Abstract

This paper aims to analyze education guarantees for children with special needs (ABK) in the Covid-19 era. The focus of the study is the phenomenon of crew members clowning on the streets of Medan City. The theory used in analyzing the data is the theory of implementation of Merilee S. Grindle's policies. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected using an open interview technique, participant observation, and documentation study. Furthermore, the data were analyzed through data reduction techniques, data display, and concluding. This study indicates that the North Sumatra government has been very responsive to inclusive education for children with special needs in the region.This is indicated by two things, namely (1) the declaration of North Sumatra as the Province of Inclusive Education since 2015 and (2) the issuance of the Governor of North Sumatra No. 29 of 2016 concerning the Implementation of Inclusive Education as a follow-up to Permendiknas Number 70 of 2009.

Abstract

Religion and God, not taboo to be taught to children of basic age (6-12 years). This article aims to examine pedagogics that deserve to be taught to children about their God (Allah swt.) And know the limits of basic age children to know God according to their developmental stages. The formulation of the problem in this study is what are the boundaries that are taught to children (basic age) about God and how to study God with students of basic age. This study uses a qualitative approach with library study methods. The results of this study indicate that (1) know God Almighty. to children limited in the cognitive dimension according to the stage of development of the child's religion, while the feeling of God and the awareness of God for children can be taken through concrete worship practices. (2) The efforts that should be done by adults in studying God with basic age children based on the stage of development are (a) instilling monotheism through the majesty of God, (b) introducing Allah Almighty. through the child, (c) educating the child with worship, and (d) displaying the moral virtues as a reflection of Asma al-Husna.

Abstract

Kajian Living Qur’an dan hadis, selama ini didominasi oleh wilayah penelitian sosial, baik dalam lingkup komunitas tertentu maupun masyarakat luas. Aspek pendidikan formal masih jarang menyentuh kajian ini, baik dalam upaya pengembangan pendidikan maupun penanaman nilai. Padahal, “ruh” pendidikan Islam terletak pada upaya menjiwai teks nash dan mempraktikkannya sesuai konteks masyarakat melalui proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menganalisa teori pengembangan pendidikan nilai Lickona sebagai “pisau analisa” kajian living Qur’an dan hadis, meliputi moral knowing, moral feeling dan moral acting di madrasah ibtidaiyah (MI). Dengan demikian, siswa sejak usia dasar mengetahui, menghayati dan melakukan sesuatu atas kesadaran moral. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, diskusi tidak terstruktur dan observasi partisipan di lingkungan madrasah.Kata Kunci: Living Qur’an & Hadis; Moral Acting; Moral Feeling; Moral Knowing.

Abstract

This article examines the living Qur’an and hadith through programmatic activities in madrasah ibtidaiyah (MI). During this time, the study of living Qur’an and hadith is dominated by the area of social research, both within the scope of certain communities and the wider community. In fact, this study is important to be developed in educational institutions, as an effort to restore the “spirit” of Islamic education and to make the Al-Qur’an hadith “living text” in MI. For this reason, this study analyzes al-Qur’an hadith learning and and programmed activities at MI Nurul Ummah. The main data was obtained through interviews, observations and study of documents focused on routines, rituals, and moral guidance in MI. The focus of these activities, in terms of oral, aural, writing, and attitude aspects. Thus, fulfilling the four aspects of something is referred to as the effort to live the Qur’an and hadith.

Abstract

Parenting the Qur’an is a parenting process based on the values of the Qur'an. The method of article research is library research. Additional data collection obtained from primary data from Sumper, the data collected is analyzed, using the interpretation method, to explain all aspects of the contents of the Koran and focus on the verses of the Koran. The Koran as the holy book of Muslims serves as a guide for humans, including early childhood. Educating children can be achieved by physical and mental efforts. By birth, we can see various tips in educating children and the problems that exist in them. Meanwhile, mentally, we are advised to always pray and ask Allah to be given strength and patience in educating him. For that, never stop praying, because all prayers will be answered. Provide understanding to children about the spiritual values of children from an early age, starting from choosing a life partner, teaching them from the womb, recognizing them when they are born, and guiding them from childhood to adulthood.

Abstract

Critical thinking is a process that aims to make all decisions based on reasonable facts. Critical thinking requires skills in listening and reading which are studied very carefully, can search for and sort out hidden assumptions and explore the consequences of a statement. The purpose of this study is to understand in-depth and describe the implementation of learning in the course of learning strategies to train students to think critically. The subjects of this research are lecturers and students. This research uses a case study qualitative research method. In analyzing the data using the three components of the Miles and Huberman model, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that students can think critically in the course of learning strategies and meet several criteria for critical thinking skills, namely students can give simple explanations, students can build basic skills, can conclude, which consists of deductive activities, can provide further explanations on a topic. Problems and students can determine actions and interact with others.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor genetic pada perkembangan anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi kepustakaan. Studi kepustakaan berarti teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan penelaahan terhadap buku, literatur, catatan, serta berbagai laporan yang berkaitan dengan masalah yang ingin dipecahkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor genetik sangat berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan anak usia dini. Hal ini dapat dilihat melalui faktor genetik dan hereditas yang saling berkaitan dengan lingkungan anak. Hereditas merupakan faktor utama yang dapat memengaruhi perkembangan anak. Orang tua sangat berperan penting untuk mengembangkan serta memberikan lingkungan yang baik sejak anak berusia dini karena akan memberikan dampak yang baik untuk masa depan anak kelak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab anak berkebutuhan khusus. Anak berkebutuhan khusus adalah anak yang memerlukan penanganan khusus karena adanya gangguan perkembangan dan kelainan yang dialami anak. Anak dengan kebutuhan khusus adalah anak yang membutuhkan layanan atau perlakuan khusus untuk mencapai perkembangan yang optimal sebagai akibat dari kelainan atau keluarbiasaan yang disandangnya. Pengertian ini menunjukan bahwa tanpa pelayanan atau perlakuan khusus mereka tidak dapat mencapai perkembangan yang optimal, termasuk kebutuhan khusus dalam layanan pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode kualitatif, serta menggunakan metode studi pustaka atau library research.

Abstract

Setiap anak memiliki hak mendapatkan pendidikan dan berhak memilih model pendidikan yang diinginkannya yang sesuai dengan minat, bakat, kemampuan, dan gaya belajarnya tidak terkecuali bagi Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus. Secara umum terdapat tiga jenis pilihan pendidikan untuk anak ABK yaitu Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB), Sekolah Inklusi dan Home schooling. Terjadinya hambatan dalam sekolah SLB dan Inklusi pada anak ABK mengakibatkan orang tua memilih jenis layanan lainnya yaitu Home schooling. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana model pendidikan ABK dengan layanan Homeschooling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada artikel ini ialah metode pemdekatan kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis (content analysis). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Home schooling merupakan pendidikan alternatif yang dapat dipilih dan dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat. Pelaksanaan pendidikan berbasis rumah dan lebih fleksibel dibandingkan sekolah formal. Home schooling  menjadi salah suatu usaha dan alternatif yang dilakukan untuk mencapai tujuan dan fungsi pendidikan nasional dalam mengembangkan potensi peserta didik dan untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa.

Abstract

This study aims to find out that playing and games have very important benefits for growth and development in early childhood. This paper uses the literature study method which is carried out by reviewing and/or exploring several books, journals, as well as notes and other information or data that are judged to be following the study or research. In this study, it is stated that playing and games can make a positive contribution to the development of early childhood, namely, it can develop all aspects of development which include aspects of religious morals, social-emotional, language, cognitive, physical motor, and also art. In addition, there are also goals, characteristics, functions, benefits, and stages of development of early childhood play and are also equipped with playing conditions and games as well as examples of games that can stimulate developmental aspects in children. Playing and playing games can help children improve their aspects in an integrated and comprehensive manner. A safe and comfortable play environment is needed for children to explore and get stimulation for growth and development.
