Abstract

This experiment was aimed to determine the optimum proportion of rosella calyx : water and extraction temperature on the physicochemical characteristics including antioxidant activity of the pigment extract. Finally, the research was also aimed to determine the possibility to use roselle extract as food colorant in some products. This experiment consisted of two steps. The first step was extracting colorant of rosella calyx using factorial Completely Randomized Design. The first factor was the proportion of rosella calyx and water consisted of three levels (1:3, 1:5, 1:7 (b/v)). The second factor was extraction temperature consisted of three levels (40°C, 50°C, 60°C). The combination of those treatments was conducted in triplicate. The second step was the application of rosella extract in certain type of food products (mangkuk cake, lapis cake, agar pudding, and syrup).    The result showed that the best treatment was obtained from the ratio of rosella calyx:water 1:3 (b/v) and extraction temperature 40°C. The treatment significantly affected 5%) the total acid content, pH, total anthocyanin content, antioxidant activity, yield, color (L+, a*). The best treatment gave physical and chemical characteristic of the extract of rosella calyx as follow total anthocyanin content of 19.092 mg/100 ml, antioxidant activity of 53.68%, total acid of 1.26%, pH of 2.23, yield of 55.88%, lightness of 26.23, and redness of 32.88.  While the best treatment based on sensory evaluation of food product using rosella calyx as a colorant extract was agar pudding.Keywords: rosella calyx, antioxidant, natural liquid colorant, extraction

Abstract

The idea of 21st Century leadership goes from the view that leaders must recognize precisely and fully both about themselves and about the conditions and aspirations of the people they lead, the development and the strategic environmental problems encountered in various fields, especially in the field they do, as well as the paradigm And the organizational and management systems in which it plays a role. The leader's responsibility is to provide solutions wisely and precisely on the problems and challenges facing his time, which is done with the people he leads. Organizational leaders occupy a central position in the effort to promote their institutions. Therefore, one of the things that a leader must have is creativity and innovation of his organization, an effort to make positive new breakthroughs that make the organization better, more advanced and ready to face the 21st century. In addition to having a vision and intelligent Intelligently, leaders are also required to have other intelligence in the face of the complexity of the current problems are increasingly difficult to overcome, namely emotional intelligence (EI).

Abstract

This investigation explores the correlation among readability, learners' reading strategy and reading comprehension that was completed with 96 secondary school 10th grade students who received two kinds of reading comprehension tests, early of them including the simpler readability level content, and the subsequent one is the troublesome. The two of them were joined by a survey on reading strategy they utilized. This study discovered five unique results and was also aligned with the question posed. The first outcome was centered on the measure level of text readability of English textbook which has 4 levels. Secondly, this study found the most frequently reading strategies used by students are problem solving reading strategies (PROB) and support reading strategies (SUP). Third, the result of this investigation revealed that there is correlation between text readability and reading comprehension (rxy =־0.345), however the coefficient is negative. Secondly, there is correlation (rxy = 0.254) between text readability and reading strategy and the coefficient is positive. Finally, there is also positive correlation (rxy= 0.434) between reading strategy and reading comprehension. These outcomes implicated that the teacher should consider the readability level of text used as teaching material and familiarize reading strategies to their students let they have good reading skill.

Abstract

Seeing husband and wife disputes that lead to divorce caused by a lack of belonging and respect for each other, this study aims to describe the form and efforts of husband and wife solidarity in realizing harmony with them. The method used in this research is a literature study with a sociological normative approach. Next this research will be analyzed using Emile Durkheim's theory of solidarity. The results showed that family harmony can be obtained through the closeness and openness of husband and wife. Closeness and openness here according to Emile Durkheim in the theory of social solidarity is obtained through mutual assistance and cooperation. Furthermore, this study shows the realization of harmony through mechanical solidarity where each married couple has a sense of mutual awareness or mutual help in achieving common goals. Then the forms of business in realizing family harmony that can be done by husband and wife through mutual assistance and cooperation are Doing housework together, mutual openness in managing family finances, being open to each other in communicating and understanding each other's roles

Abstract

Penelitian memiliki ujuan untuk melakukan pengujian serta analisis dari pengaruh Emotional intelligence, Support from colleagues, Job satisfaction terhadap Turnover intention. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah Guru yang mengajar di SMA Wachid Hasyim 5 /SMK Wachid Haysim 2 Surabaya sebanyak 50 responden. Sampel diperoleh dengan metode purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner kepada guru. Kemudian data dioleh menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa emotional intelligence berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention, support from colleagues berpengaruh signifikan dan negatif terhadap turnover intention, dan job satisfaction berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Hasil ini mendukung teori yang ada berdasarkan analisis literatur secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan: pengaruh pembelajaran bermain peran kerajaan hutan pada tema binatang terhadap perkembangan kognitif, pengaruh pembelajaran bermain peran kerajaan hutan pada tema binatang terhadap perkembangan sosial emosional, dan pengaruh pembelajaran bermain peran kerajaan hutan pada tema binatang terhadap perkembangan kognitif dan sosial emosional. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dengan design one group pretest dan posttest dengan instrumen pedoman observasi teknik checklist terhadap 23 orang anak kelompok B di Taman Kanak-kanak Putra 1 Mataram Tahun 2024. Hasil korelasi antara perkembangan kognitif dan perkembangan sosial emosional adalah signifikan dan uji prasyarat ditemukan memenuhi syarat analisis dengan teknik statistik t-test taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil analisis pengujian hipotesis dapat disimpulkan: 1) ada pengaruh pembelajaran bermain peran kerajaan hutan pada tema binatang terhadap perkembangan kognitif., 2) ada pengaruh pembelajaran bermain peran terhadap perkembangan sosial emosional., 3) ada pengaruh pembelajaran bermain peran kerajaan hutan pada tema binatang terhadap perkembangan kognitif dan sosial emosional. Berdasarkan temuan-temuan dalam penelitian dapat direkomendasikan: masalahmasalah yang terjadi pada perkembangan kognitif dan perkembangan sosial emosional dapat ditangani dengan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran bermain peran kerajaan hutan pada tema binatang sebagai metode pembelajaran terhadap anak usia dini kelompok B.

Abstract

The study aims to identify the manifestation of learning leadership characteristics in school. It also explores the concept of the leadership as a part of learning process throughout human life and investigate on how learning plays role in leadership. In order to meet the purpose of the research, the qualitative approached was employed, as it is in line with this particular study which is descriptive in nature. In accordance with many of the previous theories regarding the learning leadership, it is found that the application of learning leadership aids the leader of both schools to be a better leader. The improvement and the successful of the program indirectly derived from the manifestation of the characteristics of learning leadership namely faith in oneself, the aspiration towards excellence, the tenacity to challenge themselves, the engagement of support from others, and the continuous deliberate practice.

Abstract

Character education in New Normal Era based on a local wisdom approach is a solution to managing  education polemic that has been affected by  Covid-19 pandemic. One of  local wisdom approaches is through  G12 (Gurindam Dua Belas) approach which is  local wisdom of ethnic Malays as well as didactic literary works.  classification of  G12 document is used as an effort to strengn  character of  nation. Various problems of  character of  nation's children in  New Normal era such as moral decadence, sexual disorders, acts of plagiarism, excessive love for social media in  younger generation have become a moral crisis that disturbs  world of education, family and society, so re is a need for value development. To organize values, Gurindam Dua Belas is a solution that is implemented through habituation and exemplary. This research method is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach,  researcher collects primary sources and secondary sources related to  discussion, analyzes  contents of G12 and  results of G12 consist of 12 articles, containing  values of Islamic teachings, especially values.  purpose of this study is to describe  values that exist in Gurindam 12.  results obtained include: a) making an effort to introduce and foster local ethnic Malay wisdom, b) to describe  character education of Gurindam 12 and  values in it, se values include: not lying, prohibition of cursing and criticizing, gentle hands, patient, gentle, sincere, guarding heart, love to give, thrifty, polite, trustworthy, diligent, obedient to  mor and far and study hard. c) Growing and fostering  values of Gurindam 12 in students.  conclusion of this study is that  values of G12 need to be actualized continuously by  community and  young generation in all ir life activities in order to become individuals with Gurindam 12 characteristics.
