Abstract

This research was aimed to investigate the influence of implementation collaborative learning with ispring presenter toward linear programing outcomes. This research was quantitative research. This also used the pre-experimental design with one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample were all students of the 4th of mathematic departement of Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi in academic year 2017/2018. The sample was taken using purposive sampling. The instruments used was linear programing outcomes test. The conclusions of this research was that there is positive influence of implementation collaborative learning with ispring presenter toward linear programing outcomes.

Abstract

Pengantar logika which focus on teacher-centered learning leads to the lack of student involvement in learning. This study aims to describe the application of learning models TAI-based lesson study and see the impact on improving student learning activities. Application of lesson study consists of three stages: planning, implementation (do), and reflection (see). Open lesson implementation is done three times. Based on the findings of the observers, the application of lesson study is able to shift the learning paradigm from teacher-centered to student-centered. This is indicated by the more dominant student activity in learning and increasing student activity every cycle.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The difficulty of students in understanding the material in the integral calculus print book is one factor that makes student learning outcomes low. The difference in students' abilities is one of the considerations in developing process. This study aims to develop integral calculus teaching material using the aptitude treatment interaction (ATI) approach assisted by Macromedia flash. This research belongs to the development research. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and tests. Indicators of the results of this study are teaching materials declared worthy of use and students who get optimal learning outcomes> 75%. The stages in the study consisted of ten stages that began with discovering potentials and problems to mass production. The results of the study showed that the integral calculus teaching material made was feasible to use. As many as 79% of students achieve optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the mathematics learning difficulty locations and the mathematics learning difficulties types faced by mathematics education students. This research is a mix method research study which used a quantitative and a qualitative approach. This research’s subjects were students of mathematics education in Muhammadiyah university Kotabumi who had learning difficulties on Transportation Problem. The instruments used here were in diagnostic test and interview guide. The locations of learning difficulties viewed based on students’ mistakes/difficulties in completing the diagnostic test. These students categorized as students who were experiencing learning difficulties were interviewed to obtain confirmation regarding the mathematics learning difficulties types. The research result suggests that mathematics learning difficulty locations faced by the research subjects are factual knowledge 4,68%, conceptual knowledge 11,32%, procedural knowledge 10,93%, and metacognitive difficulties 12,5%. The mathematics learning difficulties types faced by the research subjects are fact remembering difficulty 4,69%, concept remembering difficulty 11,33%, fact understanding difficulty 4,69%, concept understanding difficulty 11,33%, concept applying difficulty 11,33%, procedure applying difficulty 10,16% ,fact evaluating diffculty 4,69%, , concept evaluating difficulty 11,33%, procedure evaluating difficulty 10,16%, written metakognitive communicating difficulty 1,25%, fact observing difficulty 4,69%, concept observing difficulty 11,33% and procedure observing difficulty 10,16%.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to find out: (1) which one providing better mathematics learning achievement, TAI model, GI model or direct instruction model, (2) which one providing better mathematics learning achievement, the high, medium or low independence of learning students, (3) in each learning models, which one providing better mathematics learning achievement, the high, medium, or low independence of learning students, (4) in each categories of independence of learning, which one providing better mathematics learning achievement, TAI model, GI model or direct instruction learning model. This research used the quasi-experimental research method. The research design was a 3×3 factorial design. The population were all students of the eight class of junior high school in Surakarta on academic year 2015/2016. The sample was taken using stratified cluster random sampling and consisted of 281 students. The instruments used were independence of learning questionnaire and mathematics achievement test. The proposed hypothesis of the research were analyzed by using two-way analysis of variance with unbalanced cells. The conclusions of this research were as follow. (1) TAI model provided the mathematics achievement as good as GI model, TAI model and GI model provided better mathematics achievement than direct instruction model. (2) The high independence of learning student had better mathematics achievement than medium and low independence of learning students, and the medium had better than low independence of learning students. (3) In TAI model and direct instruction model, the high, medium, and low independence of learning had the same mathematics achievement, in GI learning model, the high independence of learning students had mathematics achievement as good as the medium independence of learning students, the high independence of learning had better than the low independence of learning, and the medium independence of learning students had the same as the low independence of learning students. (4) In high and low independence of learning, TAI model, GI model, and direct instruction model provided the same achievement, in medium independence of learning, TAI model and GI model provided the same achievement, TAI model provided better achievement than direct instruction model, GI model was the same as direct instruction model.Keyword: TAI, GI, Direct Instruction, Independence of Learning, and Mathematics Achievement

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah diperolehnya produk berupa bahan ajar teori graf berbasis digital. Bahan ajar tersebut diharapkan mampu memfasilitasi pembelajaran jarak jauh mahasiswa dan juga pembelajaran mandiri mahasiswa. Masa New Normal (pasca) Covid-19, media digital memainkan peranan yang sangat penting dalam menyukseskan pembelajaran jarak jauh dan juga pembelajaran mandiri. Terdapat dua poin penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam mengembangan bahan ajar yaitu: (1) Bahan ajar harus uptodate/sesuai dengan perkembangan yang paling mutakhir (berbasis digital); dan (2) Bahan ajar harus disesuaikan dengan karakteristik mahasiswa atau pembaca yang akan menggunakanya. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pada penelitian adalah: (1) tahapan identifikasi masalah; (2) pengumpulan data (pengumpulan referensi); (3) menyusun desain bahan ajar (buku) digital; (4) memvalidasi desain bahan (buku) ajar kepada validator yang kompeten dibidangnya; (5) melakukan revisi desain bahan (buku) ajar; (6) mengujicobakan bahan (buku) ajar digital secara terbatas; dan (6) merevisi bahan (buku) ajar jika hal-hal yang kurang/perlu diperbaiki. Produk yang dihasilakan berupa sebuah bahan ajar berbentuk digital yang dapat digunakan pada OS Android. Validitas bahan ajar tergolong dalam kategori baik.  Bahan ajar ini ditujukan sebagai alternatif pada pembelajaran jarak jauh dan pembelajaran secara mandiri bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi atau mahasiswa di luar Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi yang menempuh mata kuliah Graf.

Abstract

Google Classroom and whatsapp are the places used in the distance learning process. The use of Google Classroom and whatsapp as a learning medium is often without considering the student's perspective. The efficiency of learning media in making it easier for students to learn. Basically, in choosing learning media, it must be by systematic and planned procedures. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase knowledge regarding the procedure for selecting learning media. The target of the service is a teacher at SMPIT Mulia Abung Semuli, North Lampung. The activity was carried out on November 28, 2021, for 9 hours of lessons. The stages of activity were preparation, socialization, and training. Preparation stage activities related to determining Partners, preliminary studies, formulation of activities, and coordination with partners. The socialization stage is related to the delivery of learning media selection procedure materials, studying learning objectives and teaching materials, and demonstrating how to use video tutorial media using a pen tablet, Cabri 3D application-assisted media, and the use of mobile learning using Smart Apps Creator. The training stage is related to making video tutorials using a pen tablet, media assisted by the Cabri 3D application, and the use of mobile learning using Smart Apps Creator by teachers, and reviewing the ability to learn media. The result of the activity is an increase in knowledge about the procedure for selecting learning media, namely studying learning objectives, studying teaching materials, user abilities, and reviewing learning media abilities

Abstract

The lack of interaction between students and lecturers in learning causes information not to be conveyed optimally. Moreover, fold integral calculus is an abstract material. Therefore, learning innovations are applied that can support more independent learning and are able to visualize abstract material. This study aims to determine the feasibility of the geogebra-assisted electronic module in the fold integral calculus course. This research is classified as development research which refers to Sugiyono development model but is only limited to 7 stages. The stages carried out in the research, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing and product revision. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, user response questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. Indicators of achievement of the results of this study are e-modules are declared suitable for use and students who get optimal learning outcomes are more than 70%. The results showed that the folding integral calculus e-module that was made was feasible to use. This is shown as much as 74% of students achieve optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an effect of the flipped classroom learning model on the learning outcomes of the number pattern of students in class Vlll SMP Negeri 3 Kotabumi. The research method used is experimental research, the design is quasi-experimental. The population in this study was class VIII SMP N 3 Kotabumi in the academic year 2022/2023 and the samples in this study were class Vlll B and Class Vlll C. The sampling technique used cluster sampling. The data collection instrument used multiple-choice test questions. The data analysis technique used n gain test, t-test and prerequisite test. The results of the research that have been carried out, obtained the t-test at the value of n gain, that is, it is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of the flipped classroom learning model on the learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Kotabumi's number pattern. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penelitian eksperimen, desainnya menggunakan quasi experimental.. Populasi pada penelitian ini peserta didik kelas Vlll SMP N 3 Kotabumi tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas Vlll B dan Vlll C. Teknik sampling menggunakan cluster sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan soal tes berbentuk pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji n gain, uji-t dan uji prasyarat. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh uji-t pada nilai n gain yaitu maka ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran flipped classroom terhadap hasil belajar pola bilangan peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Kotabumi.
