Abstract

Learning is a cognitive process that enables students to engage in critical thinking, interact with information, and subsequently apply their knowledge to solve issues.   The dynamic classroom approach enhances students' active learning, fosters student motivation, and promotes collaborative interactions among students, reducing conflicts and fostering discipline in both the classroom and the school. This study examines the Moving class model, teacher pedagogic competence, motivation, and learning discipline using the SmartPLS application-based Structural Equation Model (SEM). The location in this study was a state senior high school in Ambon, with samples obtained by simple random sampling of 41 students for the experimental class and 40 for the control class. The results obtained were that the validity and reliability tests on the outer model showed a value of Standardized Loading Factors (SLF) 0.7, Construct Reliability (CR) 0.5, and Average Variance Extracted (AVE) 0.5, so it was said to be valid and reliable. In contrast, in the Inner model, the dependent variable simultaneously influences learning motivation (Y) with an R Square value of 0.672 and learning discipline (Z) of 0.506, so the model is categorized as moderate. The Goodness of Fit (GoF) index shows Q square 0 and RMSE 0.05 and has predictive relevance indicating relevant exogenous latent variables. The significance test for proving the hypothesis showed that all variables had a positive and significant effect with a t-statistic 1.96 and a p-value 0.05. Limitations in this study include the arrangement of students, fluency in learning, and utilization of learning resources. As a continuation of this research, other research variables can be studied regarding personality, professionalism, and social competence and their influence on learning outcomes, self-efficacy, etcetera.

Abstract

Total Quality Management (TQM) is a management approach aimed at enhancing the quality of products, services, and organizational processes. In educational administration, TQM involves applying these principles to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of the education system. This study investigates whether TQM implementation improves digital transformation initiatives and service delivery in educational settings. Using a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Model (SEM), this research measures and analyzes the relationships between TQM, Digital Transformation, and Prime Services. The study population comprises students from the Faculty of Tarbiyah who have completed at least three semesters, providing them with sufficient experience to assess TQM's effectiveness. Nonprobability quota sampling is used to select respondents based on predetermined criteria. The findings reveal that all reflective indicator variables in the outer model are valid, with high reliability demonstrated by composite reliability and Cronbach's alpha values. The inner model testing shows that exogenous variables can be explained by endogenous variables, including TQM (X1), Digital Transformation (X2), and Prime Services (X3). The results indicate that TQM significantly impacts digital transformation and the enhancement of prime services in education. Recommendations for educational administrators include strengthening TQM principles, increasing investment in digital technology, and focusing on prime services to students. These steps can improve operational efficiency, educational quality, and responsiveness to student needs in the digital era.

Abstract

The Treffinger model is a learning approach that emphasizes developing students' skills and encouraging learning. This study aimed to analyze the effect of using the Treffinger learning model on process skills and learning outcomes of geography. This research was conducted by dividing students into two groups, namely the experimental and control groups. The research was conducted at MAN 2 Ambon and involved randomly selected class VIII students from September to November. The data analysis technique used was multivariate (MANOVA) with the help of SPSS 26.0 for windows. Based on the research results, the normality test, homogeneity test, and multicollinearity show that the data is normally distributed, homogeneous, and collinear.Furthermore, based on hypothesis testing, there are significant differences in process skills and learning outcomes between students who study with the Treffinger learning model and students who learn with conventional learning models. The Treffinger learning model shows a better effect with a calculated F value = 12.85, and the significance level for Pillai's Trace, Wilks' Lambda, Hotelling's, and Roy's Largest Root is less than 0.05. Whereas for the test between subjects, the value of F = 0.116 was obtained with a significance of less than 0.05. Thus, the Treffinger Model is an effective learning model for developing students' creative and innovative thinking skills in improving geography learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of classroom management with a character education approach in enhancing the quality of the learning environment and the holistic development of students. Through a literature review method, various scholarly sources were analyzed to identify the impact of character education on classroom climate, student behavior, and the development of social and emotional skills. The research findings indicate that character education creates a more positive classroom climate, where students feel valued and supported, and significantly reduces negative behaviors such as aggression and bullying. Furthermore, this approach has proven effective in improving students' social and emotional skills, which are crucial for their academic success and long-term well-being. The long-term impact of character education is also evident in forming a strong moral identity and the readiness of students to become responsible citizens. Thus, classroom management based on character education is a comprehensive and effective strategy for supporting students' academic, social, and moral development, as well as preparing them to face future challenges with integrity and responsibility

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of STEM education in developing spatial thinking skills in elementary school students. The study employs a quasi-experimental design involving two groups: an experimental group that received STEM intervention and a control group following the standard curriculum. The results indicate that the experimental group experienced significant improvements in visualization, spatial relationship understanding, and spatial object manipulation compared to the control group. These improvements are primarily to technology, such as 3D simulations and design software, which help students comprehend complex spatial concepts. Further statistical analysis supports these findings, showing significant differences between the experimental and control groups. These findings underscore the importance of integrating STEM education into the curriculum to enhance students' spatial skills, which are critical in various science and technology disciplines. However, challenges in implementation, such as a need for more resources and teacher training, must be addressed to ensure the program's effectiveness across different educational contexts.
