2.668, creativity on work perfomance obtained tcount 4.943 and responsibility on work perfomance obtained tcount 3.753. Based on the calculated F test obtained Fvalue 443,10. The conclusion from this research is Discipline, Creativity and Responsibility at WFH Policy have an significant effect on Work Perfomance of PPNPN Satker Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional Wilayah I Provinsi Jateng, both of partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the efficiency of corn agribusiness in Central Java Indonesia and the factors affecting it. The research method used was DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) with output-oriented assumption to measure each of the LKMA being observed. Afterwards, the researchers used Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression analysis to analyze the factors affecting the level of efficiency of the corn agribusiness. The findings show that majority of corn agribusiness is inefficient. Based on the DEA-CRS calculation, 11 (18.33%) corn agribusinesss are efficient, while based on the DEA VRS calculation, 18 (30%) corn agribusinesss are efficient. Arable land size, corn agribusiness’ experience, and land ownership status are affecting the level of efficiency.

Abstract

The establishment of BUM Desa (Badan Usaha Milik Desa - village enterprises) on the basis of the people’s initiative is needed to improve the people prosperity.Village independece will be achieved if village institutions concern on the village potential in developing enterprise through BUM Desa. The village head as the policy maker needs to expand the partnership in order to direct the business atmosphere into managerialprofessionalism and capital development. Eventually, the profit can be maxed to solve village problems.

Abstract

This research is based on the gap phenomenon encountered by researchers in the field. The purpose of the current study is to determine how much influence organizational justice and work environment have on turnover intention. This type of research is a quantitative research using a survey approach. In this study, data were collected through a questionnaire method with a sample of 356 respondents from private company employees in Bengkulu City. The results showed that organizational justice (x1) was proven to have a greater influence on turnover intention when compared to the work environment (x2), which were 22.2% and 12.4%, respectively, with a significant negative direction. The results of the regression analysis test are formulated with the equation Y = 10.480 - 0.222 (X1) - 0.124 (X2)

Abstract

The difficulty of obtaining raw materials from suppliers as a result of the covid-19 pandemic has resulted in the quality of the Ice Sibot Drink product decreasing, this has resulted in complaints from consumers. The absence of product differentiation, the taste of Ice Sibot Drinks is still less attractive to consumers. The promotions that have been carried out have not been consistent and on a large scale so that the information conveyed to consumers is not large enough. These factors were identified as the cause of the decline in sales of Ice Sibot Drinks.In this study the method used is quantitative research with the independent variables used are product quality, taste, and promotion and the dependent variable is the level of sales. The sample in this research is 100 respondents. Questionnaire data collection techniques, data analysis techniques using SPSS version 23 data processing program.Furthermore, the study found that product quality, taste, and promotion of the level of sales of Ice Sibot Drinks in Salatiga City during the covid-19 pandemic. With the value of the correlation coefficient of product quality of 0.727, taste of 0.748 and promotion of 0.753. In addition, product quality, taste, and promotion also have an influence on the level of sales as indicated by the regression coefficient value for product quality of 0.785, taste of 0.687 and promotion of 0.682. Effect of product quality, taste, and promotion together – the same effect on the level of sales is shown from the results of the determination test of 0.64.5% with a value of Fcount (60.954) > Ftable (3.09) with a significance of 0.000 which is smaller than a significance level of 0.05.

Abstract

In the village administration, village officials are assigned to provide good services to the government and the interests of the local community in the government system, however the reality is that the performance or quality of service provided by village officials in the Subdistrict is low and this is often complained by local residents because they are slow and not responsive in serving the community. The factors that affect performance are communication, education, and compensation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of communication, education, and compensation on the performance of village officials in Suruh District.The population in this study were all village officials in Suruh District, amounting to 249 people with a sample of 153 which was calculated using the Slovin formula. The technique of collecting the sample is proportionate stratified random sampling, which is done with the education strata of SD, SMP, SMA. Communication, education, and compensation together have an influence on the performance of village officials with the correlation coefficient for communication of 0.617, for education of 0.587 and compensation of 0.521, which if interpreted the tendency is included in the medium category. In addition, communication, education and compensation have an influence on the performance of village officials indicated by the regression coefficient for communication of 0.304, for education the regression coefficient is 0.279 and the compensation regression coefficient is 0.287. The effect of communication, education, and compensation jointly affects the performance of village apparatus in Suruh District as shown in the results of the determination test of 55.9% with a calculated F value of 65.169 which is greater than F table 2.67 and a significance value of 0.000 which smaller than the significance level of 0.05.

Abstract

Total Quality Management is often used as an indicator that determines the success or failure of a company within a certain period of time. The achievement of Total Quality Management at PT Sahabat Unggul International for the last seven years has not been maximized, and even tends to decrease. Factors that can affect total quality management include work discipline, commitment and individual characteristics. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline, commitment, and individual characteristics on the total quality management of PT Sahabat Unggul International. PT Sahabat Superior International has high employee delays, 46% of employees go in and out per year, and the knowledge and skills of employees are not maximized, so the total quality management at PT Sahabat Superior International is still low.The type of research used is explanatory research, so this research is associative research which aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables (Sugiyono, 2018). The variables used in this study are work discipline, commitment and individual characteristics as independent variables and total quality management as the dependent variable. The population is 800 employees with a tolerance limit of 10% according to the sample calculation in this study totaling 200 employees of PT Sahabat Unggul International. This study uses the Non Probability Sampling method (not the entire population is taken).Work discipline, commitment, and individual characteristics together affect the total quality management of PT Sahabat Unggul International employees with a correlation coefficient value of 0.735 for work discipline, 0.760 for commitment and 0.741 for individual characteristics, which if interpreted, the trend is included in strong category. Work discipline, commitment, and individual characteristics also have a positive influence on total quality management as indicated by the regression coefficient value of work discipline 0.679, commitment of 0.701, and individual characteristics of 0.657 meaning that work discipline, commitment, and individual characteristics have a positive effect on total quality management.The t-test coefficient for work discipline is 4.166, commitment is 3.697 and the individual characteristic regression coefficient is 2.899. The influence of work discipline, commitment and individual characteristics together affects the total quality management at PT Sahabat Unggul International which is shown from the results of the determination test of 63% with a calculated F value of 113.33 which is greater than F table 2.65 and significance of 0.000 which is smaller than the 0.05 level of significance.
