Abstract

This study generally aims to describe the management performance of post-certified elementary school teachers in Minahasa District. In more detailed objectives of this study are: (1) describe the performance of post-certified elementary school teachers in Minahasa District; (2) describes the development of post-certification elementary school teachers in Minahasa District. This study uses a qualitative approach, with descriptive methods and the type of research used in this study is a case study. Research using this qualitative approach researchers act as instruments as well as data collectors. The location used is the Minahasa District Education Office. The education office in Minahasa District is the oldest education office in North Sulawesi. The type of data collected in this study is narrative, data explanation from informants both oral and data in the form of written documents. Data collection techniques used in this study were participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive data analysis using interview transcripts, field notes and other materials so that researchers present their findings. The results of this study indicate that the management of elementary school teacher performance can be carried out well under the leadership of the Head of the Department of Education so that the performance of post-certified elementary school teachers can be well maintained.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of learning facilities at home on the learning achievement of high-class students at Inpres Primary school of Tara-Tara 2, Tomohon Barat District, Tomohon City. This research is a quantitative research with the type of ex post facto research. Quantitative research is a method for testing certain theories by examining the relationship between variables. This method is called the quantitative method because the research data is in the form of numbers and the analysis uses statistics. Learning facilities at home have a positive effect on learning achievement, meaning that every addition to learning facilities at home will increase learning achievement. If there is a decrease in learning facilities at home, it will decrease learning achievement. This is reinforced and supported by a significance value smaller than the alpha value, namely 0.000 <0.05, meaning that learning facilities at home have a positive and significant effect on learning achievement. Furthermore, it can be seen that the results of t arithmetic are greater than t table, namely 4.400 > 2.018, meaning that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted so this shows that learning facilities at home have a positive and significant influence on the learning achievement of high-class students at Primary school Inpres Tara-Tara 2. Learning facilities in the homes of high-class students at Primary school Inpres Tara-Tara 2 have an effect of 31.6% on the learning achievement of high-class students at Primary school Inpres Tara-Tara 2, while the rest is influenced by other factors not included in this study, which is 68.4 % means that the hypothesis Ha is accepted that learning facilities at home affect the learning achievement of high-class students at Primary school Inpres Tara-Tara 2.

Abstract

Learning is a process of effort carried out by a person to obtain a new behavior change as a whole, as a result of his own experience in interaction with the environment. The teaching process in the classroom is an interaction between teachers and students. Interaction in the classroom can be carried out properly if students understand the material presented by the teacher. The inductive thinking learning model includes a learning model that is included in the information processing model, where students provide responses that come from their environment by organizing data, formulating problems, building concepts and problem-solving plans and using verbal and non-verbal symbols. This model provides students with a number of concepts, tests hypotheses, and focuses on developing creative abilities. In this activity, the implementation method is carried out in the form of: training, workshops and mentoring. The method used in training, workshops and mentoring is in the form of a cycle which is carried out in five stages, namely: the planning stage, the action stage, the observation stage, the reflection stage, and the follow-up stage. Training activities and the development of new learning models for teachers will certainly build teachers' mindsets on how important it is to design learning, apply learning theory and determine learning strategies, mastery of scientific material, mastery of school curriculum and syllabus, special methods of learning in the field of study, and insight into ethics and professional development

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model on Indonesian language learning achievement for Class V at Hati Kudus Sonder Catholic Elementary School. Research in this study is a quantitative approach. This method is called the quantitative method because the research data is in the form of numbers and the analysis uses statistics. The conclusions obtained from this study indicate that the average learning outcomes between students who are taught using the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model are compared to learning outcomes before using the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model in Indonesian language subjects in class V at Hati Kudus Sonder Catholic Elementary School. This is indicated by the average pretest score which only reached 37.22. In the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model, the average student learning outcomes in the post-test reached 84.72, which means that it exceeds the Minimum Completeness Criteria standard both individually and classically which is determined to be 75. From this data, it shows that the average difference in the increase in the result score pre-test and post-test in the research class has difference of 47.50.

Abstract

In learning Indonesian at the elementary level of education, there are four basic skills that must be owned by the learners, namely; listening, writing, reading and speaking skills that are the foundation of skills that can also be implemented in other fields or subjects. This study is aimed at improving one of the language skills of reading. What is done in the fourth grade of St. Catholic 2 St. Joseph Woloan who has a total of 17 students. The purpose of this research is to improve students' skill especially reading skill by applying one of cooperative learning model that is Complete Sentence. This model emphasizes the completeness of sentences through stories they have read before that can be done through the form of group discussions. This research applies classroom action research methods that include stages; planning, execution, observation and reflection, then the four stages are referred to as a cycle of activity and in this study activities are carried out in two cycles to obtain more accurate data from the first cycle and second cycle. Classically the result of the first cycle achievement was 68.82% and in the second cycle increased to 87.05%. From the results of data analysts obtained shows that the improvement of learning outcomes of Indonesian students through the use of Complete Sentence learning model has increased significantly.

Abstract

This research aims to improve Indonesian language learning outcomes through the application of a demonstration learning model for fourth grade students at SD Kr.1 Tumobui. The method used in this research is classroom action research (PTK). By using a spiral model. From Kemmis and Mc Taggarat with four stages: (1) Planning, (2) Action, (3) Observation, (4) Reflection. The subjects of this research were fourth grade students at SD Kr. Tumobui. The data collection technique used in this research is the observation technique (observation and test). Meanwhile, the data obtained will be analyzed by calculating the percentage and average of student learning outcomes. The research results showed that the achievement of learning outcomes in cycle I was 66.6%, in cycle II it had increased to 87.5%. Thus, the application of the demonstration learning model can improve speaking learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SD Kr. 1 Tumobui

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian language of grade IV students of SD GMIM 1 Madidir through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This study uses a classroom action research (CAR) method consisting of four stages, namely: Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection. The subjects of this study were grade IV students of SD GMIM 1 Madidir. Data collection techniques were in the form of observation and tests. The results of the first cycle of the study showed 67.32% and the second cycle showed 85.17%. The success of this study cannot be separated from the efforts of teachers in using learning models that are appropriate to the needs of students, namely Problem Based Learning (PBL). Thus, it can be said that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian language in grade IV students of SD GMIM 1 Madidir.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas IV SD GMIM V Tomohon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). PTK membagi satu siklus prosedur setiap siklus teridiri dari 4 tahap yaitu : Perencanaan, Tindakan, Observasi, dan Refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan tes. Subjek penelitian pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SD GMIM V Tomohon. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu siklus I mencapai 69,09% atau 12 siswa yang tuntas di mana hasil ini belum mencapai nilai ketuntasan yaitu 75% sehingga penelitian dilanjutkan pada siklus II. Terjadi peningkatan pada siklus II yaitu 88,77% atau 22 siswa yang tuntas hal ini menunjukan bahwa siswa sudah mencapai bahkan melebihi standar ketuntasan yaitu 75%. Jadi kesimpulannya penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesi pada siswa kelas IV SD GMIM V Tomohon.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to use the Project Based Learning Model to Improve the Reading Skills of Class III students at SD GMIM 24 Manembo-nembo. Researchers used a classroom action research design (PTK) according to Kemmis and Mc. Taggart (Zainal Aqaib, 2006: 31) includes four stages, namely: (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection which is carried out in two cycles. The subjects of this research were class III students at SD GMIM 24 Manembo-nembo using the Project Based Learning learning model. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and tests, namely by directly observing the implementation of learning actions and written tests to determine the extent to which students were able to understand the material from the two cycles. The data analysis technique uses the . formula. The results obtained in cycle I reached 37.03%, while in cycle II student learning outcomes reached 100%. Students understood and were able to achieve the expected learning objectives. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that teachers at GMIM 24 Manembo-nembo Elementary School are expected to apply the Project Based Learning learning model to improve students' reading skills in class III at GMIM 24 Manembo-nembo Elementary School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SDN Inpres Girian Bawah melalui model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu: Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Observasi, dan Refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas V SDN Inpres Girian Bawah. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian siklus I menunjukan 66,78% dan siklus II menunjukan 85,17%. Keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini tidak terlepas dari usaha guru dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa yaitu Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS). Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas V SDN Inpres Girian Bawah.
