Abstract

This article discused abouts current issues regarding development of Indonesian literature. The developments include many things, one of which concerns the employment of creativity in literature. Instatement of literature in this era is destined to answer the challenges of the times. Literature faced with the realities of the modern world that everything must be completely reasonable (make sense). Therefore, the employment of the literary creative process not only focuses on spices romatisme life figure œwho is so sentimental and dramatic, but the employment of current literature also involves a particular scientific field. Literature connected, combined, and mixed with science in his creative process, resulting in hybridization of science in literature. Instatement of literature involving science gives the impression that the literature in his creative process not only as "katak dalam tempurung" because it deals with the same issues. This article covers the period of scientific literature, development of scientific literature, and representations of science in literature. Literary works are analyzed to see the phenomenons of hybridization of science in literature are Dewi Lestari whit œAkar and œSupernova, and Andrea Hirata whit œLaskar Pelangi.

Abstract

Pesatnya kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan menuntut setiap siswa memiliki kemampuan baca dan tulis yang lebih, dengan tujuan agar siswa memiliki wawasan dan pengetahuan yang cukup. Peningkatan keterampilan berbahasa merupakan investasi penting bagi kemajuan individu, masyarakat, dan bangsa. Pelaksanaan ini dilakukan pada bulan 10 Agustus 2024 hingga 20 Oktober 2024. Participatory action research (PAR) adalah sebuah pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah project, ceramah, dan show and tell. Kegiatan dimulai dengan kegiatan Field Trip Kampung Coklat memilih objek yang menarik perhatian mereka, seperti penanaman bibit kakao, menyiapkan media tanam, alat produksi, dan olahan kakao di Kampung Coklat. siswa mendapatkan pengalaman langsung dalam berbicara dan mendengarkan, sehingga keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal mereka meningkat.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan tindakan yang tidak terpuji. Bullying bisa terjadi dimanapun, baik di lingkungan sekolah maupun di lingkungan sekitar kita. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pencegahan tindakan bullying.  Pelaksanaan sosialisasi dilakukan di wisata edukasi Kampung Coklat Blitar Jawa Timur yang mengadakan kegiatan pondok ramadan. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 5 sekolah dasar di kecamatan Kademangan Blitar. Pendekatan pengabdian yang digunakan Participatory action research (PAR) sedangkan Metode yang digunakan berupa projek, ceramah, ice breaking, pembagian poster bahaya bullying dan audiovisual. Dampak dari pencegahan tindakan bullying di sekolah dasar melalui kegiatan pondok ramadan dapat menambah pemahaman siswa dalam tiga hal berupa 1). pemahaman siswa terkait dengan bahaya dan jenis bullying, 2). pemahaman tentang regulasi dan hukuman pelaku bullying, 3). dampak bagi korban atau pelaku bulliying.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country characterized by a diversity of religions and beliefs. All elements of society are needed to achieve a harmonious life. Intolerant and extreme behavior not only targets the general public in the real and virtual worlds, but has now spread to educational institutions. Activities such as halaqah (Islamic religious gatherings) and other closed religious studies that are not accompanied by a moderate understanding of religious teachers can encourage the emergence of exclusivist, exploitative, and intolerant attitudes in educational institutions. Strengthening moderate attitudes must be carried out in a structured manner in various aspects of community life, including educational institutions, because they play a strategic role in fostering moderate understanding and can even serve as laboratories for religious moderation. If the strengthening of moderate attitudes in educational institutions is not optimized, they will certainly become easy targets for the infiltration of splinter and intolerant ideologies. Therefore, educational institutions are a highly effective medium for strengthening the character of students who are broad-minded, open, and tolerant in the dynamics of life as a diverse nation and state.
