Abstract

It has been done analysis for the total  phenolic, flavonoid  and tannin compounds at eceng gondok leafs (Eichornia crassipessolms). The research was done in several stages: sample preparation, maceration extraction, evaporation. The total phenolic content analysis by Folin Ciocalteu 50%, flavonoid by chloride aluminium 2% in ethanol, and tanin by vanillin 4% solution in methanol, continued by using ultra violet visible (UV-Vis) spectrophotometry methods. The results showed that the total phenolic content of eceng gondok with methanol 60% of 2.72mg galic acid/kg sample is the high total phenolic content and the lowest phenolic total  at aquades of 1.07mg galic acid/kg and the flavonoid with methanol 80% solution of 3.29mg kuersetin/kg is the high flavonoid content, and the lowest at the aquades of 1.65mg kuersetin/kg and the high condensed tannin content with methanol 80% of 0.7mg katekin /kg. The Fe2+ content photoreduction process, with methanol 60% solution showed the Fe2+  production increase of 17.67ppm, aquades of 2.94ppm. Extract that does not contain eritosin as sensitizer only produce Fe2+ of 5.6ppm and that is not illuminated only 0.06ppm   Keywords: phytochemical, agricultural waste, eceng gondok, biosentizer, ferric photoreduction

Abstract

Perbaikan faktor lingkungan dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sorgum manis, salah satu alternatif yang dapat ditempuh dengan memanfaatkan suberdaya yang telah tersedia. Diantaranya adalah energi radiasi matahari yang berperan dalam proses fotosintesis. Arah baris dan kerapatan populasi tanaman mempengaruhi besarnya energi matahari yang diterima. Sehingga, perlu adanya pengaturan arah baris dan jarak tanam yang tepat agar penerimaan energi radiasi oleh tanaman lebih efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Petak Terbagi (RPT). Penelitian terdiri dari 2 (dua) faktor perlakuan dan 4 (empat) ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah Arah baris timut-barat (TB) dan utara-selatan (US) Sedangkan faktor kedua adalah jarak tanam (JT15, JT30 dan JT45). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan arah baris utara-selatan meningkatkan bobot kering total tanaman umur 53 hst sebesar 36,71% apabila dibandingkan dengan arah baris timur-barat. Jarak tanam secara nyata meningkatkan komponen pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sorgum manis. Pemberian jarak tanam JT45 memberikan bobot segar total tanaman umur 67 hst dan 81 hst sebesar 35,25%, namun tidak berbeda nyata dengan JT30. Pemberian jarak tanam JT45 memberikan bobot kering total tanaman umur 81 hst sebesar 11,30%, apabila dibandingkan dengan perlakuan tanam 75 x 30 cm dan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 40,84% apabila dibandingkan dengan perlakuan jarak tanam 75 x 15 cm. Hasil panen biji kering jarak tanam 75 x 15 cm menunjukkan hasil yang lebih tinggi, dimana rata-rata hasil panen biji kering sebesar 3,84 ton h-1

Abstract

Dalam upaya optimalisasi dan meningkatkan keberhasilan program RASKIN untuk dapat memenuhi hak pangan Rumah Tangga Miskin (RTM), maka perlu dilakukan evaluasi menyeluruh melalui kajian efektivitas program RASKIN. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi yang akurat tentang penilaian masyarakat terhadap pelaksanaan program RASKIN, kemungkinan kenaikan harga tebus RASKIN serta kelayakan kenaikan jumlah kuantum RASKIN yang diterimakan kepada RTM. Hasil Kajian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program RASKINdi Jawa Timur secara umum berjalan cukup baik. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dari ketepatan pelaksanaan yang mencapai 81,9 persen. Kontribusi ketepatan tertinggi diperoleh dari ketepatan administrasi, kualitas, sasaran, waktu, dan harga masing-masing sebesar 94 persen, 84,3 persen, 83 persen, 80 persen, serta 78,3 persen. Sementara itu ketepatan jumlah nilai efektivitasnya paling rendah yaitu hanya sebesar 68 persen. Jumlah kuantum RASKIN yang diterimakan kepada Rumah Tangga Sasaran (RTS) perlu dipertimbangkan untuk dinaikkan. Berdasarkan hasil kajian dapat disimpulkan bahwa jumlah kuantum RASKIN setiap bulan adalah 50 persen dari kebutuhan konsumsi beras yaitu sebesar 20 kg untuk setiap RTS. Hasil kajian juga menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat menyadari adanya kemungkinan kenaikan harga tebus RASKIN, namun diharapkan tidak lebih dari Rp 2.500/kg.In order to optimize and enhance the achievement of RASKIN (Rice for Poor People) program to fulfill food rights for Underprivileged Family (Rumah Tangga Miskin = RTM), it is necessary to perform a comprehensive evaluation through a study on the effectiveness of RASKIN program. This study aims to provide precise information about the outlook of the society toward RASKIN program implementation, the response of RTM on the possibility of increasing RASKIN price and the feasibility of total quantity of RASKIN received by RTM. The result shows that the RASKIN program in East Java is generally implemented well. It can be shown by the suitability of the score of the implementation of the RASKIN that reaches up to 81.9 percent. The highest suitability of implementation is contributed by the precision of the administration, quality, object, time, and price at 94 percent, 84.3 percent, 83 percent, 80 percent, and 78.3 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, the lowest total value of the effectiveness is only 68 percent. The quantum total of RASKIN received by Rumah Tangga Sasaran (RTS) is needed to be raised. Based on this study, it can be concluded that the total quantity of RASKIN per month is 50 percent of the rice consumption i.e. 20 kgperRTS.This study also shows that the society is aware of Raskin price, but it is expected that the price is not more than Rp 2.500/kg.
