Abstract

This paper describes the high downtime on continuous blanking machines. The result is that companies suffer losses in cost, human resources, and time. Therefore, companies need to implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). TPM aims to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing companies. Then the TPM itself needs to be evaluated. One of the methods used is the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) as an indicator of the machine's effectiveness by calculating the six big losses to determine the factors that influence the six factors of the six big losses. Based on research that has been done, the machine availability ratio is 99%, performance efficiency is 84%, product rate of quality is 83%. While the value obtained on the OEE calculation is 71%, the value is below the world's ideal OEE standard value of > 85%. The highest loss values for six big losses are idle and minor stoppage losses with a percentage of 62.73%, setup and adjustment losses of 14.38%.

Abstract

3D printer technology is being widely used in various manufacturing industries. 3D printers can produce three-dimensional products made of plastic sheets with a certain diameter called filaments. 3D printer filaments that are widely used are made of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) plastic. The purpose of this research is to develop a Creatics plastic waste processing machine to produce products in the form of filaments that can be used as materials in 3D printers, so that they have more economic value and are environmentally friendly. Creatics machine is an integrated plastic waste processing machine that converts plastic waste into recycled products. In this study, the Teorija Rezhenija Izobretatelskih Zadach (TRIZ) method is used as a product development method to determine product specifications that are able to generate new ideas by eliminating contradictions and using innovative principles that can produce creative solutions. In the process of selecting alternative concepts, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) decision-making method is used. The results obtained by the TRIZ method are important parameters and need to be prioritized in designing a filament extruder, namely product reliability, energy use from moving objects, and product strength. The product design chosen based on the AHP method is a filament extruder made of stainless steel to be resistant to rust and utilizes the fan in the filament cooling process.Keywords - AHP method, Creatics machine, Filament extruder, Plastics waste, TRIZ method

Abstract

Masker yang tersedia dan digunakan oleh tenaga kesehatan saat ini harus dipakai berlapis- lapis dan membuat tidak nyaman bila dipakai dalam waktu yang lama, dengan permasalahan tersebut maka diperlukan alat perlindungan diri (APD) yang aman sekaligus nyaman digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi diketahui permasalahan mitra adalah kurangnya APD khusus bagi dokter dan tenaga kesehatan lainnya yang secara langsung menangani pasien Covid 19 dan sebagian besar menggunakan masker sekali pakai, serta kurangnya APD yang memadai dan nyaman bagi dokter atau perawat yang berusia lanjut, yang terpaksa berhenti melakukan layanan karena kurangnya peralatan pelindung diri. Solusi yang diberikan Universitas Al Azhar Indonesia adalah membuat dan mendistribusikan alat APD yang dapat mengurangi penggunaan masker sekali pakai, dan alat yang dibuat dan didistribusikan harus memiliki kenyamanan dan keamanan yang baik terutama pada tenaga kesehatan yang berusia lanjut. Program ini meliputi persiapan alat, pendistribusian dan evaluasi. Hasil dari solusi yang di berikan adalah Universitas Al Azhar telah mengembangkan produk dari hasil penelitian yaitu “Respira PAPR V.1” untuk mengurangi penggunaan masker sekali pakai pada tenaga kesehatan di rumah sakit dan instansi Mitra. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, produk ini memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman pada penggunanya terutama pada tenaga kesehatan yang berusia lanjut hal ini. Jumlah Produk PAPR yang didistribusikan sebanyak 30 unit di enam rumah sakit dan instansi kesehatan. Secara umum produk “Respira PAPR V.1” dapat diterima oleh mitra dan dapat dimanfaatkan mitra dalam pelayanan kesehatan. Saran untuk program selanjutnya adalah produk “Respira PAPR V.1” ini dapat dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan penggunaan terutama pada desain dan fitur-fitur.Kata kunci: APD, PAPR, Produk, Rumah sakit, Masker

Abstract

Abstract – Baterai berbahan Lead Acid (BLA) digunakan pada hampir semua kendaraan termasuk angkutan umum beroda empat. Kecepatan penuaan pada proses penuan BLA sangat dipengaruhi oleh cara penggunaan BLA. Pengisian yang berlebihan, akan mengakibatkan korosi dan mempercepat  penguapan  air. Bertambahannya siklus pembebanan dalam (depth of discharge), degradasi massa postifif akan terakselerasi. Beberapa kerusakan Selain itu pembebanan yang berlebihan juga akan mengakibatkan lepasnya masa positif dari grid karena proses pembebanan BLA yang melebihi seharusnya. Keawetan BLA pada Angkutan umum perkotaan sangat ditentukan pola penggunaannya. Karakteristik operasional yang sering menuntut kendaraan berhenti akan memiliki pengaruh jenis kerusakan tertentu pada komponen BLA Penelitian ini akan mengeksplorasi karakterristikoperasional angkutan perkotaan. Dengan diketahuinya karakteristik operasionalnya maka dapat disiapkan langkah antisipatif dan prediktif  dalam hal perawatan dan penggunaan BLA sehingga masa servis BLA akan lebih panjang serta meningkatkan efisiensi biaya para pemilik angkutan perkotaan. Keywords – BLA (Lead Acid Battery), transportasi perkotaan, masa servis BLA Abstract - Lead Acid batteries (BLA) is used for most of all public transport vehicles including four-wheel drive. Speed of aging battery  is strongly influenced by operational pattern and maintenance of public transport vihicle. Overcharging, will result in corrosion and accelerate the evaporation of water. With more loading cycles in the (depth of discharge), positive mass degradation will be accelerated. Moreove,  excessive load will also result in the release of a positive mass of the grid due to the excessive load can be taken by battery. The durability of the Battery on urban public transportation is also determined patterns of use. For example, operational characteristics a vehicle that often requires stopping  would have the effect of certain types of damage to the components of the battery.  This study will explore urban transport operational characteristics. By knowing the operational characteristics, a set of procedures can be set up in order to prevent premature loss of battery capacity. By using apropriate predictive maintenance procedure, the life span of battery will be longer, thus will  improve the cost efficiency for starter lead acid battery replacement.  Keywords – BLA (Lead Acid Battery), urban transport, service life BLA

Abstract

Efficiency in using plastic injection technology, especially within small to medium enterprises, is a very difficult target to achieve.  One of the contributing factor to the high cost of  using this technology is the trial and error nature of constructing the plastic mold which directly affect machninig cost and longet production cycle time.  The trial and error scheme can be significantly reduced and even eliminated with the application of concurrent engineering method supported by virtual prototype based CAD (computer aided design) and CAE (computer aided engineering).  Virtual prototype technology gives way to product analysis, design and material optimization, and proses parameter optimization prior to implementing the manufacturing process.  Therefore, we can anticipate all potential manufacturing flaws during the design process.  It is then expeceted to reduce machning and production process cost, increase product quality to boost up Company’s competitive advantage.

Abstract

The production process of a tool is very important in a manufacturing company, especially in producing medical equipment. The use of medical masks by health workers in handling COVID-19 patients for hours will make medical personnel uncomfortable when wearing them, one of which is congestion. Therefore, the LCC RESPIRA V.01 PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator) was produced, designed by Mr. Ahmad Juang Pratama, who is a lecturer at Al Azhar University Indonesia. In the production of LCC RESPIRA V.01, a standardization of the production process is needed, so that the reliability of the product can be guaranteed. For this reason, the design of the SOP (Standard Operational Procedure) and the layout of the production floor are carried out in the production process of the LCC RESPIRA V.01 tool. The results of this study include the design of a production SOP in which several departments take part in it, namely team leader, head of the production, production operator, research and development department, head of the warehouse, and quality control department. Besides, a production floor layout design is obtained, where the total production floor area is 8.2 x 6.0 m2 with manual and trolley material handling types.Keywords – Covid-19, Layout production floor, Medical equipment, Standard operational procedure

Abstract

Abstrak–Pengecasan dengan menggunakan teknik pulsa arus adalah salah satu teknik yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi kehilangan kapasitas aki secara prematur. Teknik ini bisa mempercepat proses pengecasan aki dan memperpanjang siklus hidup sebesar 3 sampai 4 kali dibandingkan dengan pengecasan konvensional dengan arus konstan. Lebih panjangnya siklus hidup baterai berbahan lead acid (BLA) ini dikarenakan teknik pulsa tegangan bersifat sebagai desulfator yaitu pengurai Kristal senyawa timbal sulfat (PbSO4) yang menempel pada elektroda dan menjadi penyebab utama BLA kehilangan kapasitas secara prematur. Penelitian dilakukan untuk melihat efek pemulihan / desulfator, dimana BLA yang sudah lemah karena sudah terpakai di treatment dengan pulsa tegangan akan mengembalikan kapastias simpan BLA, menggunakan prototype yang telah dibuat. Dari eksperimen yang dilakukan terlihat peningkatan nilai Daya starter dan peningkatan durasi pembebanan pada BLA. Abstract – Battery charging using pulse technique is a technique that can be used to overcome the premature loss of battery capacity. This technique can speed up the process of charging and extended battery life cycle 3 to 4 times compared with conventional charging using constant current. The Longer  life cycle of Lead Acid Battery is because the technique has desulfator effect. Voltage pulse decomposite timbale sulfate (PbSO4) attached to the electrode which is  the main cause of the premature loss of capacity . This study will investigate the effects of the recovery of battery capacity for used weak Lead Acid Battery. Voltage pulses will be applied to the battery using a charger/desulfator prototype. The experiment results show that there is improvement of Cold Cranking Amps Level and Load time duration of the Lead Acid Battery. Keywords – BLA(Lead Acid Battery) desulfator, pulse voltage, lead sulfate

Abstract

Abstrak - Di industri ini, berbagai jenis persediaan disimpan dan dipesan. Jenis produk atau barang atau bahan baku yang bisa bertahan lama, begitu juga sebaliknya. Produk atau barang atau bahan bakunya tidak tahan lama atau memiliki siklus hidup yang pendek. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Tentukan 5 produk yang menempati prioritas tertinggi dalam permintaan produk dengan menggunakan diagram Pareto, dan (2) tentukan jumlah pesanan pelanggan sayuran untuk mendapatkan keuntungan maksimal dengan jumlah Tunggal Order. Hasil plot data dari berbagai jenis sayuran yang telah dipilih adalah sayuran ceri tomat merah, bayam hijau, edamame, dua tomat, dan tomat baru-baru ini karena memiliki jumlah permintaan yang tinggi dibanding sayuran lainnya. Sayuran yang paling diminati adalah sayuran tomat ceri merah dengan total permintaan 30.000 bungkus, sebesar 27.000 bungkus bayam hijau, edamame berjumlah 26.800 bungkus, sebanyak 21.700 bungkus tomat, dan tomat baru-baru ini 16.650 bungkus. Manfaat dalam sayuran tomat ceri merah seharga Rp2.925.000 pada setiap pemesanan saat jumlah permintaan sebesar 6.150 bungkus. Keuntungan pada sayuran hijau bayam seharga Rp346.875 pada setiap pemesanan saat jumlah permintaannya berjumlah 26 850 bungkus. Keunggulan pada edamame hijau seharga IDR262.618 pada setiap pemesanan saat jumlah permintaan 650 bungkus. Kenaikan harga sayur nabati sebesar Rp3.333.333 pada setiap pemesanan saat jumlah permintaan 3.650 bungkus. Kenaikan harga sayuran tomat baru mencapai Rp1.462.500 pada setiap pemesanan saat jumlah permintaan sebesar 3.000 bungkus.Kata Kunci – Permintaan, Pemesanan, Keuntungan, Gudang, Barang Tahan Lama, Single Order QuantityAbstrak – In the industry, various types of supplies are stored and booked. Results plot data from a wide variety of vegetables that have been selected are vegetable red cherry tomatoes, green spinach, edamame, tw tomatoes, and tomatoes recento because it has a high number of requests compared to other vegetables. The vegetables most high demand is the red cherry tomatoes vegetables with a total demand of 30,000 packs, amounting to 27,000 packs of green spinach, edamame amounted to 26,800 packs, amounting to 21,700 packs tw tomatoes, and tomatoes recento of 16,650 pack. Benefits in the red cherry tomatoes vegetables for IDR2.925.000 on every booking when the number of requests amounted to 6,150 pack. Gains on spinach green vegetables for IDR346.875 on every booking when the number of his request amounted to 26 850 packs. Advantage on the greens edamame for IDR262.618 on every booking when the number of requests for 650 packs. Gains in tomato vegetable tw for IDR3.333.333 on every booking when the number of requests 3,650 pack. Abstract

There are several agencies that have not utilized information technology as a medium to increase productivity and learning for human resources. One of them is at PT. PLN (Persero) UIP JBB – UPP JBB 1 Lontar there are obstacles in collecting constraints that arise in the construction sector. The collection of obstacles is still done manually using spreadsheets, and sometimes HR is confused about which obstacles should be discussed at weekly meetings, and the distribution of information related to obstacles is not yet comprehensive to every employee. One solution in processing and providing information systems is in the form of a website. Based on these problems, this research uses a Knowledge Management System (KMS) to collect, store, process and disseminate knowledge so that the information obtained is more accurate and efficient. Assisted by the Socialization, Externalization, Combination, Internalization (SECI) model which can be used in building an application is the basis for creating knowledge and transferring theory. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that KMS can be applied as an information system to manage any obstacle data that arises in the construction sector at UPP JBB 1 Lontar. There are features required on a website based on the SECI model, including a column for proposing follow-up on constraints, a constraint data document, and an urgent risk column in the Externalization process, a menu feature for downloading constraint data in the Combination process, as well as a constraint and proposal data feature in the Internalization process.Keywords – Knowledge Management System (KMS), SECI Model, Use Case Diagram, Website

Abstract

Plastic to Solar (PLATOS) machine is a machine that processes plastic waste or used oil into fuel through a pyrolysis process. Based on observations made, pure diesel produced by the PLATOS machine has a very cloudy color or brownish black. Therefore, to get clearer fluid, a purification process is needed, one of which is by using bentonite powder. Bentonite powder used is Bleaching Earth Bentonite which can bind or absorb dirt and unwanted materials in oil or diesel, so that oil or diesel becomes paler and clearer. The heating method is used in the purification trial using a blow torch fire flame gun and an aluminum pan as a diesel fuel container. This study aims to observe the extent of the effect of using bentonite to improve the quality of diesel fuel that has been produced. The research was conducted by conducting 4 times the purification process with the same amount of bentonite and diesel weight of 20 grams and 1 liter. Based on the experiments that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the diesel produced has specifications that are within the limits of diesel specifications set by the Director General of Oil and Gas. Overall, the results of these specifications can state that the use of bentonite powder with heating methods up to 100o C can improve the quality of diesel fuel well.Keywords – Bentonite, Purification Process, Pyrolysis, Solar.
