Abstract

Pengelaman sastra Melayu di Patani Selatan Thai di bawah pemerintahan yang bukan Melayu terjadi lebih dari 100 tahun lamanya. Dasar Siamisasi yang pelopori oleh Phibul Songkram dalam menyatukan seluruh bangsa jajahannya dengan dasar 1 Siam, 1 bahasa dan 1 budaya telah membunuh kekayaan seni budaya dan keindahan kesusasteraan Melayu. Namun kesusasteraan Melayu sangat penting bagi bangsa Melayu Patani kerana bahasa dan sastra merupakan jati diri dan identitas bangsa Melayu Islam di Patani. Masyarakat Patani sendiri tidak membedakan antara bahasa dan sastra. Apabila bicara tentang sastra di Patani secara tidak langsung akan membicarakan tentang bahasa Melayu. Dalam setiap upacara dan acara baik keagamaan maupun perkawinan, sastra menjadi menu wajib baik di tingkat rendah maupun di tingkat yang besar. Sastra tidak dapat dipisahkan dari hidup masyarakat Melayu di Patani sehingga sastra merupakan sebahagian keyakinan dan kehidupan orang Melayu Patani. Walaupun orang-orang Melayu Patani sudah kehilangan negeri yang berkerajaan dan mengamalkan Melayu tetapi orang Patani masih teguh dengan bahasa dan kesusastraan Melayu.

Abstract

AbstrakPenguasaan Perbendaharaan kata Bahasa Melayu Standard sangat penting. Bahasa Melayu berdistribusi luas di wilayah Selatan Thai dan digunakan sebagai bahasa formal, iaitu untuk pengajaran formal berbagai-bagai pengetahuan agama Islam. Setelah kerajaan Thai mewajibkan seluruh sekolah pondok menggunakan bahasa Thai dalam pembelajaran bidang akademik, kerajaan Thai mulai memberi gaji kepada guru yang mengajar mata pelajaran sekular yang bersifat akademik. Kedudukan bahasa Melayu sebagai bahasa ilmu telah terjejas kecuali dalam bidang agama. Masa persekolahan,  pelajar Melayu di Patani terlalu banyak menggunakan bahasa Thai dibandingkan dengan bahasa Melayu. Pemahaman berkait dengan latar belakang pendidikan pelajar-pelajar Melayu di Patani adalah amat penting, iaitu bagi memahami tahap pendedahan dan penggunaan Bahasa Melayu Standard (BMS) dalam kalangan pelajar Melayu. Bahawa pelajar Melayu di sekolah pondok di Patani amat lemah menguasai perbendaharaan kata dalam BMS. Kelemahan menguasai perbendaharaan kata dalam BMS sudah pasti berimpak negatif kepada penggunaan BMS pada merit yang baik atau memuaskan. Kata Kunci: Perbendaharaan bahasa Melayu standard, Pelajar Melayu, Sekolah pondok, PataniAbstractThe understanding vocabularies and structures of standard Malay Language is very important. Malay language contributed widely in the northern part of Thai and it is practiced by people formally.  That is to teach about various knowledge of Islam. After Thai kingdom required all religious schools to use Thai language in all subjects. Thai government also starts to pay salary to every teacher who teaches secular subjects. Except religious subjects, Malay language has decreased. Thai language is practiced in schools rather than Malay language. The understanding about the background of students of Patani is very important because it is related to their knowledge to use Standard Malay language.  Their understanding in Standard Malay Language is very low. It is then giving negative impact on the use of Standar Malay Language in daily life.Key words: Vocabulary of Standar Malay Language, Malay students, Religious School, Patani.

Abstract

This paper is the result of an investigation that aims to 1) synthesize social problems in Patani i.e., the three southern border regions of Thailand (known as Patani), 2) compose poems that reflect social problems, and 3) create youth responsibility for social problems in the southern border regions of Thailand. This research is quasi-experimental research. The instruments used in this research are 1) a synthetic form of social problems in the three southern border provinces of Thailand, 2) a contemporary Malay poet PUISI assessment form, and 3) a PUISIDRA competition rubric assessment model. The sample group used in the study was A total of 120 youths in the southern border provinces conducted self-data collection, there are 3 stages in the process, consisting of 1) pre-writing poetry, 2) poetry writing process, and 3) post-responsibility stage of social problems. The results showed that the synthesis of social problems in the three southern border provinces of Thailand into 10 problems, as follows: 1) education problem 2) security problem 3) violence problem 4) drug problem 5) adultery problem 6) technology problem 7) religion problem 8) filial piety problem 9) economic problem and 10) corruption problem. There are also poetry compositions reflecting social problems. The poems that have been written are 100 poems, which amount to 124 pages. Abstract

The Islamic Law on Family and Inheritance of 1946 was enforced only in the four southern provinces of Thailand consisting of Pattani, Narathiwat, Yala and Setun Provinces. Islamic law applies only to the plaintiff, defendant or applicant who submits a request must be Muslim. The problem of law enforcement consists of the lack of clarity in the terms of membership of the Provincial Islamic Committee in the 1997 Law on the Administration of Islamic Organizations. The problem of setting the condition that requires Datok Qadi to be alone in deciding matters of Islamic law. Datok Qadi's decision is absolute and cannot be appealed. The problem of limiting the enforcement of Islamic law can only be enforced in court. Solving the problem in avoiding the legal inconsistency can be done by expanding the enforcement of family and inheritance law outside the court. In addition, there is also a need for legal reform, both the Islamic Law on Family and Inheritance of 1946 and the 1997 Law on Administration of Islamic Organizations which are clearer.Hukum Islam tentang keluarga dan warisan 1946 hanya diberlakukan di empat provinsi selatan Thailand yang terdiri dari Provinsi Pattani, Narathiwat, Yala dan Setun. Hukum Islam hanya berlaku bagi penggugat, tergugat atau pemohon yang mengajukan permohonan harus beragama Islam. Masalah penegakan hukum terdiri dari ketidakjelasan ketentuan keanggotaan Majelis Ulama Provinsi dalam Undang-Undang Tahun 1997 tentang Penyelenggaraan Ormas Islam. Masalah pengaturan kondisi yang mengharuskan Datok Qadi sendirian dalam memutuskan perkara hukum Islam. Keputusan Datok Qadi adalah mutlak dan tidak dapat diganggu gugat. Masalah pembatasan penegakan hukum Islam hanya bisa ditegakkan di pengadilan. Pemecahan masalah dalam menghindari inkonsistensi hukum dapat dilakukan dengan memperluas penegakan hukum keluarga dan waris di luar pengadilan. Selain itu, perlu juga dilakukan pembenahan hukum, baik UU Keluarga dan Kewarisan tahun 1946 maupun UU Administrasi Ormas tahun 1997 yang lebih jelas.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the misuse of non-standard Malay Standard (BMS) phrases among private religious school students (pondok schools), yarang district, Pattani Region, Pattani Region. This research is deemed necessary because the status of Standard Malay in the education system in Thailand even in the Patani (South Thai), the majority of Malays, the Malay language status far below the status of Thai language. The findings of the research show five types of phrase-use mistakes, mistakes for using (i) phrases that use foreign words, (ii) phrases whose structure violates the Malay phrase structure, (iii) phrases that represent omission, Which is incompatible with Malay words, and (v) phrases that illustrate Malay grammar errors.

Abstract

This action research was conducted to help first-year Malay Language Major students in understanding and mastering the use of punctuation marks for capital letters, commas and punctuation in writing Malay sentences. Color technique is used in this study. The study sample in this action study consists of five students who are facing problems with the use of reading marks through the results of the review of exercise books and student activity books. Research data was collected through three types of instruments, namely through structured observation, structured interviews and document analysis. The results of data analysis found that all study participants showed improvement in understanding and mastering the use of punctuation marks for capital letters, commas and full stops. Through the observation instrument, it was found that the study participants showed a high interest and concentration in using color techniques while doing worksheet activities. As for the interview instrument, it shows that the study participants better understand the concept of using three types of reading marks, and are interested in color techniques. The instrument through document analysis also showed that all study participants successfully mastered the use of punctuation marks. Overall, the results of the study show that the use of color techniques can help students to understand and master the use of reading marks effectively

Abstract

The development of digital technology has triggered changes in the way people learn in various educational institutions, both formal and informal. The development of digital technology has encouraged students to improve their academic performance or learning achievements. Several problems, however, can arise, from the gap in the ability of students to master digital technology, the ability to provide technological infrastructure, the competence of top-level management and the ability of the IT department to determine the success of digitalization. One learning model that can be utilized in physical distancing policy is Web-Based Learning (WBL). WBL is a learning model that can be used without limitation of time, space, and learning resources. WBL was developed by using the Research and Development (RnD) with a 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) approach. To develop WBL products, we used the unified modeling language (UML), flowcharts, and context diagrams. The product was tested which included product validity testing, practicality testing, and product effectiveness testing. The testing results showed that the product was valid, practical, and effective to be used as a guide for developing and implementing WBL in order to improve students' academic performance.

Abstract

This study addresses the issues of the low level of learning independence of students, especially in understanding abstract chemical materials such as chemical bonds, as well as limited learning time, which often results in suboptimal comprehension and the omission of some sub-materials. In addition, the use of media in the learning process rarely incorporates technological advancements. This study aims to determine if a website integrated with Moodle can enhance the learning independence of students in chemical bonding material. This study employed the research and development method using the 4D model, which comprises four stages. However, this study only included three stages, namely define, design, and develop. The target population consisted of 29 eleventh-grade high school students. The instruments used to collect data were validation sheets, an independence questionnaire, and pretest-posttest assessments. The feasibility of the integrated chemistry learning website with Moodle was evaluated through validity and effectiveness tests. The validity test involved three validators, consisting of two lecturers and one teacher. Meanwhile, the effectiveness was analyzed using the n-gain from the results of the independence questionnaire and pretest-posttest assessments. The results of this study indicated that the chemistry learning website integrated with Moodle significantly enhanced the learning independence of students with the validation results of 5 for content validity and 4 for construct validity, while the n-gain results from the independence questionnaire and pretest-posttest assessments fall into the high category. In conclusion, this media effectively promoted independence across five indicators of learning independence.
