<![CDATA[The transition between terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems has been known as Riparian Zone. The riparian zone is where generally water flows rarely stagnant, which river is an intermediate plateu. Conversely, rivers, stream or lakes water flows can be stagnant in common situation. Svejcar in his article stated that as transition, riparian zone tends to have characteristics of both upland and aquatics ecosystems. Water contamination brings the effect on reforming the environment degradation whether they are directly or indirectly discharged into water bodies without adequate treatment. Various notable water rehabilitation projects in leading countries led to their substantial economic returns for many aspects by the government-led initiatives. Nature-inclusive solution has been heavily concerned for the mega projects. In which ecological landscape design can provide the ecosystem services to balance the engineering driven restoration projects. To include, the best practice management requires extended understanding of the pattern in order to allow optimum evaluation of the process relationship. This research is conducted by an explanatory method where writer observe the relevant writings and theory to evaluate riparian areas with support on both primary and secondary data. A comparison table has been conducted to determine the most optimum approach has done by three different cities in two big countries. They are Siak River, Riau, Indonesia between Citarum River in Bandung and Yangtze River in China. This comparison will explain the elements observe among the three rivers and follow by the explanatory theory that has been conducted, a best practice management for landscape design to be evaluate.]]>

<![CDATA[Ruang luar dalam sebuah rumah melayu merupakan salah satu unsur penting dalam perancangan ketika melihat aktivitas orang melayu yang banyak menghabiskan waktu nya di luar rumah. Orientasi rumah melayu pesisir memiliki ruang luar yang berbeda dengan orientasi rumah melayu yang berada di daratan. Aktivitas dan mata pencaharian utama orang melayu pesisir merupakan nelayan sehingga orientasi ruang luar bangunan rumah melayu pesisir beralih fungsi menjadi dek perkapalan yang menjadi unsur utama penunjang aktivitas mereka sehari-hari. Jenis-jenis tipologi rumah melayu pesisir pun berpengaruh berdasarkan orientasi ruang luar dan arah fasad. Rumah pesisir yang terletak diatas darat dan rumah pesisir yang terletak diatas laut memiliki perbedaan fungsi utama pada ruang luarnya. Penulis akan mengidentifikasi perbedaan unsur yang terdapat dari beberapa sampel rumah yang sudah di teliti di daerah kampong tua melayu pesisir Tanjung Riau, Batam. Meskipun dampak urbanisasi terlihat cukup signifikan di kawasan ini, masih ditemukan beberapa rumah yang mempertahankan ciri has bangunan Melayu. Terdapat 5 sampel rumah yang masih meninggalkan ciri khas rumah melayu terlihat dari aktivitas pemilik rumah yang meletakkan unsur ruang luar sebagai sarana utama penunjang mata pencaharian mereka. Penelitian ini merupakan identifikasi ruang luar kawasan rumah melayu pesisir yang sudah terdampak urbanisasi. Sehingga pada hasilnya, banyak rumah yang sudah kehilangan ciri khas melayu namun masih terlihat fungsi utama ruang luarnya berdasarkan aktivitas dan mata pencaharian masyarakatnya. Arahan desain yang disarankan adalah dengan memperluas area dek dikarenakan masih tersedianya area kosong untuk memberi keleluasaan bagi pemilik untuk dapat beraktivitas lebih efektif.]]>

<![CDATA[Majunya pembangunan di Batam mengakibatkan menipisnya area hijau dan area publik yang dapat dialokasikan sebagai tempat bermain anak-anak, sehingga pembentukan suatu indoor playground menjadi jawaban atas permasalahan tersebut. Perkembangan industri di Batam juga membuat kesehatan udara terancam, karena itu diperlukan penggunaan bahan bangunan yang tidak memperburuk keadaan lingkungan, namun berperan baik bagi pengguna juga lingkungan di sekitarnya. Biochar, bahan yang dinilai sebagai bahan baik untuk lingkungan, ditelilti untuk menjadi campuran material bangunan. Melalui studi literatur dari berbagai sumber terkait penggunaan dan uji biochar khususnya pengaplikasiannya pada bahan bangunan, didapatkan berbagai bukti yang mendukung digunakannya biochar menjadi campuran bahan bangunan yang tepat untuk desain perancangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini kelak akan menunjukkan bahwa pengaplikasian biochar sebagai campuran bahan bangunan pada konsep perancangan suatu green indoor playground yang memiliki konsep green architecture dan sustainable dapat terbukti baik bagi pengguna dan lingkungan di Batam.]]>

<![CDATA[Due to the pandemic COVID-19, the government made a regulation called lockdown. This aims to decrease the spreading of COVID-19. Since lockdown had started, people felt so bored where stayed at home for a quiet long period. As a consequence, we realized that people need to go on holiday. We tried to solve the problem by making a virtual tour video. In this case, a virtual tour video is a video recording in which the content is about the tourist attraction that could be watched by viewers. The methods which relevant we used are interview and observation. After doing the survey, we found that the interviewers had pretty satisfied with the video. The implication of the next survey is to increase the virtual tour video’s quality.]]>

<![CDATA[COVID-19 has a real impact on the Indonesian economy, this makes it difficult to meet daily needs, especially for the lower middle class. In the midst of the difficulty of finding income to meet daily needs, the sense of humanity in Indonesia actually looks fading. The online motorcycle taxi prank is real proof that human values in Indonesia have started to cause concern. Difficult to meet the needs of life that depends on orders from the paracustomer at this time COVID19, it was made worse by the actions of prank deliberately carried out by the customers. This research was conducted to overcome this. Campaigns related to the socialization of invitations to eliminate the presence of prank on online motorcycle taxi through videos and also posters that are inviting are prototypes used to solve problems. This socialization is intended to help rebuild human values in Indonesia from a scope that is not realized by many people. Through this activity, it is hoped that it can help the creation of humanity's value again in Indonesia, specifically helping to create mutual understanding between online motorcycle taxis and customers.]]>

Therefore we agreed to Society Empowerment Program (SEPORA) project for neglected children by making a children's learning magazine that can be consumed at any time, of course, packaged with as attractive as possible. The children’s learning magazine called Nusantara, with the content about nationalism. Hopefully that they will be helped with literacy access and of course hopefully they will be motivated by the contents of the magazine.]]>

<![CDATA[Kalembak Village located strategically on the shore of the open ocean and has open access to City Center. Marine sources are their common survival method for living. Their fishers are actively growing the family income from fishing such as fish, shells, crabs, and etc. In order for them to get customers are varied. Some of them have the ability to get tied with customers and get them to come by phone to take the morning catch, but not few have to go the extra mile to get a penny from customers. Those who go around are depending on the lucky factors through their not advance facility. Armed with a small plastic bucket to carry the fishes placed in front of their motorcycle, fishers go through the city to find those who willing to buy their catches. The writer sees this phenomenon as a constraint to fishers’ value of income. The ability to catch more than their usual actually obstructed by the fact they can only carry a small amount on a plastic bucket. Through this social empowerment program, the writer has come with the solution idea for the Kalembak fishers in order to ease their mobility service. By doing a purposive sampling on a qualitative method and observation, the writer finds the data on Kalembak fishers who need enhancement on their mobilization. For result, the Kalembak fishers get to multiply and increase their usual catch and income]]>

<![CDATA[Masa pandemi COVID-19 membuat banyak orang memutuskan untuk menjalankan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) secara online. Begitu pula untuk mempromosikan UMKM yang dijalankan. Rata-rata UMKM memutuskan untuk membuat video promosi, salah satu UMKM tersebut adalah Kummi Bolen. Kegiatan PkM ini memiliki tujuan untuk membantu UMKM mitra dalam mempromosikan UMKM mitra dengan membuat video promosi yang akan diunggah ke media sosial pihak UMKM mitra. Pengeditan video promosi nantinya akan dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi Adobe Premiere Pro dan Wondershare Filmora 10. Tidak hanya itu, beberapa saran dan edukasi untuk terus melakukan promosi secara rutin juga diberikan agar pihak mitra dapat melakukan promosi secara mandiri tanpa bantuan pihak luar dan diharapkan tetap dapat digunakan untuk sekarang dan juga untuk masa yang akan datang]]>

<![CDATA[Covid-19 is a new type of virus that has hit countries around the world. Therefore, to combat this pandemic, it is health workers who have a major role in combating the spread of this virus. So this review was conducted to sensitize the public to help health workers in maintaining personal health and encouragement to eliminate negative views for health workers by interviewing and distributing questionnaires to collect data, which will then be processed and will be presented in the form of videos as a result of the project. Through the video will contain true, proper, and important information with moving animation which can attract everyone's attention. Through this video, people will know the importance of self-awareness on health that will have an impact on those around them and health workers at the time of this Covid-19 pandemic.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini merupakan suatu kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meneliti bagaimana cara meningkatkan marketing dari OIS Coffee yang merupakan café dari mitra kami, dan juga mempromosikan OIS Coffee yang baru saja buka 2020 lalu. Karena adanya COVID-19 dan diberlakukannya PPKM di semua daerah, membuat pasar coffee shop menjadi terkena imbasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan OIS Coffee kepada masyarakat dan meningkatkan kinerja baik dalam hal pelayanan terhadap konsumen, menerapkan secara ketat protokol kesehatan serta memanfaatkan teknologi sosial media untuk memperluas lingkup cangkupan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti ialah metode wawancara dan metode observasi, alasan peneliti memilih metode ini dikarenakan peneliti akan terjun secara langsung ke mitra untuk mengamati masalah yang timbul di mitra serta mewawancarai pihak atau pemilik mitra, ini dinilai lebih efektif dalam mencari informasi serta memudahkan peneliti dalam pengambilan keputusan kegiatan apa yang akan dilakukan peneliti untuk membantu mitra yang peneliti pilih.
