Abstract

Background: Hypertension is the most common disease experienced by the community and usually appears without complaints so that many clients do not know that they have suffered from hypertension. Until now Hypertension is still a major problem and is the first cause of death in the world. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the family assistance model in improving the PENSIKU (knowledge, attitudes and behavior) of clients and families in treating hypertensive hypertension. Methods: The study design used quasi-experimental Non-Randomized Control Group Pre-Test Post Test Design on 120 hypertensive clients and 120 families. The instrument used in this study was the PENSIKU questionnaire. Equality analysis before intervention and control group models was performed with an independent t-test with α = 0.05. To determine the change in the average value of the intervention and control groups using the dependent t-test. Results: The results showed that the Family Assistance Model was effective in improving the PENSIKU (knowledge, attitudes and behavior) of clients and families in treating hypertensive hypertension. This is shown by the increase in client PENSIKU (knowledge, attitudes and behavior) by 7.1% and family PENSIKU (knowledge, attitudes and behavior) by 5.8%. Conclusions: This model is recommended to be implemented in all community health center areas as an effort to control hypertension.

Abstract

Strategies for solving the stunting problem so far are still limited to curative and rehabilitative targets for targets who have been diagnosed with stunting. A problem strategy is needed that focuses on promotive and preventive efforts targeting the community (community) so that the chain of stunting can be broken. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the Gerinting movement in Kab. Mojokerto. The design of this research is a quasi-experimental one group pretest posttest design. The research subjects were determined using purposive sampling, namely posyandu at UPT. Jetis Health Center. Data collection uses a questionnaire. The results of the normality test showed that the data was not normally distributed. Hypothesis testing used the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that there was an increase in the mean knowledge score of mothers before the Gerinting movement was 32.80 (SD=9.768), after the Gerinting movement the mean knowledge score was 87.10 (SD=5.677) and the mean action score of mothers before mentoring was 25.83 (SD = 19.122), after providing assistance in the form of counseling, demonstrations and practicums to cadres, the average action score increased to 79.17 (SD = 9.476). In the statistical test results, there was a significant difference before and after the intervention was given with a value of 0.000, (p<0.05). This shows that there is an influence of the Gerinting movement on mothers' knowledge and actions regarding stunting.

Abstract

One intervention that can help speed up the progress of labor is giving acupressure. Providing complementary therapy to birthing mothers is considered safer and has minimal side effects compared to invasive therapy. The acupressure method effectively reduces pain and strengthens contractions, prevents the transmission of harmful stimuli, increases the amount of endorphins in the blood and speeds up the process of labor. If the progress of labor is not handled properly, it can cause birth complications. The aim of the research was to determine the difference between the Li 4 and Sp 6 acupressure points on the duration of the first stage of labor. The research design uses a quantitative descriptive research type with a quasi-experimental design. The sample in this study was 45 respondents. The hypothesis used to test the difference between two means with the right-hand test is the t test if the data distribution is normal with a probability value ≥ 0.05 and if the data distribution is not normal with a probability value < 0.05 then use the Man Whitney test. The research results obtained, Output "Test Statistics" Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05, so there is a significant influence between SP6 point acupressure on the duration of the first stage of labor in the active phase. Meanwhile, the output "Test Statistics" acupressure point LI4 with Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05, so there is a significant influence between LI4 point acupressure on the duration of the first stage of labor in the active phase. The results of the research are that it is hoped that health workers can use the acupressure method at points SP6 and LI4 to speed up the duration of the 1st stage of labor. This method is included in the application of maternal care to speed up the labor process.

Abstract

Hipertensi sering disebut “Silent Killer” (Pembunuh Siluman), karena pada penderita seringkali merasakan suatu gangguan/gejala tanpa diketahui penyebabnya. Semakin tua seseorang pengaturan metabolisme zat kapur (kalsium) didalam tubuh terganggu, sehingga banyak zat kapur yang mengalir bersama darahmenyebabkan elastisitas arteri berkurang. Hypertension is a disease that often attacks the elderly due to the regula- tion  of  lime  metabolism  (calcium)  in  the  body  is  disturbed,  resulting  in arteriosclerosis.  Hypertension  sufferers  need  to  get  hypertension  drug therapy  to  prevent  arteriosclerosis.  But  the  fact  is  that  people  who  are bored take medication for hypertension due to the high dependency and price of drugs, so change determiner more economical and have minimal side effects, one of which is using Ambon banana.
