Abstract

Kalembak Village located strategically on the shore of the open ocean and has open access to City Center. Marine sources are their common survival method for living. Their fishers are actively growing the family income from fishing such as fish, shells, crabs, and etc. In order for them to get customers are varied. Some of them have the ability to get tied with customers and get them to come by phone to take the morning catch, but not few have to go the extra mile to get a penny from customers. Those who go around are depending on the lucky factors through their not advance facility. Armed with a small plastic bucket to carry the fishes placed in front of their motorcycle, fishers go through the city to find those who willing to buy their catches. The writer sees this phenomenon as a constraint to fishers’ value of income. The ability to catch more than their usual actually obstructed by the fact they can only carry a small amount on a plastic bucket. Through this social empowerment program, the writer has come with the solution idea for the Kalembak fishers in order to ease their mobility service. By doing a purposive sampling on a qualitative method and observation, the writer finds the data on Kalembak fishers who need enhancement on their mobilization. For result, the Kalembak fishers get to multiply and increase their usual catch and income

Abstract

Kegiatan Pegabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap bagaimana penggunaan internet sehat dan aman sebagai investasi masa depan generasi digital indonesia. Kurangnya pemahaman mengenai penggunaan internet yang baik dapat berdampak buruk bagi generasi muda dan masa depan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, mahasiswa Universitas Internasional Batam melakukan kegiatan edukasi di Panti Asuhan GAPPI Filadelfia. Edukasi ini berfokus pada dampak penggunaan internet buruk, manfaat dari penggunaan internet sehat, serta solusi yang dapat mencegah penggunaan internet buruk. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan generasi muda akan dapat menggunakan internet dengan bijak demi masa depan generasi digital yang baik.

Abstract

Literasi keuangan adalah kemampuan penting yang perlu dimiliki oleh tiap individu sejak dini. Pemahaman dasar mengenai pengelolaan keuangan dapat membentuk kebiasaan yang lebih bijak dan bertanggung jawab dalam mengatur keuangan pribadi, khususnya dalam hal menabung, membedakan kebutuhan dan keinginan, serta membuat keputusan finansial yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa Universitas Internasional Batam bekerja sama dengan pihak Panti Asuhan Al-Riskullah di Batam menyelenggarakan kegiatan bakti sosial berupa edukasi literasi keuangan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga diikuti dengan penyuluhan dan penyaluran bantuan sembako sebagai bentuk kepedulian sosial. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman dasar mengenai keuangan serta menumbuhkan semangat hidup mandiri dan bertanggung jawab sejak dini bagi anak-anak panti. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, para mahasiswa berhasil memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Panti Asuhan Al-Riskullah, khususnya terkait tingginya biaya hidup saat ini. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan dampak positif bagi anak-anak panti dalam memahami pentingnya mengelola keuangan secara bijak. Dengan demikian, kunjungan ke Panti Asuhan Al-Riskullah dapat disimpulkan sebagai kegiatan yang sukses dan memberikan manfaat nyata bagi seluruh pihak yang terlibat.
