Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of competence, independence, interest and discipline individually or jointly on the work readiness of vocational school students in West Lombok District. The population of this study was the students of Agro Business Competencies in Agricultural Product Processing Vocational High School in West Lombok Regency, with a sample of 67 students. Data collection uses a Likert scale questionnaire and five alternative answers. Data of all variables were analyzed with descriptive statistics with an average value of students' work readiness of 82.5%. The effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable was analyzed by partial correlation statistics and multiple regression analysis. The interpretation of the results of data analysis uses a significant level of 5% or 0.05. The results showed a very significant influence between competence, independence, interest and discipline on the work readiness of vocational students in West Lombok district with a significance value of 0,000 and a coefficient of determination of 0.462 or 46.2% meaning together the contribution of all the independent variable to the dependent variable is the remaining 46.2% of 53.8% by variables and other factors outside this study that were not explained by the researcher.Vocational School, Competence, Independence, Interest, Discipline, Work Readiness.

Abstract

Data analysis skills are very important and needed in various sectors, both in education and the professional world. However, many students face challenges in mastering fairly complex data analysis techniques. One method that is increasingly popular in assisting the learning process is the use of E-Modules. These E-modules provide opportunities for students to learn in a structured and flexible way, and allow the material to be tailored to their individual needs. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of E-Modules in improving students' ability to analyze data. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach and collects data through pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The data obtained were then analyzed using a t-test for two paired samples (paired t-test). The paired T-test is used to measure significant changes in students' data analysis skills as seen from the comparison of pre-test and post-test scores. The results of the study indicate that the use of flipbook-based E-modules has proven effective in improving students' data analysis skills. This is evidenced by the results of the paired t-test which shows a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, indicating a significant change in the pre-test and post-test results. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of flipbook-based E-modules has a significant influence on improving students' data analysis skills.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology requires education systems to adapt by integrating new competencies such as coding and artificial intelligence (AI) into primary and lower secondary school curricula. In response, the Indonesian government introduced the Merdeka Curriculum, which includes coding and AI as elective subjects. However, the extent to which schools are prepared to implement this policy remains a critical issue. This study aims to analyze school readiness using a narrative literature review approach by examining research findings, policy documents, and academic sources published between 2019 and 2025. The analysis focuses on three key areas: digital infrastructure, curriculum integration, and teaching strategies. Findings reveal significant challenges, including infrastructure gaps, lack of standardized curriculum guidelines, and limited teacher competence in technological and pedagogical integration. The study recommends more operational policy support, teacher training based on the TPACK framework, and equitable infrastructure development to ensure the digital transformation of education is both effective and inclusive.
