Abstract

Aims: This study aimed to determine the effect of internet-based education to improve knowledge and practice toward COVID-19 prevention among community volunteer in Indonesia. Design: This study is a quantitative study using the queasy-experimental two group pre-posttest design. Methods: The intervention in the form of internet-based education was offered to respondents in 5 sessions (45 minutes each meeting) in 3 weeks in the form of discussions utilizing power points and applications regarding COVID-19 prevention. the respondents are those who meet the inclusion criteria during the study: age over 18 years old, able to communicate well, not have visual and hearing impairment, can read and write, willing to be involved in research, and have access to android gadgets. Results: The number of samples in this study were 150 respondents consisting of 84 respondents (56.4) male and 66 respondents (44.0) female. Of these 150 respondents, 75 respondents were in the intervention group and 75 respondents were in the control group. COVID prevention knowledge before and after the internet-based education intervention increased significantly from 2.02 (SD=1.25) 2 to 3.45 (SD=1.31) with a t-value of 6.22 and a p-value of 0.000. In the scores of COVID-19 prevention practice, it was found that the intervention group data showed a significant Increased from 2.57 (SD = 0.98) to 3.13 (SD = 2.34) with a p-value of 0.000. Conclusions: This study found the significant improvement of knowledge and practice toward COVID-19 prevention using an internet-based education.

Abstract

Abstrak Wajah adalah salah satu parameter fisiologi yang umum digunakan untuk membangun suatu sistem keamanan berbasis biometrik. Pengenalan wajah (Face Recognition) adalah salah satu teknik identifikasi biometrik dengan menggunakan wajah sebagai parameter utamanya. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengembangan sistem keamanan ruang berbasis pengenalan wajah menggunakan alat pendeteksi wajah ESP32CAM, yang merupakan modul kamera dan dilengkapi dengan wifi serta bluetooth. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen, dengan melakukan perekaman terhadap beberapa sampel wajah, menguji posisi deteksi wajah, serta mengukur jarak deteksi alat. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan lima sampel wajah menunjukkan bahwa rentang jarak deteksi alat adalah 8-24 cm. Alat dapat mengenali wajah dengan posisi lurus mengarah ke kamera. Kata-kata kunci: biometrik, pengenalan wajah, ESP32CAM, jarak deteksi Abstract Face is one of the physiological parameters commonly used to build a biometric-based security system. Face recognition is one of the biometric identification techniques using the face as its main parameter. In this study, the development of a facial recognition-based space security system was carried out using the ESP32CAM face detection tool, which is a camera module and is equipped with wifi and bluetooth. The method used is an experiment, by recording several face samples, testing the position of the face detection, as well as measuring the detection distance of the tool. The results of the study using five face samples showed that the range of the detection distance of the tool was 8-24 cm. The tool can recognize faces with a straight position pointing at the camera. Abstract

Posyandu is one of the social institutions that plays a role in the community participation approach in the health sector. The quality and effectiveness of Posyandu depend on the role of Posyandu cadres. Posyandu cadres of Kemala Bhayangkari still use a manual approach in collecting data on toddler development. Using manual methods creates the potential for data errors, loss of information, and difficulties in accessing data. Through the Community Service Program of 2023, the smart sensing device has been developed using sensors system that is integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT). Furthermore, there is a Posyandu service website containing information about available services and data on the growth and development of toddlers. The success of implementing activities is assessed by participants through a questionnaire. The results achieved from this program show that the quality of the device, website and database system is very good (96%); the system is able to improve the quality of posyandu services, especially in the context of recording and reporting growth and development data at Posyandu Kemala Bhayangkari Ciracas (93%); and the need for posyandu cadres assistance and continuity of activities (93%). Abstrak Posyandu merupakan salah satu pranata sosial yang berperan dalam pendekatan partisipasi masyarakat di bidang kesehatan. Kualitas dan efektivitas Posyandu bergantung pada peran kader Posyandu. Kader Posyandu Kemala Bhayangkari masih menggunakan pendekatan manual dalam pendataan perkembangan balita. Penggunaan metode manual menimbulkan potensi kesalahan data, kehilangan informasi, dan kesulitan dalam mengakses data. Pada Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Terintegrasi Kuliah Kerja Nyata (PKM-KKN) tahun 2023, telah dikembangkan alat sensor cerdas menggunakan sistem sensor yang terintegrasi dengan Internet of Things (IoT). Selain itu, terdapat situs web layanan Posyandu berisi informasi seputar layanan yang tersedia dan data tumbuh kembang balita. Keberhasilan pelaksanaan kegiatan dinilai oleh peserta melalui kuisioner. Hasil yang dicapai dari program ini menunjukan bahwa kualitas alat, situs web, dan sistem database yang dikembangkan sangat baik (96 %); sistem yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan mutu layanan posyandu khususnya dalam rangka pencatatan dan pelaporan data tumbuh kembang di Posyandu Kemala Bhayangkari Ciracas (93 %); dan perlu adanya keberlanjutan kegiatan (93%).

Abstract

Abstrak Getaran pada mesin biasanya tidak dapat dicegah atau dihindari. Getaran yang semakin besar dan tidak dimonitoring akan menyebabkan kemungkinan terjadinya kerusakan fatal pada mesin. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan sistem pengukuran getaran pada mesin menggunakan sensor piezoelektrik LDT0-028K. Dalam penggunaannya, sensor perlu dilakukan karakterisasi sebelum digunakan. Tujuan karakterisasi sensor piezoelektrik LDT0-028K yaitu untuk mengetahui keakuratan nilai frekuensi yang terukur oleh sensor. Dalam proses karakterisasi digunakan kalibrator sebagai penghasil getaran dengan frekuensi yang dapat dikontrol. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengkarakterisasi sensor piezoelektrik LDT0-028K yaitu dengan cara membandingkan hasil pengukuran sensor dengan alat standar Tachometer. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba, sensor piezoelektrik LDT0-028K memiliki kesalahan relatif pengukuran rata-rata sebesar 0,67% dan dapat bekerja dengan baik pada rentang frekuensi 13,53 Hz sampai dengan 59,57 Hz. Selanjutnya, sensor akan digunakan untuk pengembangan sistem pengukuran dan monitoring getaran pada mesin berbasis IoT (Internet of Things). Vibrations that are getting bigger and not monitored will cause the possibility of fatal damage to the machine. In this research, a vibration measurement system was designed on a machine using a piezoelectric sensor LDT0-028K. In use, the sensor needs to be characterized before use. The purpose of characterizing the LDT0-028K piezoelectric sensor is to determine the accuracy of the frequency value measured by the sensor. In the characterization process, a calibrator is used as a vibration generator with controllable frequency. The method used in characterizing the LDT0-028K piezoelectric sensor is by comparing the measurement results of the sensor with a standard tachometer. Based on the test results, the LDT0-028K piezoelectric sensor has an average relative measurement error of 0.67% and can work well in the frequency range of 13.53 Hz to 59.57 Hz. Furthermore, the sensor will be used for the development of a vibration measurement and monitoring system on IoT (Internet of Things) based machines. Abstract

Abstrak Salah satu langkah yang dapat dilakukan untuk meminimalisir kecelakaan kerja yaitu menerapkan sistem keamanan pada pintu masuk wilayah kerja. Sistem keamanan yang umum digunakan adalah teknologi biometrik dengan wajah sebagai parameternya. Selain itu, pada kondisi pasca pandemi COVID-19, sistem keamanan juga ditunjang dengan proses pengecekan suhu tubuh. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan proses karakterisasi ESP32 Camera untuk mendeteksi biometrik wajah dan sensor MLX90614-DCI untuk pengecekan suhu tubuh menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino UNO. Proses karakterisasi ESP32 Camera bertujuan untuk menentukan rentang jarak dan posisi wajah yang dapat dideteksi modul kamera. Selain itu, dilakukan juga karakterisasi sensor MLX90614-DCI dengan cara membandingkan hasil keluaran sensor suhu dengan alat ukur standar berupa thermogun. Proses tersebut bertujuan untuk mengetahui jarak optimal dan keakuratan dari sensor. Berdasarkan hasil karakterisasi, rentang jarak deteksi ESP32 Camera adalah 5 hingga 20 cm dimana kamera dapat mengenali wajah apabila posisi bagian wajah yang terlihat sebesar 90% hingga 100%. Sedangkan, hasil karakterisasi sensor MLX90614-DCI menunjukkan bahwa jarak optimal pengukuran sensor adalah 14 cm. Pada jarak tersebut, pengukuran suhu dengan rentang 35°C hingga 41°C menghasilkan rata-rata kesalahan relatif sebesar 0.15%. Data hasil karakterisasi ini akan digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem pengendali pintu otomatis berdasarkan pengenalan wajah dan suhu tubuh. Abstract One of the steps that can be taken to minimize work accidents is to implement a security system at the entrance to the work area. The commonly used security system is biometric technology with face as its parameter. In addition, in post-COVID-19 pandemic conditions, the security system is also supported by the process of checking body temperature. In this research, the ESP32 Camera characterization process is carried out to detect facial biometrics and the MLX90614-DCI sensor for checking body temperature using an Arduino UNO microcontroller. The ESP32 Camera characterization process aims to determine the range of distances and face positions that can be detected by the camera module. In addition, the characterization of the MLX90614-DCI sensor is also carried out by comparing the output results of the temperature sensor with a standard measuring instrument, a thermogun. The process aims to determine the optimal distance and accuracy of the sensor. Based on the characterization results, the ESP32 Camera detection distance range is 5 to 20 cm where the camera can recognize faces if the position of the visible part of the face is 90% to 100%. Meanwhile, the MLX90614-DCI sensor characterization results show that the optimal distance for sensor measurement is 14 cm. At 14 cm, temperature measurements with a range of 35°C to 41°C produce an average relative error of 0.15%. This characterization data will be used in the development of an automatic door control system based on face recognition and body temperature. Abstract

Abstrak Monitoring temperatur pada mesin dapat digunakan untuk pencegahan kondisi overheating. Untuk melakukan monitoring temperatur mesin, dibutuhkan suatu sistem pengukuran temperatur. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan perancangan sistem pengukuran temperatur pada mesin menggunakan sensor kamera termal AMG8833. Namun dalam penggunaanya, setiap sensor harus dikarakterisasi terlebih dahulu sebelum digunakan. Tujuan karakterisasi pada sensor kamera termal AMG8833 agar dapat diketahui jarak pengukuran optimal, rentang kerja, dan keakuratan dalam pengukuran temperatur. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengkarakterisasi sensor kamera termal AMG8833 yaitu membandingkan langsung nilai yang terbaca pada sensor dengan nilai yang terbaca pada termogun industri. Hasil pengukuran jarak optimal menunjukan bahwa sensor mampu bekerja optimal pada jarak 3 cm. Sedangkan hasil uji coba sensor pada rentang 32,50˚C hingga 65,70˚C memiliki rata-rata error relatif pengukuran sebesar 0,12%. Selanjutnya, sensor akan digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem pengukuran dan monitoring temperatur pada mesin. To monitor engine temperature, a temperature measurement system is needed. In this study, a temperature measurement system was designed on the engine using the AMG8833 thermal camera sensor. However, in its use, each sensor must be characterized before being used. The purpose of characterization of the AMG8833 thermal camera sensor is to find out the optimal measurement distance, working range, and accuracy in temperature measurement. The method used in characterizing the AMG8833 thermal camera sensor is to directly compare the value read on the sensor with the value read on an industrial thermometer. The optimal distance measurement results show that the sensor is able to work optimally at a distance of 3 cm. While the results of the sensor trials in the range of 32.50˚C to 65.70˚C have an average relative measurement error of 0.12%. Furthermore, the sensor will be used in the development of a temperature measurement and monitoring system on the engine. Abstract

Abstrak Pada era digital ini sangat memungkinkan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang menunjang proses pembelajaran yang dapat dilakukan kapanpun dan dimanapun. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan yang peneliti lakukan yaitu 70,4% siswa merasa kesulitan pada materi elastisitas dan hukum hooke serta 73% siswa mengingkan video pembelajaran dengan video animasi. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan video animasi berbasis project-based learning pada materi elastisitas dan hukum hooke. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE dengan langkah-langkah: Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan media pembelajaran video animasi berbasis project based learning pada materi fisika elastisitas dan hukum hooke yang diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran oleh guru. Kata-kata kunci: : video pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, elastisitas dan hukum hooke. Abstract In this era of digitalization, it is easier to develop a technology-based learning media that can be used anywhere and anytime, thus enhancing students’ learning capabilities. According to the analysis to determine student’s need for a better learning media to master the subject of Elasticity and Hooke’s Law, the data shows that 70,4% of students struggled in understanding the subject while 73% of students determine that an animated learning video would be a better tool to master the subject. Therefore, this research focused solely on the development of project-based learning video animation for Elasticity and Hooke’s Law subject. With this research, validated animated learning videos will be constructed to support students learning on Elasticity and Hooke’s Law subject. This research method employed the ADDIE model with steps: Analysing, Designing, Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating. Keywords: educational video, learning media, hooke’s law and elasticity.

Abstract

Posyandu is a prominent instance of Community-Based Health Initiatives (UKBM) inside the community. The efficacy and quality of Posyandu are contingent upon the function of the cadres. The cadre's responsibility is to manually manage and document child development data via KMS (Kartu Menuju Sehat). An electronic KMS, entitled Smart KMS, has been established using Community Service activities integrated Community Service Program(PKM-KKN) to offer data on toddler growth and development. Smart KMS offers monthly statistics on child growth, including graphs depicting child weight relative to age, child height relative to age, and child nutritional status based on weight and height. Access to Smart KMS is facilitated through two account types: admin accounts and toddler parent accounts. Smart KMS has been deployed at Posyandu Kemala Ciracas and is utilized by 63 toddlers. The findings of a service survey conducted with cadre respondents at Posyandu Kemala Ciracas indicate that Smart KMS is seen as highly effective in terms of usability, accessibility, advantages, and its role in toddler data gathering (value 93%). Posyandu cadres evaluated that the conducted activities positively influenced the enhancement of their skills and knowledge, the accessibility of facilities at Posyandu, and the advantages for Posyandu itself (value 92%). Therefore a necessity for ongoing initiatives and further support..   Abstrak Posyandu merupakan salah satu bentuk Upaya Kesehatan Bersumber Daya Masyarakat (UKBM) yang paling dikenal di masyarakat. Kualitas dan efektifitas Posyandu bergantung pada peran kader. Tugas kader adalah mengelola dan mencatat data perkembangan anak secara manual menggunakan KMS (Kartu Menuju Sehat). Melalui kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat terintegrasi Kuliah Kerja Nyata (PKM-KKN) telah dilakukan pengembangan KMS elektronik dengan nama Smart KMS yang menyediakan data tumbuh kembang balita. Pada Smart KMS tersedia data perkembangan anak setiap bulan, grafik berat badan anak berdasarkan umur, grafik tinggi badan anak berdasarkan umur, dan grafik status gizi anak berdasarkan berat dan tinggi badan. Terdapat dua jenis akun yang dapat digunakan untuk mengakses Smart KMS yaitu akun admin dan akun orang tua balita. Smart KMS telah diimplementasikan di Posyandu Kemala Ciracas dan digunakan oleh 63 balita. Dari hasil survey layanan dengan responden kader di Posyandu Kemala Ciracas, menunjukkan bahwa Smart KMS dinilai sangat baik dalam memberikan kemudahan penggunaan, aksesibilitas, manfaat, serta kontribusinya dalam pendataan balita (nilai 93%). Kader Posyandu juga menilai bahwa kegiatan yang dilakukan memberikan dampak positif bagi peningkatan keterampilan dan wawasan kader, ketersediaan fasilitas di Posyandu, serta manfaat bagi Posyandu itu sendiri (nilai 92%). Sehingga perlunya keberlanjutan kegiatan dan pendampingan lebih lanjut.

COVID prevention knowledge before and after the internet-based education intervention increased significantly from 2.02 (SD=1.25) 2 to 3.45 (SD=1.31) with a t-value of 6.22 and a p-value of 0.000. In the scores of COVID-19 prevention practice, it was found that the intervention group data showed a significant Increased from 2.57 (SD = 0.98) to 3.13 (SD = 2.34) with a p-value of 0.000. Conclusions: This study found the significant improvement of knowledge and practice toward COVID-19 prevention using an internet-based education.

Abstract

Desa Pantai Mekar yang terletak di pesisir Kecamatan Muara Gembong, Bekasi merupakan desa yang memiliki sumber daya laut yang melimpah dibandingkan dengan daratan. Sebagian besar warga di desa Pantai Mekar bekerja sebagai petani rumput laut dan nelayan. Desa Pantai Mekar berada di dataran rendah sehingga sering terjadi kenaikan air laut. Dampaknya tanah di Desa Pantai Mekar memiliki tingkat keasinan yang tinggi, sehingga kondisi tanah tidak menguntungkan untuk bercocok tanam. Selain itu, lahan yang terbatas menjadi permasalahan warga desa Pantai Mekar dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sayuran. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan solusi dari permasalahan tersebut dengan mengenalkan budidaya tanaman hidroponik karena sistem ini bisa diterapkan di Desa Pantai Mekar yang memiliki tanah dengan tingkat keasinan yang tinggi dan lahan yang sangat terbatas. Bentuk kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu survey lokasi dan sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pemonitoran. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah a) meningkatnya pengetahuan baru mengenai budidaya tanaman hidroponik; b) bercocok tanam menggunakan teknik sumbu yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat sekitar Desa Pantai Mekar.
