Abstract

The coronavirus pandemic has affected not only health but also the economy. The use of big data in finding information can be used to gain profits that logistics companies can utilize to survive during the pandemic. This study conducted text-mining research on service consultant sites in the logistics sector. This study aims to present frequency diagrams, analyze sentiment using the National Research Council (NRC) lexicon, present bigrams, and seek knowledge about strategies to minimize shipping costs and maintain inventories of manufactured goods. The words "supply", "chain", and "COVID-19" are words that are used frequently throughout the article. The results of this study showed that the words that often appear from word excavation are the words "supply", "chain", "logistics", "kpis," and "inventory". Then emotion trust becomes an emotional word that often appears in articles. The words "Supply" and "pandemic" are the words that seem the most positive and negative words, respectively. The words "COVID-19", "safety stock", and "inventory management" are words that often appear together. Abstract

Keywords: BOS; Regresi Berganda; Prestasi; Pendidikan

Abstract

The contribution of the manufacturing sector to Indonesia’s GDP reaches more than 20 percent. However, Indonesia has challenges to increase the productivity of workers who work in the industrial sector. The Omnibus law requires the assistance of foreign workers to work in Indonesia so that technology and expertise transfer happen. Foreign workers are believed to have a spillover effect in the form of skills and technology transfer through Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). FDI in the manufacturing sector allows an increase in labor productivity as a result of the spillover effect in the form of the transfer of skills and technology. This study aims to examine the impact of FDI spillover by making a comparison between labor productivity in companies whose ownership is dominated by foreign and domestic. Using data used from a large medium industry survey in 2010-2014. The method used in this research is panel data regression analysis with a cross-section of 28 industry subcategories derived from ISIC and a 5-year time series from 2010-2014, when the manufacturing sector became a source of growth in Indonesia of more than one percent. The results are in general FDI has a positive effect on labor productivity in companies whose ownership is dominated by foreign and domestic ownership. Meanwhile, FDI spillovers on labor productivity did not occur in companies whose ownership was dominated by domestic but occurred in companies whose ownership was dominated by foreigners.

Abstract

This bibliometric analysis focuses on the vehicle routing problem (VRP) model in the field of logistics delivery. The study utilizes a comprehensive dataset of 2,000 VRP-related publications obtained from the Scopus database, spanning the years 2007 to 2023. Through the application of bibliometric methods, this research aims to uncover key insights regarding research trends, country contributions, and recent topics within the VRP research network. Various bibliometric indicators, including publication count, author productivity, relevant sources, institutional affiliation, and citation frequency, are employed to conduct the analysis. The findings shed light on the evolution and trajectory of VRP research, while also highlighting noteworthy countries and topics that have received significant attention. This study not only enhances the overall understanding of VRP but also serves as a foundation for future investigations aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics delivery.
