Abstract

This study aims to describe the digital literacy level of lecturers in the Economics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Pamulang. The research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive survey approach. From 52 active lecturers, a sample of 47 was determined using the Slovin formula (5% margin of error) through proportional random sampling. The instrument was a digital literacy questionnaire covering six aspects: information and data, digital communication and collaboration, digital content creation, digital security and ethics, digital problem-solving, and digital professional engagement. Data were collected through online questionnaires, observation, unstructured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that lecturers’ digital literacy was in the high category (average score 3.70–4.66). The highest scores were found in digital tool usage and online communication, while the lowest were in advanced information literacy, digital ethics, and certain technical problem-solving skills. The study recommends continuous training to strengthen information literacy, digital ethics, and reflective skills, accompanied by qualitative evaluations to better understand differences in individual abilities.

In this study there are three independent variables, namely word of mouth, taste and product quality and one related variable, namely purchasing decisions. The population in this study were all consumers who visited and made purchases at Mixue Ice Cream & Tea. Due to the fact that the population size of this study cannot be known with certainty and there are limited time, effort and costs, an incidental sampling technique of 100 respondents was used. Data analysis was descriptive quantitative using a simple linear regression analysis formula which was processed using the SPSS 20 program. The results of this study indicate that: 1. There is a positive and significant influence between word of mouth on purchasing decisions. 2. There is a positive and significant influence between taste and purchasing decisions. 3. There is a positive and significant influence between product quality and purchasing decisions. 4.

Abstract

This study discusses how critical theory analyzes the birth of the Black Lives Matter social movement by black people in the United States. This movement stems from the long-standing anger and disappointment of black people in the United States. The peak of this racial discrimination occurred in the enforcement of law in 2013, where the perpetrator (white) was acquitted after killing two black people. Based on this incident, the BLM movement was born as a response to violence and legal inequality against black people. The Black Lives Matter movement in critical theory can be understood as the result of a normative agenda to fight for the rights of those oppressed by a hegemonic power. This study aims to provide a new perspective in analyzing the birth of social movements. Through critical theory with a qualitative approach, this study highlights the role of critical theory by focusing on how systems can create discrimination against a race and normative agendas in explaining the emergence of collective social movements. The results of this study show that discrimination against black people in the United States is not only caused by racial differences but also the result of the manifestation of a discriminatory international system. The existence of the BLM is an effort by society to break free from this discriminatory system. Keywords: Racial discrimination, critical theory, social movements, United State, Black Lives Matter.

Abstract

This study analyzes how the United Nations (UN) constructs the issue of artificial intelligence (AI) as part of international security through a constructivist approach. In recent years, AI has developed rapidly and raised global concerns regarding technological misuse, disinformation, and potential threats to political stability and human rights. This phenomenon has driven the emergence of various global governance initiatives, including discussions at the UN Summit of the Future 2025. Using qualitative methods and constructivist discourse analysis, this research examines official documents, speeches by the Secretary-General, and reports from institutions such as UNIDIR, WEF, and OECD. The analysis is conducted through three stages: description, interpretation, and explanation. The findings reveal that the concept of “AI security” does not arise naturally from the nature of the technology itself but is shaped through social processes and normative discourses among global actors. The UN acts as a norm entrepreneur promoting the values of responsible AI and collective security, while states interpret these norms according to their own identities and interests. Thus, AI security is a social construct reflecting the interaction between ideas, interests, and identities within the international system. This study contributes to the strengthening of non-traditional security studies by demonstrating how technological issues can be understood as arenas for the formation of global norms and state political identities.

Abstract

Cucumber is one of the herbal plants that contains antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that are used to overcome skin problems, so it is suitable for use in making lip balm. The purpose of this study was to obtain the results of optimization of the formulation and physical evaluation of the preparation of cucumber fruit extract lip balm (cucumic sativus l.) that meets the requirements. This type of research is experimental, with the Simplex Lattice Design approach. Then the physical evaluation test of the preparation was carried out including organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, adhesive power, and melting point. The results of the organoleptic test were bone white, peppermint oil odor, and semi-solid texture. The homogeneity test showed that there were no coarse grains. The pH test obtained results according to the requirements of 4.5 - 8. The adhesion test obtained results according to the requirements >4 seconds. And in the melting point test the results were according to the requirements of 50 -70 0 C. Analysis of SPSS 25 results using one sample t-test, obtained pH test results of 0.076, adhesion test of 0.627, and melting point test of 0.410, thus showing a value (p>0.05) which means there is no significant difference between the predicted value and the experimental results.

Abstract

This study aims to uncover the underlying narrative behind Sharia regulations, namely that regulations never stand alone but are always the result of a complex interplay between political, economic, religious, and social interests. Using library research and an interdisciplinary approach, this study makes a significant contribution to formulating a halal regulation model that can overcome the challenges of standard harmonisation, small business empowerment, consumer protection, and opening up opportunities for fairer regional and global cooperation. The results show that Sharia regulations in halal trade in Southeast Asia have created complex dynamics. On the one hand, these regulations offer significant potential for economic growth, innovation, and the strengthening of regional identity; on the other hand, they cause fragmentation, exclusion, and challenges to fairness in practice. To avoid being trapped in the logic of protectionism or narrow identity politics, countries in the region are required to reformulate the halal governance paradigm to be more collaborative, inclusive, and transparent, prioritising standard harmonisation and equal access for all business actors across religions and countries. Only through such constructive measures can Southeast Asia's halal industry develop into a global force that is not only economically beneficial but also promotes solidarity, justice, and exemplary social integration amid its diverse population.
