Abstract

Background: The Muhammadiyah Bandung Hospital is grappling with substantial obstacles in delivering healthcare services, notably in the domain of patient registration. A critical concern is the burgeoning queues stemming from offline admissions processes. Notably, the utilization of Mobile JKN for registration is markedly low, despite its potential to mitigate these issues. Purpose: The objective of this research is to identify the determinants that shape outpatients’ intentions to employ Mobile JKN for online registration and scheduling. The aim is to foster and augment the adoption of Mobile JKN for outpatient services at the Muhammadiyah Hospital in Bandung. Methods: Employing the modification of Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework, and incorporating satisfaction as an additional variable, this study analyzed survey data from 426 outpatients at Muhammadiyah Bandung Hospital using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to assess the interplay among the variables. Results: Findings reveal that Social Influence (SI), Trust (T), and Satisfaction (S) exert a direct and substantial impact on the intention to utilize Mobile JKN. Conversely, performance expectancy (PE), effort expectancy (EE), facilitating conditions (FC), and perceived risk (PR) were found to have no significant influence on the intention to use Mobile JKN. Conclusion: These insights provide actionable guidance for healthcare service providers, particularly at Muhammadiyah Bandung Hospital and similar institutions, to enhance their understanding of outpatient behaviors in relation to the adoption of Mobile JKN for online registration and appointment scheduling.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has brought significant transformations across various industries and reshaped how consumers interact. This study highlights the role of AI-based chatbots and analytics in shaping marketing strategies and customer service. Chatbots enable round-the-clock service, support multiple languages, and reduce operational costs. Meanwhile, AI-driven marketing facilitates a more personalized approach by leveraging data to predict consumer needs, accelerate decision-making, and influence purchasing behavior, despite the inherent risk of bias. Grounded in the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) model, this research focuses on the influence of AI on brand preference in the context of Islamic banking in Indonesia. The study aims to support Islamic banks in designing AI-driven marketing activities and formulating more effective branding and marketing strategies. A survey was conducted with over 400 respondents. The findings reveal that consumers appreciate the speed and personalization offered by AI-powered services; however, they remain aware of AI’s limitations in emotional understanding. This indicates that while AI enhances engagement, further development is needed to create more emotionally intuitive AI-driven experiences.

Abstract

This study develops and tests a social-media–driven model explaining how destination social-media promotion shapes destination image and attractiveness, enriches tourist experience quality, and drives in revisit intention to tourism destination in Bandung Regency. A quantitative, cross-sectional survey of recent visitors was analyzed using PLS-SEM to estimate the measurement and structural relations. Results show that social-media promotion significantly improves destination image and attractiveness; both subsequently strengthen experience quality, which emerges as the strongest predictor of revisit intention. Reliability and validity diagnostics meet recommended thresholds, and the model explains a substantial share of variance in revisit intention. As a managerial output, the paper proposes a digital tourism marketing model that operationalizes the verified pathway by integrating S-O-R with the AIDA journey—translating attention and interest captured online into desire and action, then aligning on-site delivery with expectations formed on social media to convert engagement into repeat visitation.

Abstract

Worries related to financial problems often cause sufferers to experience stress. Stress due to a series of financial problems has increased public awareness of the importance of avoiding personal financial distress. This creates opportunities for unique business development, which can contribute to understanding strategies for strengthening wise management of personal finances. This research aims to provide an understanding of the formation of factors that influence personal financial distress and examine the moderating role of gender. Data was collected through an online questionnaire from 352 Muslim millennials who live in the most populous province in Indonesia, namely West Java. Through the use of PLS for data analysis, this research reveals that religiosity, financial literacy which includes financial knowledge and behavior have a significant effect on personal financial distress. Furthermore, this research shows that gender does not moderate the relationship between religiosity and financial literacy on personal financial distress. These findings provide guidance for financial organizations, governments and educational institutions to jointly improve educational programs that support integrated religious and financial education activities, so that they can contribute to helping society improve their financial management wisely in accordance with sharia principles, and at the same time, contributing to reducing the impact of financial distress.

Abstract

Currently, there are still heated discussions regarding the low level of sharia financial literacy and inclusion, which causes a lack of competitiveness. At the same time, Indonesia is entering an era of demographic bonus, which can be seen from the large number of millennial generations and a Muslim population of 237.56 million people (86.7% of the total population). This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods to collect data from a sample of the millennial generation in Indonesia. The research instrument is a questionnaire designed to measure the level of Islamic financial literacy and use of Islamic financial products and services. Data analysis was carried out using the SmartPLS tool to test the relationship between Islamic financial literacy and Islamic financial inclusion. The validity and reliability of the instrument were tested before data collection to ensure the accuracy of the research results. The research results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between Islamic financial literacy and Islamic financial inclusion. Millennials with a high level of Islamic financial literacy tend to be more active in using sharia financial products and services. This research has important implications for stakeholders, including governments, financial institutions, and educational organizations, to strengthen Islamic financial literacy programs to encourage wider participation in the Islamic financial system.
