Abstract

Abstract :  Area and perimeter in plane gometry are one of the subjects in the study of mathematics in class VII of SMP / MTs. The mathematics learning system in Indonesia  generally is not emphasized in solving the problem, but on procedural matters. Students are trained to memorize formulas, but less understood and mastered its application in solving a problem. This study aimed to describe the profile of students understanding of area and perimeter which are used in solving mathematical problems in terms of the level of emotional intelligence. The big difference in emotional intelligence on each student, it is possible to affect the level of student understanding. This research was conducted in class VII MTsN Ketanggung Ngawi. Research subjects consisted of 3 students were selected from the results of the questionnaire of emotional intelligence, which is one students with a high level of emotional intelligence, one students with the level of emotional intelligence is and one student with a low level of emotional intelligence. This study is a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection in this study was done by using a questionnaire, the results of the written test and interview-based tasks. The validity of the data is done by time triangulation. The main instrument in this study is the researchers themselves who aim to seek and collect data directly from the data source, and Insrument help in this research is the emotional intelligence questionnaire instruments, sheet student comprehension task, and interview guides. The results showed that students with high emotional intelligence and are entered on a relational level of understanding, and students with low entry level of emotional intelligence on the level of instrumental understanding. Abstract

This research aims to find out the right method as a solution for students whose abilities are limited in learning, knowing the obstacles that are obstacles for students both internal and external. This research was conducted in 2 (two) cycles, cycle I to obtain general data that would be used as a sample in the implementation, cycle II which was the researcher's success point. This research was carried out for eight weeks. Based on the results obtained in the second cycle has shown significant results with excellent categories. In this study used several relevant methods using a collaborative approach that is students are encouraged to be able to accept others, face challenges, and work in teams. After being tested on several elementary schools in Subulussalam City, the collaborative system is very effective in finding solutions to students' difficulties in learning. So, the product in the form of a collaborative approach can be used for subsequent research with the hope that it can function as a step in solving problems in learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat melalui  Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik yang dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa fakultas agama Islam Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara, mengadakan kegiatan pelatihan bagi guru dalam upaya pengembangan inovasi pembelajaran Al Quran. Salah satu bentuk upaya tersebut dengan menggunakan metode Ustmani. Metode ustmani ini merupakan metode yang menggabungkan antara tiga metode yaitu metode riwayah, metode belajar membaca Al-Qur‟an dan metode dirayah. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini diharapkan Masyarakat dan tenaga pendidik bisa memahami metode lain yang bisa digunakan dalam belajar Al Qur’an, dan merasakan hal baru dalam belajar al Quran sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas membaca al-Quran

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman tentang masa iddah menurut Kompilasi Hukum Islam (KHI) dan Undang-Undang Nomor 16 Tahun 2019, serta menganalisis perbedaan di antara keduanya. Masa iddah merupakan salah satu bentuk syariat Islam dalam menjaga keharmonisan rumah tangga dan meminimalisir dampak perceraian. Dalam KHI, masa iddah diklasifikasikan menjadi iddah karena kematian, perceraian, dan menyusui, sedangkan dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 16 Tahun 2019 hanya mencakup iddah karena kematian dan perceraian, tanpa menyebutkan masa iddah karena menyusui. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan (library research). Data diperoleh melalui analisis dokumen dari berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal, artikel, dan undang-undang yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan substansial antara KHI dan Undang-Undang Nomor 16 Tahun 2019 terkait cakupan masa iddah, yang mencerminkan pendekatan hukum yang berbeda dalam merespons dinamika sosial dan kebutuhan umat.
