Abstract

Weather is important but hard to predictlay people and scientists alike will agree. The complexity of system limits the knowledge about it and therefore its predictability even over a few days. It is complex because many variables within the Earthsatmosphere, such as temperature and they do so nonlinearly. B-spline as a basis for one-dimensional regression and we extend this paper by using B-spline to construct a basis for bivariate regression. This construction gives a basis in two dimensions with local support and hence a fully flexible family of fitted mortality surfaces one of the principal motivations behind the use of B-spline as the basis of regression is that it doesnot suffer from the lack of stability that can so bedevil ordinary polynomial regression. The essential difference is that B-spline have local non-zero support in contrast to the polynomial basis for standard regression. Abstract

General Regression Neural Network (GRNN) merupakan salah satu model jaringan radial basis yang digunakan untuk pendekatan suatu fungsi. Model GRNN termasuk model jaringan syaraf tiruan dengan solusi yang cepat, karena tidak diperlukan iterasi yang besar pada estimasi bobot-bobotnya. Model ini memiliki arsitektur jaringan yang baku, dimana jumlah unit pada pattern layer sesuai dengan jumlah data input. Salah satu aplikasi GRNN adalah untuk memprediksi nilai return saham dari indeks Euro 50 CFD (Contract For Difference). Indeks Euro 50 CFD (Contract For Difference) digunakan sebagai patokan harga saham dari 50 perusahaan terbesar di zona Eropa. Para investor melakukan investasi di saham indeks Euro 50 CFD (Contract For Difference) dengan harapan mendapatkan kembali keuntungan yang sesuai dengan apa yang telah di investasikannya. Dengan menggunakan model GRNN diperoleh bahwa nilai RMSE dan R2 untuk data training sebesar 0,00095 dan 99,19%. Untuk data testing diperoleh nilai RMSE dan R2 sebesar 0,00725 dan 98,46%. Berdasarkan nilai prediksi return saham dua belas hari ke depan diperoleh kerugian tertinggi atau capital loss pada 15 Desember 2014 sebesar 5,583188% dan profit tertinggi atau capital gain pada tanggal 10 Desember 2014 sebesar 2,267641% Kata Kunci: GRNN, Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan, Return Saham, Indeks Euro 50, Kerugian Tertinggi, Profit Tertinggi, Prediksi

Abstract

Ketahanan Energi adalah suatu kondisi terjaminnya ketersediaan energi, akses masyarakat terhadap energi pada harga yang terjangkau dalam jangka panjang dan tidak terpengaruh oleh gejolak regional maupun internasional. Menjadi negara maju, Indonesia harus dapat mendorong sektor industri sebagai penggerak perekonomian negara. Kebutuhan energi di sektor industri dan komersial diprakirakan tetap mendominasi untuk jangka panjang. Sebagai sektor penunjang pergerakan perekonomian, sektor transportasi juga terus meningkat.Konsumsi energi menurut jenis selama tahun 2000 sampai dengan 2015 masih didominasi oleh BBM (avtur,avgas,bensin,minyak tanah, minyak solar, minyak diesel, dan minyak bakar). Permasalahan energi yang terjadi saat ini adalah dibutuhkan alternatif baru yang dikenal sebagai energi baru terbarukan (EBT). Berdasarkan analisis dengan single exponential smoothing (SES) dengan menggunakan  = 0.359680 dapat disimpulkan bahwa perencanaan energi perlu dilakukan supaya dapat menjamin ketersediaan  energi dengan harga terjangkau untuk jangka panjang. Potensi energi terbarukan seperti tenaga air,panas bumi, angin, surya, samudera, maupun biomasa dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk memenuhi permintaan energi yang semakin tinggi. Berdasarkan skenario dasar, penyediaan EBT meningkat dengan pertumbuhan lebih dari 14% per tahun atau meningkat lebih dari enam kali lipat dari 102 juta SBM pada 2012 menjadi 629 juta SBM pada 2035. Pada 2012, sebagian besar dari EBT dipenuhi oleh dari biomasa, diikuti oleh tenaga air, panas bumi, dan BBN. Namun pada akhir periode 2035, panas bumi untuk pembangkitan listrik akan menjadi EBT utama, disusul secara berturut turut oleh hidro, BBN, dan biomasa. Jenis EBT yang lainnya seperti CBM, CTL, angin, tenaga surya, nuklir, dan kelautan yang sebelumnya tidak muncul di tahun 2015 mulai mengisi bauran energi nasional, walaupun persentasenya masih kecil.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan aspek fundamental yang perlu diperhatikan  Tujuan utama dari pendidikan adalah peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) baik secara personal maupun komunal. Pencerminan dari kualitas SDM yang unggul salah satunya diindikasikan dengan pencapaian prestasi seorang individu pada saat menempuh pendidikan mulai dari tingkat dasar hingga tingkat tinggi. Prestasi belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri dan fakor yang berasal dari luar diri siswa. Faktor yang terdapat dalam diri siswa adalah intelegensi, motivasi, minat, bakat, kondisi fisik, sikap dan kebiasaan siswa. Sedangkan yang termasuk faktor yang berasal dari luar diri siswa adalah keadaan sosial ekonomi, lingkungan, sarana dan prasarana, guru dan cara mengajarnya. Pada penelitian ini digunakan analisis jalur yang merupakan bentuk modifikasi dari analisis regresi dimana variabel bebas yang diteliti tidak hanya mempengaruhi variabel terikat secara langsung, tetapi juga dapat mempengaruhi variabel tersebut secara tidak langsung. Variabel-variabel bebas tersebut memiliki pengaruh langsung dan pengaruh tak langsung terhadap variabel terikat. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa  untuk meningkatkan nilai rata-rata UN variable uang saku dan lama akses internet menjadi hal yang perlu diperhatikan oleh guru dan juga pihak lainnya yang terlibat pada pendidikan selain itu diketahui dari pengaruh tidak langsung.Kata kunci: prestasi, siswa, analisis jalur, pendidikan PATH ANALYSIS ON FACTORS INFLUENCING STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENTAbstractOn the one hand, education is a fundamental aspect to pay attention. The main purpose of education is the improvement of the quality of human resources (HR) both personal and communal. The reflection of the superior quality of human resources is indicated by the achievement of individual achievement at the time of education starting from the basic level to high level. Student achievement is influenced by factors that come from within self and that comes from outside. The factors contained within students is the intelligence, motivation, interests, talents, physical conditions, attitudes and habits. Likewise, the factors that come from outside the student is the socio-economic conditions, environment, facilities and infrastructure, teachers and how to teach. Apart from that, In this study, we used path analysis which is a modified form of regression analysis where the independent variables studied not only affect the dependent variable directly but also can affect the variable indirectly. These independent variables have a direct and indirect effect on the dependent variable. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that to increase the average of the national exam (UN) the variable of allowance and time of internet access become primary factors that need to be considered by teachers and also other parties involved in education other than it is known from indirect influence.Keywords: Achievement, Student, Path Analysis, Education

Abstract

Background: There can no longer be any doubt that adolescents do indeed have body esteem problems. Several types of research seem to suggest that this wrong behavior caused by some negative perceptions as a result of dissatisfaction with the body and a person’s level of self-confidence. Therefore they often do misperceptions of his/her body that can lead to wrong dietary behavior. It’s related to the development of more severe body image and eating-related problems.Objective: This study determined the relationship of body image perception and eating disorders in adolescents.Method: A cross-sectional study was applied in this study. The subjects were 120 new students majoring in a nutritional program in Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). They completed a questionnaire measuring appearance evaluation, appearance orientation, body areas satisfaction, overweight preoccupation, self-classified weight and eating disorders. Multidimensional Body Self-Relations Questionnaire-Appearance Scale (MBSRQ-AS) method is used to assess body image perception and Eating Attitude Test 40 (EAT-40) to predict eating disorders.Results: Descriptive analysis showed nutritional status were categorized as normal (83.3%), overweight (10.0%), obesity (4.2%) and thin (2.5%). With MBSRQ-AS method, most of the adolescents have appearance evaluation (80.0%), appearance orientation (99.2%), body areas satisfaction (80.8%), self-classified weight (71.7%) were categorized as negative, whereas overweight preoccupation (57.5%) were categorized as positive. There was (7.8%) female subject with eating disorders with more risk or have attitude the desire to eat continuously and can’t stop eating (2-3 times a month).Conclusion: Statistically using a significance level (α=5%) obtained a significant correlation between body image perception in overweight preoccupation subscale with eating disorders. However, there were no significant correlations for other subscales.

Abstract

This study aims to (i) Conduct studies and issue civil servant pension fund in Indonesia. (ii) Getting a great value of pension benefits and the present value of pension benefits, (iii) Obtain a plan termination liability and the value of actuarial liabilities. (iv)Obtain normal tuition fees in the defined benefit pension plan and to explain and illustrate the surcharge on funding defined benefit pension plan. Based on this analysis it can be concluded that the calculation of pension funds based on the age of employees is currently appointed as civil servant (y), age of employees (x), limits the retirement age of employees (r), full time of employees (t), the remaining period of the retirement (rx), and a starting salary of employees can be using the concept accured benefit Cost. The government needs to do a review of employee pension payment system should be given attention to the value of the interest rate, large pension benefits, the value of pension benefits, the value of liabilities termination plan and to consider interest rates that do not burden the state budget (APBN).

Abstract

In order to support the economy in Indonesia, the government takes the role in formulating fiscal policy, monetary or non-monetary. In addition, it is necesarry also deep concern related to inflation. This is because when inflation is high, the price of goods and services export become relatively more expensive and lead to domestic products and services can not compete with goods and services from abroad. Exports will also tend to descrease followed by an increase in imports from other countries are likely to increase . province of riau and Riau island border with malaysia and sinagpore. Geographical location adjoining give effect to the value of exports and imports Indonesia. Based on the analysis by modeling based on generalized spatio time series it was concluded that in order to control the inflation rate can be done by maintaining adequate supply and distibution of essential commodities. Lowering inflation expectations remained at a high level and perform industrial production to the maximum and do the consumption of local product.

Abstract

This research was motivated by Nusantara Jaya Expedition activities which were followed by Researcher and organized by the Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in Natuna. The abundant natural resources in Natuna are mainly marine wealth and fisheries, which are then targeted by the Indonesian government as Indonesia's maritime axis so that more in-depth analysis. The purpose of this study is to find out which areas have similar closeness and will make it easier for LPDB to map potential areas in Natuna. This study involved three dependent variables consisting of GRDP, UN, and Number of Fisheries Households. Then it meant 12 independent variables comprising Capita Expenditures, Poverty Index, Population, Micro Business Number, Total Business, Number of Traders, Number of Cooperatives, Production, Number of Aquaculture Households, Motorless Boats, Outboard Motorboats, and Motorboats. All analysis objectives can be answered using the principal component analysis biplot. Biplot is a method to make images in many dimensions of space into images in two-dimensional areas. The first Biplot obtained 77.28 percent of the total diversity of actual data. The interpretation of the main component of the biplot produced can explain very well the relationship between the rate of GDP in Natuna District to capita expenditure and the poverty depth index and the Gini ratio in Natuna. In the second Biplot obtain 82.17 percent of the total diversity, which means that it was able to explain 82.17 percent of the United Nations Against Population, Number of Micro Businesses, Total Businesses, Traders, Number of Cooperatives. In this analysis also found four dimensions of regions that have similar relationships, making it easier for LPDB to map the potential of the area in Natuna as Indonesia's maritime.

Abstract

The exposure rate to air pollution in most urban cities is really a major concern because it results to a life-threatening consequence for human health and wellbeing. Furthermore, the accurate estimation and continuous forecasting of pollution levels is a very complicated task.  In this paper, one of the space-temporal models, a vector autoregressive (VAR) with neural network (NN) and genetic algorithm (GA) was proposed and enhanced. The VAR could tackle the issue of multivariate time series, NN for nonlinearity, and GA for parameter estimation determination. Therefore, the model could be used to make predictions, such as the information of series and location data. The applied methods were on the pollution data, including NOX, PM2.5, PM10, and SO2 in Taipei, Hsinchu, Taichung, and Kaohsiung. The metaheuristics genetic algorithm was used to enhance the proposed methods during the experiments. In conclusion, the VAR-NN-GA gives a good accuracy when metric evaluation is used. Furthermore, the methods can be used to determine the phenomena of 10 years air pollution in Taiwan.
