Abstract

Learning is a process in which there are various elements and components. The purpose of all of that is for students to know, be skilled and become better. Moreover, learning is done online, student interest in learning is rather low because the delivery can only be discussed, so researchers use models and media to increase student interest. the purpose of this study was to determine student interest before and after receiving treatment. The method used is quantitative in the form of a quantitative method. Pre-experimental design is a design that includes only one group or class given pre- and post-test research subjects of 35 students. As for the results of the study, the normality test indicates that the data is normally distributed, that the probability value > of 0.05 then Ho is accepted in the sense that the above data is normally distributed. In addition to the normality test, there is also a homogeneity test in which the results of the test show that the data is homogeneous. that the value of sig. > 0.05, which is the sig. value of the data above 0.091, it can be said that the variances of two or more groups have the same data population. After the normality and homogeneity tests, the researcher analyzed the data using the Paired sample t-test and found that the sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 less than 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference between not using the minute-meter-based PBL model and using the minute-meter-based PBL model

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of parenting styles on student morality at Madrasah Mu’allimin Yogyakarta, addressing the gap in empirical research regarding the causal relationship between parental approaches and moral development in Islamic educational settings. Employing a comparative quantitative design, the research compared the effects of democratic, authoritarian, and permissive parenting styles on the moral character of 12th-grade students. Data were collected through standardized questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality and homogeneity tests, one-way ANOVA, and Tukey HSD post-hoc analysis. The findings revealed that students raised with a democratic parenting style exhibit the highest mean moral scores, followed by those with authoritarian and permissive backgrounds. Statistical analysis confirmed a significant difference in moral outcomes between democratic and permissive parenting styles (p < 0.05), while differences between democratic-authoritarian and authoritarian-permissive styles were not statistically significant. The democratic style’s effectiveness was attributed to its balance of emotional support and rational behavioral expectations, fostering internalization of moral values and student autonomy. Conversely, permissive parenting correlated with weaker moral boundaries, and authoritarian approaches rely on obedience without deep moral comprehension. These results underscored the critical role of parenting in shaping student morality, highlighting the democratic style as the most conducive to moral development. Implication of this study that parents and educational institutions prioritized democratic parenting strategies to nurture morally upright future generations, with implications for policy and parental education programs in Islamic schools.

Abstract

The formation of religious character and a sense of responsibility in students is a challenge for education amid rapid social dynamics and technological developments. Islamic Religious Education (IRE) has a strategic role in internalizing Islamic values, but its learning tends to be cognitive and formal in nature. This study aims to analyze the role of the hidden curriculum of IRE in shaping the religious character and responsibility of students and to formulate a conceptual model of the hidden curriculum of IRE based on an interconnective school ecosystem. Using a qualitative approach, this study employed a case study method at integrated Islamic elementary school. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The collected data were then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results of the study explain that the hidden curriculum of PAI is internalized through religious school culture, educator role models, daily habits, and ethical social interactions. Religious values and responsibility are internalized through contextual and continuous learning experiences. This study produced a conceptual model of the hidden curriculum of PAI based on an interconnective school ecosystem, which emphasizes that the character building of students is the result of the integration of the school environment, implicit value education practices, and a continuous internalization process.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a conceptual model for fostering students’ spiritual intelligence through the ISMUBA curriculum at SMA Muhammadiyah Imogiri, Indonesia, with a focus on promoting sustainable educational practices in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education). It employed a qualitative case study design and purposive sampling; participants comprised students from grades X–XII, ISMUBA teachers, and school management as key informants. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and documentary analysis of the curriculum and school programs. Thematic analysis was used to identify patterns in the integration of spiritual values, and findings were linked to theories of spiritual intelligence and Islamic education through literature synthesis. The results revealed that the six ISMUBA subjects Al-Qur’an and Hadith, Aqidah Akhlak, Fiqh, History (Tarikh), Muhammadiyah Studies, and Arabic collectively enhanced students’ transcendental awareness, meaning-making, ritual discipline, empathy, and social responsibility, all of which contribute to the realization of SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). The proposed model explained implementation mechanisms such as interactive-reflective approaches, teacher exemplarity, habitual religious practices, and adaptation to contemporary issues. The implications of this research provide a practical framework for Muhammadiyah educators and curriculum developers to strengthen the spiritual dimension in teaching.

Abstract

Child resilience is an essential adaptive capacity that enables children to cope with developmental challenges, psychosocial stressors, and changing family dynamics. The family environment plays a central role in shaping resilience, particularly through parenting practices and the internalization of spiritual values. This study aimed to systematically examine the role of authoritative parenting and spirituality in the formation of child resilience within the family environment. A systematic literature review was conducted using the PRISMA framework to guide the identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion of relevant studies. Scholarly articles were retrieved from Google Scholar, Scopus, Crossref, and Garuda/SINTA, and selected based on their relevance to parenting styles, spirituality, child resilience, and family contexts. The selected studies were analyzed through thematic synthesis to identify key patterns, protective factors, and conceptual relationships across the literature. The findings indicate that authoritative parenting and child spirituality function as significant protective factors in strengthening resilience. Authoritative parenting, characterized by warmth, responsiveness, clear boundaries, and open communication, supports children’s emotional security, autonomy, and adaptive coping. Meanwhile, spirituality provides meaning, hope, moral orientation, and inner strength that help children interpret difficulties more constructively. The synthesis further shows that the interaction between warm parenting practices and dialogical internalization of spiritual values produces the most optimal contribution to child resilience. These findings confirm that resilience is not merely an innate trait but develops through a continuous, relational, and holistic process within the family environment. This study highlights the importance of integrating supportive parenting and spiritual value education in family-based interventions, parenting programs, and guidance and counseling practices aimed at strengthening children’s resilience.
