Abstract

In the face of the times, especially the development of increasingly advanced Science and Technology, adequate skills are needed to support the performance of office employees and village officials, especially Rantau Mapesai Village. This is because in service activities to the community, office employees and village officials in Rantau Mapesai are still not optimal in operating Microsoft Office. This condition certainly has an impact on the lack of maximum administrative services to the community. The purpose of this community service is to provide training to improve and maximize the potential of human resources on how to operate computers in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint application programs for office employees and village officials. The increase in the average pre-test score of 62.72 to the post-test of 88.00 indicates the level of participants' understanding of Microsoft Office. Through this training activity, participants can understand the importance of using technology in an effort to improve administrative services in the village.

Abstract

Some requirements for paving must have physical properties according to SNI 03-0691-1996 regarding paving, namely compressive strength, wear resistance, and absorption. Efforts to improve these properties can be done by adding fiber to the mixture. The use of glass waste and bendrat wire in partial replacement of fine aggregate is expected to be an alternative to various problems in the construction and environmental world. According to (Soroushian & Bayasi, 1987) the basic idea of ​​adding fiber is to provide reinforcement in concrete with steel fibers that are evenly distributed into the concrete mix which can prevent premature cracks in the concrete, either due to heat of hydration or due to loading, so that expected to be able to increase ductility, abrasion resistance, compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength, resistance to shrinkage, fracture and peeling. The compressive strength of standard paving already has good strength, with the addition of glass waste and bendrat wire as fine aggregate, it is expected to be able and further increase the compressive strength of the paving. From the results of research and testing, it can be seen that the effect of adding variations in the mixture of 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% bendrat wire and glass powder to the compressive strength of paving can increase the compressive strength of concrete by 36.26 Mpa, 46.12, respectively. Mpa, 50.15 Mpa and 55.66 Mpa. The addition of bendrat wire and paving glass powder can increase the value of the compressive strength of paving and is recommended as an additional fiber for paving, with the addition of bendrat wire and glass powder 15% with a percentage increase of 10.2%.

Abstract

Pile foundations are relatively long and slender rods that are used to transmit the foundation load through a layer of soil with low bearing capacity to a hard soil layer that has a high bearing capacity which is relatively deep compared to shallow foundations. The purpose of this study was to calculate the carrying capacity of a single pile, the efficiency of the pile group and the carrying capacity of the pile group from the sondir results. The calculation of the single pile bearing capacity is carried out using the Bagemann, deRuiter and Beringen methods. Pile group bearing capacity based on pile group efficiency using the Converse-Labarre Formula, Poulos and Davis, Los Angeles Group method. The results of the analysis of the calculation of the ultimate bearing capacity of the largest single pile foundation at a depth of 9 meters based on the Bageman Method (Qu) = 4,268.94 tons with (Qa) = 2,134.47 tons, and the smallest calculation analysis results at a depth of 9 meters based on the deRuiter and Beringen methods (Qu)= 1,154.99 tons with (Qa)= 577.49 tons. This is due to the effect of the maximum frictional resistance stated by deRuiter and Beringen which is 1.2 kg/cm2. The efficiency of the largest pile group in the P2 foundation variation with Eg = 0.947 and the smallest pile group efficiency on the P23 foundation variation with Eg = 0.062, this is because the pile efficiency depends on several factors including: the number, arrangement, and distance of the pile (Coduto, 1994) . The results of the analysis of the calculation of the bearing capacity of the largest pile group in the P23 foundation variation group with Qg = 38,685.13 tons and the smallest value in the P23 group variation with Qg = 823.50 tons, this is due to the efficiency of the pile group and the number of piles.

Abstract

Desa Rantau Mapesai terletak di Kecamatan Rengat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu Provinsi Riau. Desa tersebut memiliki luas wilayah 5000 ha, terdiri dalam dua wilayah yaitu Dusun I Beringin dan Dusun II Jaya yang terbagi dalam 4 Rukun Warga dan 8 Rukun Tetangga. Desa Rantau Mapesai membutuhkan peta desa sebagai sumber informasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai penunjang dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pemerintahan di desa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan peta Desa Rantau Mapesai, sehingga dengan adanya peta tersebut dapat diketahui posisi desa terhadap kawasan disekitarnya, mengidentifikasi potensi-potensi desa, dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar 2 JPIn: Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia, 5(2), 2022 © 2022 JPIn: Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia p-ISSN 2722-8134, e-ISSN 2620-8466 pengambilan kebijakan pembangunan desa dan sebagainya. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah melakukan observasi/survei awal dan identifikasi masalah, memperoleh surat pernyataan bersedia kerjasama dengan mitra, tahapan persiapan dan pengambilan data ditigasi serta data pendukung lainnya, pengolahan data, pembuatan layout peta, mengkonsultasikan hasil layout kepada kepala desa beserta perangkat desa dan penyerahan file atau hasil cetakan. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah peta gambar dengan memperlihatkan layout peta informasi geospasial yang dapat ditemui di Desa Rantau Mapesai. Peta Desa Rantau Mapesai ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan penunjang dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pemerintahan di desa.

Abstract

Mortar busa merupakan optimalisasi penggunaan busa (foam) dengan mortar (pasir, semen dan air) yang dikembangkan oleh Pusjatan, pengaruh cangkang sawit sebagai bahan tambahan dalam campuran mortar busa yang mempengaruhi kuat tekan dan berat jenis mortar .Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan cangkang sawit sebagai pengganti sebagian semen terhadap kuat tekan mortar busa dengan campuran 5%, 10%, dan 15%. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen menggunakan alat Uji Kuat Tekan Bebas (UCS), yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk membandingkan kuat tekan dan volume mortar busa dengan hasil job mix dengan mortar busa tambahan abu cangkang kelapa sawit sebagai pengganti sebagian semen, untuk mengetahui campuran yang tepat dan untuk mendapatkan kuat tekan optimum. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penggunaan variasi abu cangkang kelapa sawit menghasilkan mortar busa dengan karakteristik yang berbeda terhadap berat isi adukan mortar busa, kuat tekan dan pemeriksaan flow Penggunaan berbagai variasi abu cangkang sawit sebagai pengganti sebagian semen memberikan pengaruh kuat tekan tertinggi mortar busa yaitu pada persentase 15% dengan umur 21 hari sebesar 8,6 kg/cm2. Semakin tinggi variasi persentase abu cangkang sawit ditambahkan maka semakin tinggi pula berat isi adukan mortar busa. Variasi persentase abu cangkang sawit juga berpengaruh terhadap daya alir dan kuat tekan mortar busa.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to train and guide the skills of West Rengat 1 Vocational School students in an effort to increase competence in the field of drawing with the AutoCAD program because one of the competencies that vocational students must have, especially those majoring in construction and housing engineering, is drawing using the AutoCAD application. The methods used in this training activity include presentation, demonstration, practice and evaluation. The results of the evaluation of this activity were obtained from the assignments given to each student. The instructor checks the images that have been made by all participants including the size and shape of the images. From the initial observation to the final evaluation process, it was found that there was an increase in the knowledge and skills of the students, who initially did not have the ability to draw using AutoCAD, but after the training was given the participants were able to apply the program. The evaluation results showed that as many as 64% of the participants were able to do the drawing assignments that had been given. Keywords: AutoCAD, Competency Improvement, SMK Students.

Abstract

Sand, coarse aggregate, and fine aggregate make up the building material known as concrete. Cement and water are used to bind these components together. The production of building construction is the typical application for using concrete (Atamini & Moestafa, 2018). In this study, researchers used a combination of 1%, 3%, and 5% shells from palms at ages 7, 14, and 21 days to measure the compressive strength of concrete using quality K-225. Concrete that is 21 days old or older because, according to PBI 1974, the strength of concrete is nearly 100% at this age. According to the results of the compressive strength test, the compressive strength of the 1% concrete mixture after 21 days was 238.40 kg/cm 2, the compressive strength of the 3% mixture after 21 days was 236.58 kg/cm 2, and the compressive strength of the 5% mixture after 21 days was 219.44 kg/cm 2. The inclusion of palm shells for quality K-225 can be employed at a mixture of 1% to 3% to obtain the required compressive strength, as can be observed from numerous modifications in the percentage of the combination. Abstract

Rantau Mapesai Village is located in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The village has an area of 5000 ha, consisting of two areas, namely Hamlet I Beringin and Hamlet II Jaya which are divided into 4 Rukun Warga and 8 Rukun Tetangga. Rantau Mapesai Village requires a village map as a source of information that can be used as a support in implementing government activities in the village. This community service activity aims to produce a map of Rantau Mapesai Village, so that with this map it can be seen the position of the village in the surrounding area, identify village potentials, can be used as a basis for making village development policies and so on. The method used in this activity is to conduct initial observations/surveys and identify problems, obtain a statement letter willing to cooperate with partners, the stages of preparation and retrieval of mitigation data and other supporting data, processing data, making map layouts, consulting the results of the layout to the village head and his apparatus. village and submission of files or printouts. The final result of this community service activity is an image map showing the layout of the geospatial information map that can be found in Rantau Mapesai Village. This Mapesai Rantau Village map can be used as a supporting material in the implementation of government activities in the village

Abstract

Jalan Banteng, yang terletak di Kelurahan Kampung Besar Seberang, Kecamatan Rengat, Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu, adalah jalan yang baru dibuka. Saat ini, permukaannya masih berupa lapisan tanah yang dipadatkan. Salah satu bagian yang terpenting dalam proses pembangunan jalan adalah diperlukannya data analisis kepadatan tanah. Untuk mengukur seberapa padat tanah di lokasi proyek, salah satu cara yang umum digunakan adalah metode kerucut pasir. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis kepadatan tanah di area konstruksi dengan metode sand cone (kerucut pasir) guna mendapatkan informasi apakah lapisan perkerasan jalan tersebut derajat kepadatnnya sudah memenuhi standar sebesar 95% (SNI 03-2828-1992). Panjang ruas jalan yang akan dilakukan pengujian adalah ± 550 m dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 12 titik untuk setiap jarak 50 m. Prosedur pengujian kepadatan tanah dengan konus pasir ini merujuk pada SNI 03-2828-1992 dan pengujian kadar air tanah di lapangan menggunakan alat speedy moisture tester mengacu pada SNI 03-1965.1-2000. Berdasarkan hasil derajat kepadatan menunjukkan bahwa pada STA 0+000 sampai dengan STA 0+550 nilainya melebihi 95% dan memiliki nilai rata-rata kepadatan lapangan yaitu sebesar 104,52%. Nilai ini menunjukkan bahwa spesifikasi kepadatan lapangan telah memenuhi syarat, sehingga tahapan pekerjaan berikutnya bisa dilaksanakan.

Abstract

Theodolite training for students at SMKN 1 Kelayang aims to boost their understanding and practical skills in agricultural land mapping surveys. The program kicked off by identifying the school's needs for facilities and infrastructure, especially practical equipment, which directly impacts students' knowledge of land surveying. The training was split into classroom theory and field practice. Theory sessions covered theodolite basics, fundamental mapping survey principles, key components, and functions. Pre-test and post-test results showed a significant jump in student knowledge, from 46.67% to 85.70%. Field practice focused on theodolite operations, including setup, measurement, and data processing. Even though students initially struggled, instructor guidance helped them master these skills. This training does more than just equip students with technical expertise in agriculture and mapping; it also cultivates critical thinking and an awareness of accurate data's importance in managing agricultural land resources, ultimately preparing them to compete in the workforce.
