Abstract

Testing and calibration of medical devices are one of the efforts to ensure the quality of medical devices. Tests and calibrations have been carried out on the Blood Pressure Monitor (BPM) in the emergency room at one hospital. In this article, it will be explained how the stages in testing and calibrating the BPM tool are to get the results of the appropriate/unfit for the tool. It aims to provide knowledge and awareness to health workers as device users and patients on the implementation and importance of testing and calibration of medical devices. The method used is the Work Method from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2018. The test parameters consist of a physical examination test and the function of the tool as well as a Blood Pressure performance test at the systole pressure measurement points of 60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 200 mmHg and the diastole pressure point 30, 50, 65, 80, 100, and 150 mm Hg. The results of the physical examination and function tests were 100% good. The results of the blood pressure performance test 94% passed the test with the measurement uncertainty value below the tolerance threshold (± 5 mmHg). The 150 mmHg diastolic pressure measurement point has a measurement uncertainty value that exceeds the tolerance threshold so that the pressure point does not pass the test. Thus, the BPM medical device is declared suitable for use.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technologies forms more stringent requirements for indicators of reliability and availability of modern communication network services, which are expected to be available 24 hours a day throughout the year so that it is possible to use applications and services running on them at any time. To support network reliability and availability, routing protocols and redundancy are needed to handle failures in a network. A solution to increase network availability and reliability is using the First Hop Redundancy Protocol (FHRP), which consists of the Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP) and Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP). The results of the tests show that the delay difference between VRRP and HSRP is 0.16ms with a combination of EIGRP routing. In terms of packet loss parameters, when the primary network route is disconnected, there is an increase in packet loss of 1.01% on VRRP, 3.05% on HSRP combined with EIGRP routing, and 0.2% on VRRP, 0.4% on HSRP. Although delay and packet loss increased, the results obtained in this study met the standards set by ITU-T. The difference between VRRP and HSRP is 0.305 bit/ms in the throughput parameter. Meanwhile, the convergence time in VRRP is 5.14 seconds, HSRP 5.07 seconds, and the downtime parameter in VRRP is 12.6 S, 17.1 in HSRP.

Abstract

The large number of poverty and unemployment rates in Indonesia is a trigger for crime, especially theft of valuables in the house. The number of incidents of crime involving theft of rights/property without the use of violence during the 2012–2016 period tends to increase, in 2012 there were 122,777 cases, in 2013 There were 123,133 cases, in 2014 there were 117,751, cases in 2015 decreased to 114,013, cases in 2016 increased to 120,026, cases and in 2017 there were 107,042 cases. This can happen due to negligence, the environment and the security of house doors that still use manual locks. This research will design a security system for opening and closing house doors using fingerprints, so that house doors can only be accessed via the user's fingerprint registered in the microcontroller memory, if the fingerprint the finger is not registered then an alarm will sound, based on testing the tool for fingerprint reading, the fingerprint can be read within 3 to 4 seconds.

Abstract

Kebakaran dapat terjadi secara tidak terduga meskipun Anda berhati-hati saat menggunakan peralatan pembakar di laboratorium. Beberapa sumber  kebakaran adalah korsleting listrik, isolasi kabel peralatan terbuka, dan pembakaran sampah. Tujuan dari pelatihan pengabdian masyarakat adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang penyebab kebakaran dan upaya pencegahannya. Peserta  pelatihan antara lain para dosen dan mahasiswa jurusan teknologi rekayasa elektro medik Institut Kesehatan dan Teknologi Al Insyirah, instruktur dari laboratorium diagnostik Institut Kesehatan dan Teknologi Al Insirah. Teknik pelatihan dengan penyajian materi, praktek dan review hasil. Cara pelaksanaannya meliputi identifikasi permasalahan yang terjadi pada objek, penentuan ruang lingkup prioritas perbaikan dan pemberian penyelesaian permasalahan serta umpan balik berupa evaluasi hasil. Dilakukannya pelatihan dapat memberikan pengetahuan mengenai faktor-faktor penyebab kebakaran di laboratorium diagnostik, agar dapat menyadarkan mahasiswa akan pentingnya upaya pencegahan untuk menghindari terjadinya kebakaran. Kesimpulan dari pelatihan  pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dapat memberikan pengetahuan tentang faktor-faktor penyebab kebakaran dan mengetahui upaya pencegahan untuk meminimalisir terjadinya kebakaran, sekaligus dapat mendorong kepedulian mahasiswa terhadap pencegahan kebakaran lingkungan pada laboratorium diagnostik Al Insyirah.

Abstract

Kebakaran merupakan permasalahan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari manusia. Kerugian akibat kebakaran tidak hanya sebatas kerusakan rumah, namun juga menimbulkan kerugian jiwa dan raga. Beberapa penyebab terjadinya kebakaran adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat, kurangnya kesiapan masyarakat dalam menghadapi dan mengatasi bahaya kebakaran, serta belum memadainya sistem penanggulangan kebakaran, penyebaran dan integrasi. Membangun sistem proteksi kebakaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi dan memberikan peringatan dini terjadinya kebakaran ruangan dengan menggunakan IoT. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen, yaitu metode untuk menguji pengaruh suatu variabel terhadap variabel lain atau menguji hubungan sebab akibat antara variabel yang satu dengan variabel yang lain. Penelitian dilakukan di Institut Teknologi dan Kesehatan Al Insyirah Kampus 2 Pekanbaru pada laboratorium diagnostik. Populasi penelitian ini mencakup siswa yang menggunakan laboratorium diagnostik. Alat yang dirancang mempunyai kinerja yang baik dalam mendeteksi adanya keberadaan api dengan jarak penginderaan lebih kurang 90 cm, mendeteksi keberadaan asap dengan sensitivitas penginderaan 750 ppm dan mendeteksi keberadaan api menggunakan modul GPS dengan waktu pengiriman informasi ke Telegram dalam waktu 73 detik. Berdasarkan hasil survei, evaluasi dengan uji kelayakan alat yang dilakukan pengguna pengujian alat menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 40 responden. Responden menyatakan setuju bahwa alat dirancang untuk kemudahan penggunaan, serta kepuasan pengguna serta komentar dari pengujian kelayakan alat. Skor rata-rata kegunaan adalah 4,19, kesederhanaan 4,32, dan interaktivitas 4,33 pada skala 5 poin.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of slowing population growth due to decreased birth rates caused by several factors, especially the risks caused by the distance that must be traveled between homes and hospitals, besides that there are various diseases that cause the fetus to not be delivered successfully. Thus, a tool is needed to facilitate and reduce the risks that have been mentioned. This design was made based on the plan in the process and workings of this IoT-based fetal doppler device and in knowing the normal or abnormal fetal heart rate. In this study the development method was used, which in this method is more focused, in developing goals, expanding, and digging deeper until the desired goals are obtained. The first step is to collect data, search and study data and theories related to the IoT-based fetal Doppler device design system. 2.5 MHz frequency transducer that sends and receives reflections generated from objects. This reflection turns into an electric current which is amplified and filtered by the transducer. Furthermore, the electricity is amplified by the amplifier until DJJ's voice is heard from the speakers. The transducer circuit processes the signal received at the amplifier until the data obtained is sent and processed by NodeMCU. After processing, NodeMCU gets fetal heart rate data on Display and Thingspeak. The results of this study were obtained from survey results, users with questionnaire respondents as many as 40 samples were calculated using a Likert scale. Users agree that the tool is able to provide ease of use with a score of simplicity of 4.94%, interactivity of 4.30% and usability of 3.39% on a scale of 5. And the design of the tool can reduce the risk of possible acquisition, as well as make it easier for some parties.

Abstract

Peralatan elektro-medis memegang peran penting dalam penyelenggaraan pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat. Pelayanan kesehatan harus didukung oleh perangkat yang tersedia dan berfungsi sesuai UU RI Nomor 56 Tahun 2014 .  Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis manajemen risiko terkait peralatan elektro-medis menjamin penggunaan yang aman dan tidak terjadi kecelakaan kerja selama penggunaan baik bagi pasien maupun tenaga medis lainnya sesuai ISO 14971:2019. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi dokumen, lembar ceklist dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan manajemen risiko peralatan elektro-medis di RSUD Arifin Achmad telah dilaksanakan dengan baik dan sesuai standar ISO 14971:2019 didapatkan presentase kesesuaian manajemen risiko peralatan elektro-medis 100%. Terdapat klasifikasi risiko peralatan elektro-medis low, medium, dan high. Evaluasi risiko dilakukan dengan labelisasi alat medis berbahaya, dan pengendalian risiko dilakukan melalui langkah-langkah preventif, pemeliharaan rutin, serta kalibrasi alat medis. Dokumentasi risiko terdapat kendala anggaran dan biaya dalam proses manajemen risiko peralatan elektro-medis. Berdasarkan dari data yang diperoleh dapat ditarik kesimpulan manajemen risiko peralatan elektro-medis di RSUD Arifin Achmad telah sesuai ISO 14971:2019 bahwa 100% sesuai.

Abstract

During this process of monitoring the contents (volume) of the patient's urinary catheter manually, the nurse must go around one by one to the patient's inpatient room to ensure the contents (volume) of the patient's urinary catheter. This process takes quite a long time while patients who use urinary catheters at the hospital are not small. In addition, if the patient's urinary catheter monitoring process is still done manually, sometimes the medical team or nurses often miss or forget, that the urine bag (catheter) is full. The purpose of this study is to design an Internet Of Things Based Urine Bag Monitoring. The research method used in this study was experimental. The population in this study was 65 TREM study program students with a sample of 40 respondents. Based on the average score table of the Simplicity, Interactivity and Usability surveys. The results of the score calculation using the Likert scale from the Simplicity, Interactivity and Usability factors of urine bag monitoring testing that has been carried out using questionnaires to respondents have shown a high score that is almost close to the value of 5 based on calculations carried out using the Likert scale which indicates that this urine bag monitoring tool can be well received by respondents. It is expected to be developed as material for further research related to monitoring urine bags using applications that can usealarms on users' smartphones and can also use batteries on urine bag monitoring tools

Abstract

Background: Nurses are one of the professions in hospitals that have an important role in the provision of health services. Therefore, hospitals where nurses work are always making various efforts aimed at improving the quality of nurse professionalism. Nurse performance is a problem that must be addressed immediately, because nursing services determine the quality of hospital services.Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between incentives and length of service with nurse performance in documenting nursing care at Indrasari Regional General Hospital.Methods This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples in this study was 79 people. The sampling technique used was Probability Sampling with Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The statistical test used was the Pearson chi-square test.Results : The results showed that the majority of nurses' incentives (71 respondents (89.9%) were categorized as available, the majority of nurses' length of service (64 respondents (81.0%) were ≥5 years, and the majority of nurses' performance was categorized as moderate (53 respondents (67.1%). The results of statistical tests show that there is a significant relationship between incentives and length of service with nurse performance in documenting nursing care (P value 0.02 and P value 0.03).Conclution: It is hoped that the hospital will prioritize the needs of nurses in improving competence, providing incentives according to workload, and adding facilities in order to improve the quality of health services to patients.

Abstract

Breast cancer is a common disease in women, making early detection crucial to improve treatment effectiveness. This study aims to create a breast cancer classification system using MATLAB and the Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) algorithm through mammography image analysis. The data used was taken from the public platform Kaggle. The process includes preprocessing (conversion to grayscale and normalization), texture feature extraction with Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM), LVQ model training, and performance evaluation using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. Test results show that the LVQ model can achieve an accuracy of 80.45%, precision of 78.92%, recall of 100%, and an F1-score of 88.30%. The system is equipped with a MATLAB-based user interface (GUI) that allows for direct image classification. Although the results are positive in detecting cancer images, errors in classifying normal images are still present. Future improvements will focus on data balancing and improving model performance. This system is expected to be a tool for rapid and accurate early screening of breast cancer in clinical settings.
