Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Health seeking behavior is one of the factors that influence the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship with the incidence of treatment-seeking behavior of Tuberculosis in North Sulawesi province based on basic health research in 2010. Method: The design of this study used a descriptive approach correlative. The research sample is total sampling of all basic health research respondent data in 2010 in the province of North Sulawesi aged ≥15 years amounts to 2319 respondents. The analytical method used univariate and bivariate. Results: The results showed the incidence of pulmonary TB in North Sulawesi province is 11 people (14.1%), and respondents who continued treatment of TB program eight (10.3%). Conclusion: There was a relationship between the incidence of treatment-seeking behavior of pulmonary TB (p=0.037).

Abstract

We consider the problem of estimating the mean function of a compound cyclic Poisson process in the presence of power function trend. The objectives of this paper are: (i) to construct confidence interval for the mean function of a compound cyclic Poisson process with significance level , (ii) to prove that the probability that the mean function contained in the confidence interval converges to , and (iii) to observe, using simulation study, that the probabilities of the mean function contained in the confidence intervals for bounded length of observation interval. The main results are a confidence interval for the mean function and a theorem about convergence of the probability that the mean function contained in confidence interval. The simulation study shows that the probability that the mean function contained in the confidence interval is in accordance with the theorem. The contribution of this study is to provide information for users regarding confidence interval for the mean function of a compound cyclic Poisson process in the presence of power function trend.

Abstract

Smoking is an activity that can have a bad impact on health, both for yourself and for others. This is because there are various kinds of ingredients that are dangerous to health, there are 4000 types of chemicals found in cigarettes, starting from nicotine and other substances that can cause cancer in humans. The dataset obtained from BPS (Central Statistics Agency) can be utilized by using K-Means Clustering to determine the grouping of smokers aged more than 15 years in each region. The grouping of smokers aged over 15 years can be seen through 3 clusters, Cluster 1 is the highest level of smoking in 10 provinces out of 34 provinces studied, Cluster 2 is the medium level with 15 provinces out of 34 provinces studied, and Cluster 3 is the lowest level. with 9 Provinces.

Abstract

Culinary tourism has its own appeal for tourists visiting an area, but the tourists who come may not necessarily know the culinary offerings in that area, so a system is needed that can provide recommendations to tourists. A recommendation system is a system that can provide suggestions to its users regarding a particular item, and the suggestions given are used in various decision-making processes. The method used is Collaborative Filtering. The problem is how to apply the Collaborative Filtering method to recommend food with many influencing factors, resulting in a relevant recommendation. The recommendation process involves grouping users into a specific group through the clustering process using the K-Mean method, after which the software calculates the similarity between the user and the group members. The calculation of similarity between users and their group members uses the Pearson correlation coefficient formula. The determination of the recommendation results provided uses a ranking system with the highest recommendation values. The data used consists of 18 food data, 100 training data, and 10 testing data. The results of the relevance percentage test reached 80%.

Abstract

Pada pencapaian tujuan sebuah organisasi salah satu faktor pertama dan utama dan pembangunan adalah SDM (Sumber Daya Manusia). Sumber daya manusia (SDM) sebagai peran utama dari seluruh aktivitas dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi. Organisasi perlu mengelola, meningkatkan, mendayagunakan sumber daya manusia tersebut, sehingga sumber daya manusia tersebut berdedikasi dan bermotivasi tinggi, inovatif dan terampil dalam menghasilkan kinerja yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kepemimpinan trasformasional dan fleksibilitas kerja terhadap retesi karyawan secara simultan maupun secara parsial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan proportionate Stratified Sampling dengan 40 orang responden. Penelitian ini dibantu oleh program IBM SPSS 20. Hasil dari penelitian ini adanya pengaruh kepemimpinan trasformasional dan fleksibilitas kerja terhadap retesi karyawan, maka dapat disimpulakan bahwa terdapat hubungan kepemimpinan trasformasional dan fleksibilitas kerja terhadap retesi karyawan.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in driving regional economic growth, including in the fashion industry sector. This article reviews the Pygmaeus Outdoor fashion shoe MSME located in Mojokerto Regency. Pygmaeus Outdoor is a local business that markets various types of shoes targeting the youth segment with various activities. This review examines the business profile, business strategy, and the challenges and opportunities faced. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through literature studies, social media searches, and customer review analysis. Researchers also conducted indirect interviews to explore Pygmaeus Outdoor's SWOT information. The results of the study show that Pygmaeus Outdoor has succeeded in building an image in the eyes of customers by offering original products at low prices through a digital marketing and market approach. This MSME is estimated to still have great potential to continue to grow by providing more outdoor fashion brands, providing more choices for the market, along with the massive increase in digital marketing. This article is also expected to provide insight into entrepreneurship learning and the importance of empowering local MSMEs based on added value.

Abstract

Pengelasan gesek sangat baik dalam metode penyambungan khususnya pada logam poros. Namun pengelasan gesek ini masih jarang dikenal pada bengkel-bengkel pabrikasi. Bengkel pabrikasi tentunya memiliki mesin bubut yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam proses pengelasan gesek dengan mengaplikasikan alat bantu pada mesin bubut tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan rancang bangun alat bantu tekan berbasis hidrolik pada proses pengelasan gesek, sehingga didapatkan cara kerja dari alat dan hasil pengujian alat. Alat bantu tekan gesek berbasis hidrolik ini diaplikasikan pada mesin bubut dalam proses pengelasan gesek. Pengujian alat pada proses pengelasan gesek dilakukan pada material poros 1 inchi dengan kecepatan putar ditetapkan 1600 rpm dan memvariasikan tekanan gesek yaitu 5 kg/cm2, 10 kg/cm2, dan 15 kg/cm2. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian alat yang telah dirancang dalam proses pengelasan gesek pada material poros 1 inchi diperoleh tekanan gesek 5 kg/cm2 tersambung dengan waktu 317 detik, tekanan gesek 10 kg/cm2 tersambung dengan waktu 47 detik, dan tekanan gesek 15 kg/cm2 tersambung dengan waktu 39 detik. Besarnya tekanan gesek mempengaruhi kecepatan penyambungan material pada proses pengelasan gesek. Studi lebih lanjut tentang parameter-parameter yang optimal untuk melakukan pengujian mekanik dalam pengaplikasian alat bantu tekan berbasis hidrolik pada proses pengelasan gesek, seperti hasil rekomendasi dari variasi tekanan gesek dan waktu pengelasan gesek. Dengan adanya alat bantu tekan gesek berbasis hidrolik pada proses pengelasan gesek menjadi suatu alternatif di dunia usaha / dunia industri khususnya pada bengkel pabrikasi yang memiliki mesin bubut.
