Abstract

This PKM activity was carried out at Muhammadiyah 5 High School in Makassar city. The problem faced is that SMA Muhammadiyah 5 teachers cannot write scientific papers using the Zotero software application. In this PKM activity, the methods of lecturing, demonstrate, question, and answer are used. PKM activities are carried out offline by implementing health protocols. The results achieved are: 1) teacher partners can download and install the Zotero software application on their laptop/PC; 2) teacher partners can make citations and bibliography using the Zotero software application; and 3) teacher partners have the skills to write scientific papers by utilizing the Zotero application.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the integration of character values in junior high school students' writing learning. This research is a descriptive study. The subjects of this study were 35 grade VII students. The data was collected using test results of learning and observation results. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative analysis. The results of the qualitative analysis show the integration of the values of character education, namely the values of responsibility, discipline, honesty, self-confidence, courtesy, hard work, cooperation, respect, meticulousness and meticulousness, which are embedded in the learning of Indonesian for Class VII students of SMP Negeri 2. Bulukumba.

Abstract

This study aims to improve economic learning outcomes through a Jigsaw type cooperative approach in grade VII junior high school students. The results of this classroom action research are expected to provide significant benefits, both for individuals and for educational institutions. The results of the implementation of the first cycle showed that there were 22 (55%) students in very low category, 4 (10%) students in low category, 10 (25%) students in medium, 4 (10%) high students, and there are no students in the very high category. If the average score of economic learning outcomes is entered into five categories, then the mastery category is 0-39% (low). While the results of the implementation of the second cycle showed progress that and 40 students, only 4 students (10%) had very low mastery levels, 8 students (20%) had low mastery levels, 14 students (35%) had moderate mastery levels, 9 students (22.5%) with a high level of mastery, 5 students (12.5%) with a very high level of mastery. If the average score of economic learning outcomes is put into five categories, then the mastery level is 55-74% (medium). There were 29 students (72%) who had very low mastery of economics learning outcomes in the first cycle, the second cycle was reduced to 3 students (7.5%). In the first cycle there was only 1 student (2.5%) who had a high level of mastery and in the second cycle it changed to 8 students (20%) who had a high level of mastery. In the first cycle there were no students in the very high category, however, in the second cycle there were 4 students (10%) who had a high level of mastery.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan unutk mendeskripsikan gaya bahasa baliho caleg DPRD kota Makassar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pustaka (library research) dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif penelitian ini berupa bahasa tertulis. Sumber data adalah berupa konteks gaya bahasa iklan pada baliho yang bermajas repetisi, antithesis, eklamasio, hipokorisme, dan antonomasia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 2 bulan dan menunjukkan bahwa gaya bahasa pada baliho caleg merupakan jenis iklan yang memiliki gaya bahasa repetisi, antithesis, eklamasio, hipokorisme, dan antonomasia yang menampilkan beberapa gaya bahasa yang disajikan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ada lima majas yang telah diteliti di antaranya majas repetisi yang berjumlah 2, majas antithesis yang berjumlah 1, majas eklamasio yang berjumlah 3, majas hipokorisme yang berjumlah 2, dan majas antonomasia yang berjumlah 4.

Abstract

Analisis Gaya Bahasa Dalam Novel Hujan Karya Tere Liye. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sawerigading Makassar. Dibimbing oleh Fadly Akbar. S.Pd., M.Pd. dan Isnani Arianti. S.Pd., M.Pd.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gaya bahasa tokoh utama beserta fungsinya pada subjek penelitian, yakni novel “Hujan” karya Tere Liye yang diterbitkan oleh PT Sabak Grip Nusantara tahun 2022 dengan tebal buku 318 halaman. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, menggunakan teknik baca dan teknik catat dengan prosedur atau langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) Membaca novel Hujan karya Tere Liye dengan cara berulang-ulang, (2) Mencatat kutipan teks baik kutipan langsung maupun tidak langsung yang menyatakan pemakaian gaya bahasa pada tokoh utama. Atau teknik dokumentasi. (3) menyeleksi data yang akan dianalisis, (4) Menganalisis data yang telah diseleksi, (5) menyusun hasil penelitian dibawah bimbingan dosen pembimbing, kemudian (6) melaporkan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan sebanyak 96 penggunaan gaya bahasa secara keseluruhan pada tokoh utama, dari 17 jenis gaya bahasa, yakni majas perumpamaan sebanyak 8 gaya bahasa, majas metafora 3 gaya bahasa, majas personifikasi 19 gaya bahasa, depersonifikasi 6 gaya bahasa, majas antitesis 5 gaya bahasa, majas majas pleonasme 2 gaya bahasa, majas perifrasis 2 gaya bahasa, majas antisipasi 2 gaya bahasa, majas hiperbola 30 gaya bahasa, majas paradoks 1 gaya bahasa, majas sinisme 2 gaya bahasa, majas kontradiksi interminus 4 gaya bahasa, majas erotesis 4 gaya bahasa, majas sinekdoke pars pro toto 1 gaya bahasa, majas aliterasi ditemukan 1 gaya bahasa majas anafora 7 gaya bahasa, majas epistrofa 1 gaya bahasa, dan dalam 4 pengklasifikasian, yakni gaya bahasa perbandingan, pertentangan, pertautan dan perulangan. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, penggunaan gaya bahasa atau majas yang dominan yaitu gaya bahasa hiperbola dengan penggunaan sebanyak 30 gaya bahasa.

Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research conducted at Sabaru Pangkep State Elementary School which aims to improve students' Indonesian language learning outcomes through problem solving. This research was carried out in 2 cycles with each cycle consisting of four activity stages, namely the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The variables in this research are improving learning outcomes as the dependent variable and the Problem Solving method which is the independent variable. The population in this study were Sabaru Pangkep State Elementary School students with a sample of 24 people, namely 10 female students and 14 male students with varying abilities. The data obtained was then analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. Problem Solving has a positive impact in improving student learning outcomes, which is marked by an increase in the percentage of student learning completion. There was an increase in the completeness of Indonesian language learning outcomes by 25% from 70% in cycle I to 95% in cycle II. This shows that the Problem Solving learning method can improve Indonesian language learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to describe capital letter errors, word writing errors and errors in using punctuation marks on advertising banners in the city of Namlea, Buru Regency. The data used in this research is the writing on banners in the city of Namlea, Buru Regency. The instruments in this research are the researchers' own research and research. using tools in the form of General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI) and the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI). Data collection techniques in this research are observation and documentation techniques, then identification of descriptions and classification of data based on errors contained in advertising banners in Namlea City using using a qualitative descriptive approach. Analysis results from the data collected contained Indonesian spelling errors on advertising banners in Namlea, Buruse Regency, consisting of 51 cases of errors. Errors in the use of capital letters, errors in writing words, and errors in the use of punctuation marks. Furthermore, the implementation of banners on every road plays an important role in supporting the success of the learning process in schools. Because banners are indirect communication for each person and student, then it is a one-way communication that we seem to be aware of, therefore if the writing on the advertising banner that we see or read changes the letters in each word then this will affect knowledge. for everyone who reads it.

Abstract

Improving Explanatory Text Writing Skills Using the Simulation Method. This study aims to describe the explanation writing skills of Class VII students of SMPN I Tonra by applying the explanation method. This research is class action research. This research was conducted in Class VII of SMP I Tonra, Bone Regency, for the 2021/2022 academic year. This Classroom action research was carried out by applying two cycles of data collection using observation and testing techniques. The results showed that students' skills in writing explanatory text increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2.

Abstract

This study explores the ecological, spiritual, and agrarian values embedded in the rice mantras of the Makassar community through an ecosemiotic lens. Employing a qualitative approach, data were drawn from traditional lontarak texts, field observations, and interviews with local farmers and traditional leaders. Analysis utilized the three-dimensional ecolinguistic model by Bang and Døør, biological, sociological, and ideological, alongside Barthes' semiotic theory to interpret signs and meanings within the mantra texts. Findings reveal that these mantras are more than ritual expressions; they serve as oral educational texts that encode agrarian knowledge, cosmological beliefs, and environmental ethics. For instance, expressions like “I will use it for good and enjoyment” convey ecological intent and socio-spiritual gratitude. Meanwhile, metaphors such as “my fortune is like a mountain” construct symbols of abundance tied to divine blessing. Moreover, references to cardinal directions emphasize a cosmic understanding of agriculture as an integrated relationship among humans, nature, and the divine. Viewed through the lens of educational discourse analysis, these mantras represent indigenous eco-pedagogy transmitting values, practical wisdom, and cosmological awareness across generations. The study calls for renewed recognition of local linguistic heritage as cultural artifacts and as sources of environmental education. Future studies are encouraged to explore how agrarian discourses can be integrated into formal and non-formal education to promote ecological literacy and sustainability ethics in rural and urban contexts
