The research design used was a correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. Some of the elderly in Karangrejo Village, RW 01, Yosowilangun District, used a non-probability technique called Purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used is an observation sheet that is analyzed using the Spearman Rho test. The significance level for the test is 5%. The results of this study indicate that 10 respondents (21.7%) have good knowledge and fall risk prevention efforts in the category 6 respondents (13.3%). Meanwhile, we obtained the value for the Spearman-Rho correlation test. (2-side) or the value 0.001 (because the value < 0.05) then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. There is a relationship between knowledge of the elderly about osteoporosis and prevention of fall risk in Karangrejo village, RW 01, Yosowilangun district, Lumajang district, the better the elderly's knowledge about osteoporosis, the better the fall risk prevention efforts.

The purpose of analyzing the effectiveness of the management and the cabbage leaf compress against breast swelling breast care for postpartum mothers. Type quasi experimental study design with non-randomized control group pretest posttest. Engineering samples of non-probability sampling types consecutive sampling. Total sample of 15 subjects per group. Pretest and posttest with SPES checklist. The experimental group intervention breastcare and compresses cabbage leaf, breastcare intervention control group. Intervention as 2x1 for 3 days. Results of analysis difference breast swelling scores before and after treatment between the experimental group compared with the control group gained Mann Whitney test p <0.001, and the value of Z -3306, 10.60 mean rank the experimental group and the control group mean rank 20,40. conclusion No difference difference in breast swelling scores before and after treatment was statistically significant between the experimental group than the control group in which cabbage leaf compress treatment and breast care more effectively address the problem of breast engorgement for postpartum mothers than breast care treatment only.

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that can cause complications in the form of diabetic wounds. Patients with diabetic wounds require intensive care and can cause anxiety. Family support plays an important role in reducing patient anxiety. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between family support and anxiety in patients treating diabetes wounds at the Husada Jombang Clinic. This study used a cross-sectional design involving 100 patients treating diabetic wounds at the Husada Jombang Clinic. Data collection was carried out using a family support questionnaire and an anxiety questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between family support and anxiety in diabetic wound care patients (p<0.001, r=-0.657). The higher the family support, the lower the patient's anxiety level. Family support has an important role in reducing anxiety in diabetic wound care patients. Therefore, the role of the family in providing emotional, informational, instrumental and assessment support needs to be increased to help patients manage anxiety during diabetes wound care.

Postpartum hemorrhage is bleeding that is more than 500 cc that occurs after the baby is born vaginally or more than 1000 mL after an abdominal delivery. Objectives: The study's purpose is to determine whether there is a relationship between anemia in pregnancy and postpartum bleeding due to uterine atonia. Methods: The research design used cross-sectional. The population was all pregnant women with postpartum hemorrhage due to uterine atonia as many as 34 respondents, the sample was pregnant women with postpartum hemorrhage due to uterine atonia as many as 34 respondents, with a total sampling technique. The independent variable was anemia in pregnancy and the dependent variable was uterine atonia, data collection techniques using questionnaires, and data processing by editing, coding, scoring, and tabulating. Data analysis using the Chi-square test. Results: Data analysis using the Chi-square test can be found from 34 mothers giving birth at Syamrabu Bangkalan Hospital, 11 mothers with anemia in pregnancy were obtained, 45.5% experienced postpartum bleeding due to uterine atonia and 54.5% did not bleed. Meanwhile, 23 mothers did not experience anemia in pregnancy with 4.3% experiencing postpartum hemorrhage due to uterine atonia and 95.7% not experiencing postpartum hemorrhage. The results of the statistical test using there is a relationship between anemia in pregnancy and postpartum bleeding because of uterine atonia using the statistical p-value of the Chi-square p-value test < 0.05, then there is a relationship between the two variables with a p-value of 0.001 < 0.05.   Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is a relationship between anemia in pregnancy and postpartum bleeding due to uterine atonia.

Abstract

Background: Iron (Fe) is an essential micronutrient involved in hemoglobin synthesis, playing a significant role in maternal health during pregnancy. Compliance with iron tablet consumption remains a challenge, often influenced by various psychosocial factors. Among them, husband support is believed to have a strong influence on pregnant women's adherence to iron supplementation. Objectives: This study aimed to explore the meaning of husband support in enhancing pregnant women’s adherence to iron tablet consumption at BPM SM Singgosari, Jabon Village, Jombang. Methods: A qualitative phenomenological approach was employed to gain in-depth insights into the experiences of pregnant women. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving pregnant women attending antenatal care at the midwifery clinic. Thematic analysis was used to identify emerging patterns and meanings from the participants’ narratives. Results: The findings revealed that husband support not only functioned as motivational encouragement but also had emotional and social dimensions that significantly influenced the readiness of pregnant women to follow medical recommendations. Acts of support included reminding of consumption schedules, providing emotional comfort, and accompanying antenatal visits. Such involvement fostered a stronger understanding and compliance with iron supplementation. Conclusion: The study highlights the critical role of husband support in promoting iron tablet adherence among pregnant women. The findings suggest the need for health interventions that actively involve partners, emphasizing a family-based educational approach to improve maternal nutrition outcomes.

Abstract

Background: Stunting remains a major public health challenge in Indonesia, requiring active involvement of community-based human resources, including Family Assistance Teams (FATs), in supporting families at risk. However, limited nutritional knowledge among FAT members may reduce the effectiveness of stunting prevention efforts. Objective: This study aimed to examine changes in nutritional knowledge among FAT members following the implementation of a nutrition education module delivered through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) approach. Methods: A quantitative pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest–posttest design was conducted. A total of 30 FAT members were selected using simple random sampling. Participants received a structured nutrition education module facilitated through FGD sessions. Nutritional knowledge was assessed before and after the intervention using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test to evaluate differences in knowledge scores before and after the intervention. Result: The results demonstrated a statistically significant increase in nutritional knowledge scores following the FGD-based education module (p < 0.05), indicating a meaningful difference between pre-intervention and post-intervention measurements. Conclusion: The FGD-based nutrition education module was associated with improved nutritional knowledge among Family Assistance Team members. Nevertheless, given the absence of a control group, causal inferences should be interpreted with caution. Further studies employing controlled or experimental designs are recommended to confirm effectiveness and to assess the impact of improved knowledge on practical stunting prevention outcomes.
