Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia since March 2020 has had a negative impact on the community's economy in fullfil the needs of life and working. The decline in community activity has an impact on the business sector, especially food stalls, street vendors, small shops and others. The use of masks has become a lifestyle due to the corona virus pandemic creating business opportunities related to women's accessories, namely mask connectors. The mask connector is the product chosen to be given skills in this empowerment activity so that the community can take advantage of this business opportunity as an effort to take advantage of business opportunities during the pandemic and increase family income.

Abstract

Health is a precious basic human right. Prevention is better than cure, the jargon is common among the public. However, in its implementation, this is difficult to apply due to various factors, one of which is limited knowledge about how to prevent disease. People in Kandang Limun Village in Bengkulu City are included in the level of urban communities that are identical to living in dense settlements and relatively large populations with diverse characteristics. One of the problems faced by urban residents is the spread of infection from microorganisms (germs and viruses) originating from the surface of objects such as floors, tables, chairs, etc. The use of disinfectants is one solution to overcome these problems. The limited household budget to provide specially purchased disinfectants can be overcome by making their own disinfectants from materials at home.

Abstract

Women have a big role in the economy, especially during the pandemic covid-19. In this situation, many people can not stand in normal way for selling and buying. The others lost their jobs because the economy were not running well. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out Community Service (PPM) by taking place in the Bentiring Village, Bengkulu City. Activities was carried out in November 2020 not only by providing training on making handicraft accessories but also facilitating them to sell it online using social media. The participants of this activity is representatives of housewives. Online marketing of handicraft accessories will help the community in increasing family income during the pandemic.
