Abstract

Kemiskinan merupakan isu nomor satu dalam agenda pembangunan berkelanjutan PBB (Sustainable Development Goals). Masih adanya pekerja anak di Indonesia dapat menjadi indikator bahwa kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia masih kurang sejahtera sehingga fenomena pekerja anak di bawah umur masih dapat ditemui. Salah satunya adalah di kawasan industri sepatu Cibaduyut, sering ditemukan pekerja anak yang disebabkan oleh kondisi perekonomian keluarga yang tidak baik. Tujuan dari penulisan jurnal ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana peran dari Save the Children sebagai salah satu organisasi internasional yang bergerak di bidang pemerolehan hak dan perlindungan anak dalam kasus pekerja anak di kawasan industri sepatu Cibaduyut. Di mata dunia, fenomena pekerja anak di bawah umur menjadi sorotan karena tidak sesuai dengan hak – hak anak yang seharusnya mereka dapatkan. Save the Children berperan melalui kerja sama dengan pemerintah dalam membantu pekerja anak yang ada di Indonesia untuk memenuhi hak–hak yang seharusnya diperoleh oleh mereka. Selain itu melalui kampanye dengan menyuarakan hak–hak anak menjadi salah satu cara mereka dalam menyadarkan pentingnya anak–anak untuk memperoleh pendidikan yang layak bagi mereka semua. Peran yang dilakukan Save the Children tidak efektif dalam memberhentikan pekerja anak, namun membantu dalam pemerolehan hak-hak anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data yang kemudian dijadikan sebagai dasar dari pembahasan serta teori yang digunakan.

Abstract

Foreign policy stated by Indonesia related to the Republic ofVanuatu support for the Indenpendence of West Papua does not happennaturally. It is influenced by the facts and values that are had by theIndonesia that led to the perception and influences the decision ofmaking process. Indonesia stated that West Papua is a part of therepublic of Indonesia. Therefore, Indonesia states a foreign policy ofRepublic of Vanuatu regarding the support for the independence ofWest Papua. The result of this research indicates that there are someforeign policies of Indonesia against the Republic Vanuatu support forthe Independence of West Papua based on set of orientation, set ofcommitments and a group of behavior action. This research usesrealism approach, the concept of international politics, the concept offoreign policy, the concept of power, the concept of national interest, andthe concept of sovereignty that can explain the foreign policy ofIndonesia against the Republic Vanuatu support for the independenceof West Papua 2015-2016

Abstract

The impact of this terrorism incident has been felt by Indonesia and Australia. Although Australia has never experienced direct terrorist attacks in the country, Australia as an ally of the United States is trying to tighten the country's security. Australia and Indonesia are committed to fighting against terrorism explicitly through bilateral anti-terrorism agreements and cooperation. This is strengthened after the Bali bomb attacks I and II that cause casualties Australians. So in addition to the close georgraphical reasons between the two countries, Australia considers Indonesia as a strategic partner to maintain security. With the Lombok agreement in 2006 the beginning of the intensity of cooperation between Indonesia and Australia in combating terrorism. This is enhanced by continued agreements that are continually renewed by both countries. But along with the development of the era of globalization, the effort raises a variety of challenges that can then be analyzed, so that can implement efforts to combat terrorism will be the maximum amid the challenges and obstacles encountered until 2016.

Abstract

In accordance with Law no.37 of 1999 on foreign relations and law no.32 of 2004 on regional government further strengthen the position of local government to conduct an external relationship in an effort to build its own region. The purpose of this study is to describe more deeply about the cooperation of sister city Bandung city government in improving the creative economy industry in Bandung City and Petaling Jaya City, Malaysia with the program "Little Bandung" owned by the government of Bandung. In order to face the existence of ASEAN Economic Community (MEA). This study uses the approach of liberalism, the concept of creative economy, sister city, paradiplomasi and the theory of international cooperation. So as to illustrate the process of foreign cooperation implemented by the Government of Bandung. This research is descriptive and data collection technique through interview and literature study. In this study it can be concluded that with the existence of law no.37 of 1999 on foreign relations and law no.32 of 2004 on local government, a benchmark on each local government to build and develop its own region through an outside relationship Country in the form of cooperation among local governments apart from the central government.

Abstract

Public Diplomacy for a country is an important tool. This study aims to analyze the public diplomacy strategy carried out by Indonesia as a response to the Global War on Terror (GWOT) policy carried out by America after the events of September 11, 2001. Public diplomacy carried out by Indonesia through the Bali Democracy Forum (BDF) is growing. Every year the number of participating countries participating in the BDF continues to increase. Indonesia must be able to take advantage of this momentum and formulate an increasingly comprehensive public diplomacy strategy in order to improve Indonesia's self- image in the eyes of the international community. This study uses qualitative research methods with descriptive research types and secondary data collection through literature studies, such as books, journals, e-books, e- journals, and other internet sources such as from government agencies, ministries, embassies of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) and portals. online news
