Abstract

Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify the perspectives of three schools of thought regarding the implementation of the land pawn system. This research was conducted in Cibeureum District. The research approach used is qualitative. The study shows that although the Ijab Qobul is performed verbally in the local language, its implementation complies with Islamic law. Other aspects concerning the Rahin and Murtahin are also regulated under Islamic law, as both parties are considered mature, sane, and legally aware. In Islamic law, land is also considered a valid form of collateral, making the marhun legitimate. If the pawnee excessively utilizes the land, such actions are deemed inappropriate and invalid according to Islamic law. This is because it involves exploiting misfortune, which is unjust for the “Rahin” and entirely contradicts the principles of Muamala.

Abstract

The snack-based MSMEs in Winduraja Village possess significant economic and tourism potential but face challenges in product innovation and packaging. This community service activity aims to develop innovative products based on MSMEs as a local culinary identity and as part of a strategy to strengthen the village tourism sector. A participatory-collaborative approach was employed, involving MSME actors and village institutions through stages of observation, needs analysis, product design, and a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Local products such as comring, glass chips, and tempeh chips were developed with new flavor variants, attractive packaging, and names reflecting Sundanese cultural identity. The results include the creation of a distinctive village culinary brand and enhanced synergy among stakeholders. Participatory evaluation indicated increased MSME involvement, a sense of ownership, and encouragement of sustainable production initiatives. This program demonstrates that product innovation, combined with the FGD approach, can strengthen MSME competitiveness and build the village’s image as a community-empowered tourism destination.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the role of entrepreneurship in poverty alleviation through an analysis of community economic empowerment programs and policies. The research method used involves a literature study as well as an empirical data search related to the implementation of economic empowerment programs in various regions. The results show that entrepreneurship plays an important role in improving people's economic welfare by creating jobs, increasing access to capital, and encouraging innovation. However, the evaluation also revealed several challenges, such as lack of government support, limited technological infrastructure, capital constraints, and lack of social marketing strategies in rural areas. Therefore, this study suggests the need for collaboration between the government, private sector, and communities in implementing effective economic empowerment policies to address poverty in a sustainable manner.
