Abstract

Arm muscle strength and power are determinants in performing movements that require the achievement of success in performing a service effort and smash in volleyball games. Volleyball is a dynamic sport with a high level of intensity in performing movements and strategic techniques, either currently or survive when attacked. In this study to have the strength and the muscle?s power you need to have burble and rubber exercise.This research aims to analyze 1) the effect of rubber and burble training for arm muscle Strength and of volleyball player. 2) The effect of rubber and burble training for arm muscle power of volleyball player. The objects of this research are 30 junior volleyball players in Official Training Center Branch (Puslatcab), Sumenep.This research uses quantitative research by using quasi experiment method. The research used a matching only design. The One way Anova is used to analyze the data. The data is collected by using test. Push up test is used to measure arm muscle strength and Ball Medicine Throw is used to measure the power in the pretest and post test.Result: 1) On increasing the strength of the arm muscles of Anova test results stating F-count > F-tabel, or 37.227 > 3.35. it can be concluded that there are significant differences between the groups of rubber, the burble group and the control group. 2). On increasing muscle power arm of the Anova test results stating F-count > F-tabel, or 16.773 > 3.35. it can be concluded that there are significant differences between the groups of rubber, the burble group and the control group.Conclusion. Rubber exercise more effective at increasing muscle power rather than exercise arm burble and control. While exercise is more effective burble to increase muscle strength and rubber sleeves

Abstract

According Midtlying (1992: 8) through the principles of mechanics swimmers can understand a swimming motion that is so effective that will help improve performance. Colwin (1997: 20) argues that the process of training in the sport swimming, basic knowledge of hydrodynamics and biomechanics are important elements that must be mastered by the coach to help swimmers improve speed.Furthermore freestyle, a basic stroke. This means renangan freestyle is a technique that should be taught prior to the swimmer, before learning swimming techniques butterfly, backstroke and breaststroke. For applications in biomechanics, movement freestyle summarize all the basic principles of biomechanics.Some opinions may be summarized that the coaches of sports swimming understand and master the principles of biomechanics is the most important factor in the preparation of the training program. This is because the sport is a kind of sport that moves a highly technical and complex must be trained to athletes throughout the training process, it takes not only physical ability to swim fast, but also requires a technical ability renangan good and true as a supporter.Therefore biomechanical approach would be very wise to come up with a new method of movement so that the effectiveness of the results of the movement will continue to rise so that the world record will continue to rise, although it is not as easy as turning the hand.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah (1) untuk mengetahui keefektifan total body resistance exercise model ascending terhadap peningkatan kekuatan dan power , (2) untuk mengetahui keefektifan total body resistance exercise model descending terhadap peningkatan kekuatan dan power, (3) untuk mendapatkan informasi empiris seberapa besar perbedaan pengaruh total body resistance exercise model ascending dan descending terhadap peningkatan kekuatan dan power. Sampel penlitian mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga FIK Unesa usia 18 – 20 tahun yang masih aktif dengan jumlah 20 orang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu.Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan matching only design, accu force plate untuk mengukur power otot tungkai, dan lempar bola medicine 3 kg untuk mengukur power otot lengan.Hasil penelitian: 1) kekuatan otot lengan; kelompok model ascending memberi peningkatan sebesar 5,7 poin. 2) Kekuatan otot tungkai ; kelompok model ascending memberi peningkatan sebesar 29,3 kg. kelompok model descending memberi peningkatan sebesar 24,6 kg. 3) Power otot lengan ; kelompok model ascending memberi peningkatan sebesar 0,6 meter. kelompok model descending memberi peningkatan sebesar 0,8. 4) Power otot tungkai ; kelompok model ascending memberi peningkatan sebesar 9,1 watt. kelompok model descending memberi peningkatan sebesar 16,4 watt. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan total body resistance exercise pada kelompok model ascending terhadap peningkatan kekuatan, dan power, 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan total body resistance exercise pada kelompok model descending terhadap peningkatan kekuatan, dan power, 3) hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan efektifitas yang signifikan diantara kelompok model descending, dan descending terhadap peningkatan kekuatan, dan power. Dimana, pada kelompok model descending memberikan pengaruh yang lebih besar dibandingkan pada kelompok model ascending pada peningkatan kekuatan otot lengan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of concentration and balance on shooting under basketball of Taruna Sumenep club players. This study uses a non-experimental research type with a correlational research design. The research instrument used a Grid Concetration Test questionnaire for concentration variables, 30 seconds of shooting under basket, and a balance test. The sample of this study amounted to 12 athletes, with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used correlation product moment. The results showed that there was no relationship between concentration and under basket with the significance value of 0,364. For the balance variable with under basket the significance value is 0,940, which means there is no relationship. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that there is no significant relationship between balance and under basket and concentration with under basket.

Abstract

This study explores the significant relationship between arm muscle strength and body weight on smash accuracy in young volleyball athletes at PBV. Pelopor Muda, aged 15-16 years. Using correlational research design and descriptive statistical analysis as well as Pearson correlation, this study involved twelve athletes as a sample. The results showed that arm muscle strength contributed 52.2% to smash accuracy, while body weight showed a negative correlation of -0.700, which accounted for 49% of the variation in smash accuracy. These findings emphasize the importance of muscle strength in producing effective and accurate attacks, which can affect the outcome of a match. In addition, maintaining an ideal body weight is important to help athletes achieve better balance and stability during the game. This study emphasizes that muscle strength and weight management should be a focus in training programs to optimize athlete performance. Further discussion in this document links previous literature linking physical attributes to performance in volleyball, thus reinforcing the importance of structured training and athletic development in young populations. Further research is recommended to explore the interaction of other factors that influence performance, including overall physical fitness and nutritional strategies, in order to achieve a holistic training approach. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that muscle strength and body weight are important factors that directly affect the accuracy of volleyball smashes, and training interventions tailored to these attributes can improve the technical execution of volleyball skills.Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan signifikan antara kekuatan otot lengan dan berat badan terhadap ketepatan smash pada atlet bola voli muda di PBV. Pelopor Muda, berusia 15-16 tahun. Dengan menggunakan desain penelitian korelasional dan analisis statistik deskriptif serta korelasi Pearson, penelitian ini melibatkan dua belas atlet sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan otot lengan berkontribusi sebesar 52,2% terhadap ketepatan smash, sedangkan berat badan menunjukkan korelasi negatif sebesar -0,700, yang menyumbang 49% terhadap variasi ketepatan smash. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kekuatan otot dalam menghasilkan serangan yang efektif dan akurat, yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil pertandingan. Selain itu, menjaga berat badan ideal penting untuk membantu atlet mencapai keseimbangan dan stabilitas yang lebih baik selama permainan. Penelitian ini menekankan bahwa kekuatan otot dan pengelolaan berat badan harus menjadi fokus dalam program latihan untuk mengoptimalkan performa atlet. Diskusi lebih lanjut dalam dokumen ini mengaitkan literatur sebelumnya yang menghubungkan atribut fisik dengan performa dalam bola voli, sehingga memperkuat pentingnya pelatihan terstruktur dan pengembangan atletik pada populasi muda. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk mengeksplorasi interaksi faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhi performa, termasuk kebugaran fisik secara keseluruhan dan strategi nutrisi, guna mencapai pendekatan pelatihan yang holistik. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan bahwa kekuatan otot dan berat badan adalah faktor penting yang secara langsung mempengaruhi ketepatan smash dalam bola voli, dan intervensi pelatihan yang disesuaikan pada atribut-atribut ini dapat meningkatkan eksekusi teknis keterampilan dalam bola voli.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of traditional games Gobak Sodor and Bentengan in physical education as a medium for character learning for fifth grade students at SDN Pangarangan III Sumenep. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive nature, where data is collected through interviews with the principal, physical education teachers, and students, as well as direct observation during learning activities. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of traditional games in physical education contributes to strengthening students' character, especially in aspects of cooperation, sportsmanship, leadership, and responsibility. The Gobak Sodor game emphasizes team coordination and defensive strategies, while Bentengan trains courage and the ability to make decisions quickly. Although there are obstacles such as limited playing fields and students' understanding of the rules of the game, teachers are able to overcome these challenges by modifying the rules and strategies of the game. In addition, students show high enthusiasm for the implementation of this game in learning, because traditional games are considered more interesting and fun than conventional physical activities. Therefore, traditional games can be used as an alternative learning method in physical education that not only improves students' physical fitness but also strengthens important character values ​​in life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat keterampilan servis atas pada permainan bola voli di kalangan siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler bola voli di MI Al-Imamiyah Lebeng Timur. Servis atas merupakan teknik dasar yang sangat penting dalam permainan bola voli karena dapat mempengaruhi jalannya permainan dan keberhasilan tim. Keterampilan servis yang baik memerlukan teknik yang tepat dan latihan yang konsisten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisis keterampilan motorik. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes keterampilan servis atas yang dilakukan pada 30 siswa yang terdaftar dalam ekstrakurikuler bola voli MI Al-Imamiyah Lebeng Timur. Setiap siswa diminta untuk melakukan servis atas sebanyak 10 kali, yang kemudian dinilai berdasarkan kriteria teknik, akurasi, dan kekuatan servis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa masih berada pada tingkat keterampilan yang cukup (57%), sementara 30% lainnya menunjukkan keterampilan yang kurang, dan 13% siswa berada pada tingkat keterampilan yang baik. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil ini antara lain kurangnya latihan intensif, pemahaman yang belum mendalam mengenai teknik servis atas, dan keterbatasan fasilitas latihan. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan frekuensi latihan dan memperbaiki metode pembelajaran yang digunakan, agar siswa dapat meningkatkan keterampilan servis atas mereka secara lebih efektif. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi positif bagi peningkatan kualitas ekstrakurikuler bola voli di MI Al-Imamiyah Lebeng Timur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi keseimbangan dan power otot tungkai terhadap kemampuan tendangan T atlet pencak silat PSN perisai putih ranting batang-batang, baik secara individu maupun secara bersamaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 20 atlet laki-laki yang bergabung di PSN perisai putih ranting batang-batang. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment dan koefisien determinasi untuk mengukur besarnya kontribusi, secara uji prasyarat berupa normalitas dan linearitas. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa keseimbangan memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap kemampuan tendangan T pencak silat sebesar 0,557 (korelasi sedang). Selain itu power otot tungkai memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap kemampuan tendangan T pencak silat sebesar 0,527 (korelasi sedang). Keseimbangan dan power otot tungkai secara bersamaan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 0.693 (korelasi kuat).
