Abstract

This research apart from aims to get an overview of the implementation of community empowerment through embodiment of Kampung Seni, also explains the factors that support and obstacle to the government's work in realizing the empowerment program. This research was conducted with the allocation of time for 20 days, on September 30th to October 20th 2021 and located in Nglumpang Village, Mlarak, Ponorogo. The method used is a qualitative-descriptive research approach field studies. Meanwhile, to uncover and study the implementation process community empowerment program as a whole, the author uses the approach case study. The results of the study show not only as legality and law holders important role of the government in realizing the Art Village, but also marketing and promotion, mobilizer and coaching, as well as a role as a facilitator. Efforts made government, among others: 1) activating youth organization management, 2) increasing the role of youth organizations and the community in the preservation of arts and culture, and 3) increasing productive arts including intensive training and coaching of art studios. Supporting factors Kampung Seni policies are: resource assets, both natural and human resources, level awareness of related parties, cooperation and budget. While the inhibiting factor namely: technological developments, busy players, prestige and lazy culture of children youth, passive participation of the community, and limited means of accommodation.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted many countries to utilize all of their national resources to deal with it, including military forces. As an archipelagic country, the Philippines faced geographical and health logistics distribution challenges during the pandemic.In addressing these challenges, the BRP Davao del Sur, a Philippine warship built by PT PAL Indonesia, has played a crucial role in Military Operations Other Than War (MOOTW), particularly in the transportation and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines to remote and hard-to-reach areas. The research methodology employed in this study is qualitative descriptive, utilizing document analysis and purposive sampling interviews. The research findings indicate that PT PAL Indonesia's success not only strengthens the strategic relationship between Indonesia and the Philippines but also expands the reach of Indonesia's defense industry in the international market. The high level of trust from the Philippines has led the rice-producing nation to place another order for LPD-class ships and open new export opportunities to the Middle East, such as the United Arab Emirates. This study underscores that the national defense industry can play a crucial role in strengthening regional military capabilities and addressing non-traditional threats like pandemics. Abstract

Masjid berperan penting sebagai pusat aktivitas keagamaan sekaligus tempat pembentukan karakter generasi muda. Sayangnya, antusiasme pemuda untuk aktif di lingkungan masjid semakin menurun. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh perubahan gaya hidup, kurangnya program yang sesuai dengan minat mereka, serta pendekatan dari pengurus masjid yang kurang inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas sebuah strategi kreatif, yakni program makan gratis, dalam meningkatkan partisipasi serta rasa cinta pemuda terhadap masjid. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi di sebuah masjid yang telah melaksanakan program tersebut. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa program makan gratis tidak hanya memenuhi kebutuhan jasmani, tetapi juga menjadi wadah bagi interaksi sosial dan penguatan spiritual di kalangan pemuda. Inisiatif ini terbukti efektif dalam menarik pemuda untuk rutin hadir di masjid, ikut serta dalam kegiatan keagamaan, serta membangun rasa memiliki terhadap masjid sebagai pusat pembinaan umat. Oleh karena itu, strategi serupa disarankan untuk dikembangkan dengan penyesuaian terhadap kondisi sosial dan budaya masing-masing wilayah sebagai metode dakwah yang inovatif dan berdampak positif.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Service Center (P4MI) Sidoarjo in handling work contract violations against Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) in Malaysia. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview methods with P4MI officers, former PMI victims of contract violations, and analysis of internal documents and relevant regulations. The findings show that P4MI Sidoarjo is quite responsive in receiving complaints and is able to carry out mediation in a neutral and inclusive manner. However, challenges such as limited human resources, pressure from placement companies, limited cross-border access, and weak post-case reintegration programs still hamper the effectiveness of comprehensive PMI protection. Based on the human security framework and Law No. 18 of 2017, this study emphasizes the importance of strengthening institutions, increasing the capacity of officers, and integrating cross-border and post-repatriation protection systems to ensure fair and sustainable protection for PMI.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk bakti sosial yang dilakukan timKUKERTA al-munawwir dapat memberikan manfaat yang luar biasa kepada masyarakat Desa planjan khususnya pembagian sembako bagi yang membutuhkan. Adapun tujuan diselenggarakannya kegiatan tersebut merupakan tahapan untuk menyelesaikan masalah ekonomi yang terjadi di masyarakat. Maka kami kelompok KUKERTA al-munawwir Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Ali bin Abi Thalib Surabaya yang berjumlah 16 peserta membuat kegiatan bakti sosial dengan memberikan paket sembako pada dusun klepu di desa planjan yang kurang mampu dalam masalah ekonomi. Kelompok KUKERTA al-munawwir STAI Ali bin Abi Thalib Surabaya melaksanakan kegiatan pembagian sembako dengan tujuan pembagian sembako yang kurang mampu bisa membantu perekonomian mereka sehingga mereka mampu untuk menjalankan kehidupannya sehari-hari.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab telah terintegrasi ke dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar Islam. Bahasa Arab merupakan bahasa asing yang berkembang seiring dengan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Bahasa Arab ini harus dimulai terhadap peningkatkan minat siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode participatory action research dalam bentuk presentasi dan pelatihan melalui eksperimen menghafalkan mufrodat menggunakan metode drill. Mindset tentang sulitnya Bahasa arab itu sudah tertanam sejak dini pada diri siswa. Akan tetapi melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini, peserta jadi tertarik dan menyenangi pembelajaran Bahasa arab. Berdasarkan hasil sosialisasi dan penerapan pembelajaran kosa kata Bahasa arab di SDIT Al-I’tishom Gunung Kidul menggunakan metode Drill, penulis memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa sosialisasi pembelajaran berhasil dilaksanakan, peserta berhasil memahami cara penggunaan kosa kata melalui praktik langsung terhadap kosa kata yang diberikan, dan minat belajar Bahasa arab menjadi meningkat.

Abstract

This study critically analyzes the differences in the views of Hibah Ra’ūf ‘Izzat and Siti Musdah Mulia regarding women’s leadership from the perspective of contemporary Islamic thought. Using a qualitative method through comparative analysis of primary and secondary texts, this study examines the theological, legal, and sociopolitical dimensions that shape the argumentative framework of each figure. Both agree on the principle of gender equality but take different approaches: Ra’ūf ‘Izzat operates within the framework of normative fiqh while offering selective reinterpretations that allow women’s participation in public spaces based on competence, whereas Musdah Mulia advocates a transformative and emancipatory approach, firmly rejecting patriarchal interpretations and emphasizing the values of justice, equality, and humanity in the Quran as the basis for leadership legitimacy. The findings of this study reveal the dynamics between reformist moderation and structural criticism in contemporary Islamic studies. Its contribution lies in strengthening the discourse on women’s leadership based on Islamic spiritual ethics and modern civil rights, as well as opening up space for reflection on the role of women in the political and religious structures of the Muslim community.
