Abstract

The learning outcomes of low non-curved geometric shapes are directly proportional to the low level of mathematical communication skills of non-curved geometric shapes. Apart from that, verbal ability is low if students are given questions that have different words in sentences from the previous practice questions, so they have difficulty solving the questions research aims to see the relationship between verbal abilities and Mathematical Communication Skills Build non-curved spaces. This Quantitative research method Correlational technique with variables verbal ability (X) and Mathematical Communication Skills Build non-curved spaces (Y). The research population was all students in class VIII SMPN & Kotabumi with a sample of 24 people. The results of the correlation analysis of verbal ability (X) with Mathematical Communication Skills Build non-curved spaces (Y) produced a correlation coefficient of rhitung 0.57 with rtabel = 0.40. Based on the calculation results, the value obtained is rhitung = 0.57 > rtabel = 0.40 so that H0 is rejected. This shows that there is a relationship between verbal ability and Mathematical Communication Skills Build non-curved spaces for class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Kotabumi North Lampung for the 2022/2023 academic year

Abstract

The research aims to describe Newman's errors in rectangular contextual mathematics problems for students at SMP N 10 Kotabumi. This type of qualitative research is a descriptive case study. Sampling used snowball sampling which then selected 2 students who were grouped into high, medium, and low categories. Data collection techniques use tests and interviews. The instrument is a contextual rectangular test and an interview guide. The results of this research are 1) Students in the high category tend to make errors in the transformation, solving process, and determining the final answer. However, one of the students in the high category made an error in understanding because he made a mistake in determining what was known and was asked, 2) students in the medium category tended to make errors in understanding, transformation, the completion process, and determining the final answer. However, one of the medium category students made a reading error because they read the question incorrectly so it was included in the indicator of not being able to extract keywords and important information from the question, and 3) students in the low category tended to make errors in understanding, transformation, completion process, and determining the final answer. However, one of the low-category students made a reading error because the student did not understand the question he was reading. Reading errors can be seen when students incorrectly determine what is known (field size) and ask questions, make incorrect formulas, and calculate incorrectly

Abstract

Independent KKN (Real Work Lecture) is one of the compulsory courses for students of the Muhammadiyah Kotabumi University to devote themselves to the community. KNN is a form of activity where students serve the community for about 1 month, move and go down directly to overcome problems that exist in the community. The work programs that have been implemented are in the fields of education, al-Islam and Muhammadiyah and counseling and prevention of Covid19. The results of the activities of each field of the compulsory KKN work program are 1) helping students in online learning, 2) helping students in solving problems in online learning difficulties, 3) re-running the recitation of mothers, 4) implementing TPA for children children, 5) conveyed the dangers of the covid 19 virus, and 6) distributed health masks and provided washing hands in public places. Thus the independent KKN work program of the Muhammadiyah Kotabumi University in 2020/2021 has been going well

Abstract

Assistance for students who are hampered from counting using rubber seed abacus media at SD Negeri 03 Semuli Raya is one of the KKN activity schemes for FKIP UMKO students. The results of initial observations identified that out of 10 students, only 2 students were fluent in arithmetic. The purpose of this activity is to improve students' numeracy skills at SD Negeri 03 Semuli Raya and assist students in learning to count using a rubber seed abacus. Participants who took part in this activity were grade 2 students with a total of 10 students. Based on the results of the evaluation of this activity, 80% of students received a score excelent. In addition, the enthusiasm of the students was very high in the process of mentoring arithmetic using a rubber seed abacus as evidenced by the presence of the participants during the 5 meetings they were always present. Another finding is that only rubber seeds can be found easily and for free but can be used as learning media in the form of an interesting abacus for students learning to count.

Abstract

One of the results of the preliminary study, namely interviews with SDIT Insan Robbani teachers, found problems with teachers finding it difficult to make flat shapes and geometric shapes in detail and detail. So far, math teachers only screenshot flat shapes from the internet or draw pictures manually. Geogebra is a solution to easily visualize flat shapes and spatial shapes. The purpose of community service is to increase the knowledge and abilities of the mathematics teacher at SDIT Insan Robbani North Lampung about mathematical software, namely Geogebra. Implementation methods include preliminary studies, problem identification, finding solutions and output targets, training, observing constraints, and evaluating PKM activities. The results achieved were an increase in the teacher's knowledge and abilities about the mathematical software, namely Geogebra. This was shown based on the results of the evaluation of PKM activities, the teacher was able to make 11 learning evaluation instruments in the form of geometry questions and GeoGebra-assisted flat shapes and 3 learning media in the form of video tutorials of flat shapes and GeoGebra-assisted room shapes.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low collaboration skills of students, which were reflected in the lack of active participation in discussions, lack of responsibility in group assignments, and the tendency to discuss outside the learning topic. This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on the collaboration skills of class VII students at SMP Negeri 7 Kotabumi. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of class VIIA as the experimental group and VIID as the control group, each with 35 students. Data were collected through questionnaires and authentic assessment observations. Data analysis was carried out using parametric statistical tests. The results of the study indicate that the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model has a significant impact on students' collaboration skills. Hypothesis testing at a significance level of 0.05 produces a tcount value = 2.31> ttable = 1.995, so the null hypothesis is rejected. This indicates that the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) has a positive impact on collaboration skills. Conclusion, the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model has a positive impact on students' collaboration skills and can be an alternative innovative learning to face the challenges of 21st century education.

Abstract

The problem of this research is the low social arithmetic score of class VII students of MTs Negeri 1 North Lampung of 82.10% under the maximum completeness criterion of 70. So a solution to this problem is sought by analyzing student needs. The purpose of the study aims to analyze the needs of students on Android-based M-Learning media. The method used is descriptive exploratory. The research was conducted on March 21, 2022, with 33 class VII students at MTs Negeri 1 Kotabumi as subjects. The research subjects were randomly selected. The data in this study is in the form of an Android-based M-Learning media needs questionnaire. The findings of this study are that students think that social arithmetic is an important but difficult subject to understand. Difficulties in understanding social arithmetic are indicated due to the lack of available learning resources. Furthermore, regarding the learning strategies or techniques used by the teacher in the learning process, students want material. Discussion regarding the analysis of student needs requires learning resources for social arithmetic material in the form of media that can be visualized with moving animation. In addition, it can be packaged and accessed easily on each student's gadget. Android-based M-learning can accommodate all of that, where social arithmetic material is made in an attractive animated form with complete components in it. Components in the form of learning objectives, basic competencies, questions, and exercises. Android-based M-learning is in the form of an application that can then be installed and accessed free of charge by students. The conclusion is that it is necessary to develop Android-based M-Learning media at MTs Negeri 1 Kotabumi
