Abstract

As social creatures, humans live in a variety of diversity, ranging from culture, tradition, language, and habits. In terms of communication, most Indonesian people live in bilingual, Indonesian-language and local-language conditions, even multilingualism coupled with foreign language skills. Bilingual and multilingual conditions affect language skills, especially in writing skills. The results of this study show that Indonesian-regional bilingual students write better in Indonesian national languages compared to write in regional languages and in foreign languages (English). Many local language writings are interfered with in Indonesian because students assume that certain vocabulary is very difficult to find in local languages so that they are replaced with Indonesian. In terms of quantity of writing, on average most students produce more Indonesian language production than Madura, Javanese and foreign languages.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa disabilitas dalam pembelajaran sastra teks cerpen melalui aplikasi MAREN (Mari Rangkum Cerpen). Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi MAREN ini adalah RnD dengan model ADDIE.  Lokasi penelitian bertempat di SMK Dharma Wanita Gresik, subyek penelitian ini yaitu siswa penyandang disabilitas kelas XI. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan motivasi belajar siswa disabilitas dalam kategori baik dengan rata-rata 75%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi MAREN (Mari Rangkum Cerpen) layak untuk diimplementasikan dan mampu meningkatkan motivasi siswa penyandang disabilitas dalam belajar sastra teks cerpen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik dengan menerapkan kombinasi dua media pembelajaran modern berupa QR Code dan media pembelajaran tradisional berupa ular tangga pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas IX MTs Darul Ulum Petiyin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan studi pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa siklus I belum mencapai indikator yang ditetapkan oleh peneliti dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran klasik berupa ceramah. Kemudian peneliti melakukan penelitian Kembali pada siklus II yang menggunakan kombinasi dua media, yakni modern dan tradisional yang menghasilkan peningkatan secara signifikan pada peserta didik dalam melakukan proses belajar mengajar. Rata-rata keaktifan peserta didik melalui empat indikator yang ditentukan oleh peneliti menghasilkan 69,01% pada siklus I dan II, melalui perhitungan N Gain Score.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze illocutionary speech acts in the lyrics of the song "Tertawan Hati" by Awdella using a pragmatic approach. The analysis is conducted to explore the meaning, communicative purposes, and pragmatic implications of various illocutionary speech acts found in the lyrics of the song. The research method involves analyzing the lyrics of the song "Tertawan Hati" by identifying and classifying the types of illocutionary speech acts contained in each verse of the song. The results of the analysis will be interpreted in the context of message delivery, expression of emotions, and the overall meaning of the song. Furthermore, this research will consider the influence of culture, social values, and situations in determining the illocutionary speech acts used in the song lyrics. The lyrics of "Tertawan Hati" create a profound and poetic atmosphere with carefully chosen words. The analysis of illocutionary speech acts in these lyrics is expected to help us understand how the singer conveys messages, feelings, and meanings through the medium of music. With a deeper understanding of illocutionary speech acts in song lyrics, we can appreciate the artistic power of music in communicating emotions and meanings to listeners and understand how music can serve as a medium for conveying complex messages about love, longing, and deep emotions.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the forms of language variants in the form of types of sociolect, diction, code switching and code mixing which is used on the Instagram account @Londokampung. This is qualitative research and the research data was taken from transcripts of conversations in videos uploaded to the Instagram account @Londokampung. Furthermore, based on analysis of the transcript data obtained, there are forms of code switching and code mixing used in conversations in videos on the Instagram account @Londokampung. The form of code switching is in the form of a regional language, namely Javanese, with a foreign language, namely English. Meanwhile, based on the data that has been found and collected, there is a form of code mixing that is used, namely in the form of language insertion using regional languages, namely Javanese and also foreign languages, namely English and using Indonesian.
