Abstract

At the beginning of 2020, almost all the countries are being renown in the case of Coronavirus (Covid-19), no exception to Indonesia. Indonesia is also currently facing Coronaviruses, as well as other countries. But the difference is that Indonesia is one of the countries with a lot of differences, ranging from the differentiation of tribes, cultures, races, religions, and many more. One of the ways Coronavirus prevention done by the Government of Indonesia is by issuing a new policy to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in the way of New Normal Life. Of course, there are many obstacles faced by Indonesians. One of the obstacles faced by Indonesian society is how can the people of Indonesia stay solid and together to fight the Covid-19 and run this New Normal policy. Therefore, in this program of Community Empowerment (Sepora 2020), we invite the people all to remain united with the effectiveness of differences by means of various information related to it, which aims to be united against COVID 19 and forget the difference as according to the motto of Indonesia, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.

Abstract

The gambling phenomenon has been happening for a long time. Development of science and technology causes new ways to commit crimes. One of the crimes that occur is online gambling. This can happen due to facilities and media that make it easier for people to access sites and applications that have elements of gambling. To eradicate this action, a provision that strictly prohibits the act with consequences for the violators is needed. The online gambling act not only violates Indonesia's laws, but it also violates the values and norms embraced by the community. Although it has been prohibited by Indonesian law, online gambling cases are still widely found in the community. To find out why, the sociology of law is needed to find out the relationship between law and society. Viewed from the sociology of law’s point of view, especially the effectiveness of the law according to Soerjono Soekanto, the law on conventional and online gambling are still not fully effective. This is because there are still inconsistencies between applicable laws and social values, lack of legal certainty, lack of supporting facilities for law enforcement, lack of awareness and knowledge of the law, and lack of community participation in law enforcement actions. The research method is non-doctrinal or empirical legal research method which is carried out with statute approach and sociological approach. This research aims to determine the sociology of law’s perspective on online gambling that occurs in society.

Abstract

Batam Agung Lestari atau PT. BAL merupakan perusahaan pelayanan jasa fumigasi di kota Batam yang juga menjadi mitra kegiatan PkM. Permasalahan yang ditemukan adalah tidak adanya PKWT dalam bentuk tertulis yang dibuat sebagaimana yang diatur pada Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2003 Tentang Ketenagakerjaan. Luaran dari pelaksanaan PkM ini adalah PKWT dalam bentuk tertulis yang sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku. Luaran dari kegiatan PkM ini adalah sebuah pedoman PKWT tertulis yang akan mempermudah mitra kedepannya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM ini dilakukan dengan metode yuridis empiris. Pelaksanaan PkM ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah PKWT tertulis yang sah dan dapat menjadi pedoman perancangan perjanjian kerja tertulis oleh mitra.
